My husband went as I needed quiet time. He returned very pleased with the car collection and especially a vintage Mercedes. If we ever return to Reno will visit the NAM with him, as truthfully I can be a little car crazy myself.

I have been twice in the last 5 years. The collection is very cool and well presented. I will go again.

Went with a group of retired military and was amazed at the amount of cars from every era in the history of the automobile. this museum is huge so expect to spend some time if you want to see it all. Very well set up and enjoyable experience!

This is a fun place to visit if you like to see old cars...I mean, REALLY old cars! The bulk of the collection predates the First World War. Lots from the thirties as well with a few from the golden age and some celebrities' cars. Many of the early ones were manufactured in Europe. Three interesting points for me which... More

If you like old things you will like this. The old cars and decor was great. We had a great time looking at all the stuff. Sometimes you need a break from the world around you and this was nice. Reno has kind of die out so this was that break. So if you go enjoy and have fun.

Although the visit that prompted this review was business-related (a small business conference was being held in the auditorium...which was an excellent venue for this purpose, by the way), being a car guy, I'm prompted to review it on its main function: Some may say this car museum's best days are behind it, due to how many of the cars... Displays were great and the vehicles were excellent. Stuff you don't see very often. We enjoyed our afternoon there.

Wonderful experience and definitely a place I will return to when I'm in the area. Admission is reasonable, allows leaving and re-entry and is good for the whole day (which you will need to see all the exhibits). Best advice is to go when they first open in the morning and take a lunch break returning after lunch. I personally... More

We weren't expecting the museum to be as large as it was. The cars were placed in different rooms according to age. There was detailed information for each car, including the price the car originally sold for. So interesting. There is a AAA discount off the already reasonable price. Give yourself a good couple hours to truly appreciate all the... More
