Absolute highlight of our stop in Reno. It is a really good museum, with very knowledgeable and friendly volunteers. I would like to say you must go to visit it, however Reno was such a disappointment it is hard to justify going for the museum only. However, if you are very travelling through the area or you are staying somewhere around Tahoe, it is definitely worth a visit. It has a great car park (which felt surprisingly secure given the surroundings) and you can avoid going into Reno completely.

We visited this museum as part of our package tour. Although I'm not the biggest gearhead, I did enjoy many of the vintage cars and the stories of some of them. I guess there's an element of nostalgia also for people of a certain age, and also some glamor seeing cars owned by famous movie stars. Beyond just cars, the museum also has exhibits with vintage clothing and some other items. I might not have visited this attraction on my own, but was glad that our tour group stopped here. I can see why it's rated one of the best car museums in the country.

Reno was HOT, so we were looking for indoor things to do. This museum was amazing. Of course, we like cars, but the way they set this museum up was very nice. 4 rooms of different ages of cars. Plenty to read about the time and the importance of the cars. Movie stars, owners, creators, all woven into the story. My husband really liked the motors on stands that you could really see and read about. Everything was mint clean. Large gift shop with a variety of items.
You could sit in a Model A ,around a 1930's, and take all the selfies you wanted. You can stay as long as you want.

Amazing collections of cars with incredible restoration value. Some of the cars were in movies like titanic and rebel without a cause. Also some one of kind cars literally the only one built. The movie was supposed to play on the top of every hour but they were having technical difficulties so that was a huge disappoint. Without the movie I got through the exhibit in 30 minutes so not sure if it’s quite worth 12 dollars.

This is the perfect socially distanced activity to do with your POD. I was there on a Monday morning and there were a few staff and a hand full of patrons. You could see each other through the galleries but we never came within 10 feet of each other. Rare cars in great condition and a lot of history!

I've visited several auto museums all over the world and this is certainly one of the best. The collection of truly beautiful cars, trucks and more are organized by time periods with artfully done sets that help create perspective. The docents are very knowledgeable and happy to give you all the details you could want. They have also done a nice job of using displays to highlight cars with a special historical significance.

Lots of Beautiful Cars and History. A MUST see for the whole Family, From children to the eldest. Loved it. I have been to Reno tons of times and I never took time to see what else there was besides the casinos and buffets. The buffets were all closed so I am happy I discovered this wonderful museum with so many beautiful cars and to think about the history these cars play a part of in History. You have to go.

The vast number of autos and motorcycles on display is just great. Literally no aspect of auto history has been neglected, to include celebrity and fictional autos. Almost all are completely and carefully restored. The late 1800s and early 1900s are especially represented. If you are an auto buff, this is a must see musuem.

This museum has a variety of vehicles from the last 200 years. There are 4 galleries and the vehicles are staged in chronological order. This museum is great for auto enthusiasts or for a fun afternoon outing! Highly recommend!!

An Amazing collection of Antique Cars. Advertised as one of the top five in the country and when you visit, you will see why. There are many restored Antique cars to look at in this museum. If a patron wants to adopt a car they can. Allow at least four hours to do this museum.
