My family went for a trail ride with wrangler Dana. It was so much fun and we learned a lot about horses. Dana is a wonderful guide and very accommodating. If you want a real Western experience, this is the place. They have bulls, horses, chickens, pigs, and goats. I can’t say enough about how great it is for adults and children too. We will be back. Thanks again for a unique experience!…

I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the trail ride today a SVR. Though we've lived in the LV area for quite a long time, this was an adventure that was unforgettable. Our Wrangler Dana was fantastic from start to finish, great knowledge of the history of the area and loaded with facts about the desert. High praise to our rides, Tank and Chex. We felt at home the second we arrived, the lunch after the ride was fantastic, the Ranch itself wonderful. Well worth the hour drive, we'll do it again, thanks SVR for a great day and thank you Dana for making the day perfect....!…

We stayed in the Peacock tiny home on the ranch and it could not have been a more beautiful place to disconnect from the world. The stars that night were UNBELIEVABLE. We went to Idle Spurs Tavern for some cold beer and food from the food truck outside (believe it’s closed around 7pm on a Monday)!…

Wife and I came down for a weekend celebrating our anniversary. I got to ride Tank! We enjoyed riding with Ernesto to the top of a hill with great views. Desert is still pretty with wildflowers due to all the rain and mild weather. Meals at the lodge were very good. We spent the night in the covered wagon. Less than an hour drive from Vegas. You can also stop at Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings on the way home. We had a ball. Thank you Ernesto, Isabella and Boss Lady!!…

Our office went to Sandy Valley Ranch for a team building activity, this included employees and family. We had a really really great time. The adults as well as the kids (and I would say especially the teenagers) enjoyed the different activities they had set up for us. Besides corralling cattle on horses, we did ax throwing, lassoing, ax throwing and even tug of war. No one used their phones except to take pictures. The staff was so friendly and so inviting. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Marilyn and staff!!…
