My wife and I needed a getaway a she found this place. So glad she did! Staff is amazing. Luis took us on a 90 minute horseback ride and would highly recommend him as a guide. The "Boss Lady" Terry is a sweetheart and made us feel right at home. Don't miss out on the cowboy breakfast either! Also amazing.... More

I recently came here on a business team building day. We had a great time! The staff was wonderful and the cowboy games were a ton of fun! This is a great place for a business meeting or for a weekend getaway from Vegas!

It's true that Sandy Valley Ranch is "45 minutes and 100 years from Las Vegas," and it was a great getaway! My boyfriend and I had a great time horseback riding through the beautiful scenery, cattle-penning, and trying our hand at slingshots and axe-throwing. We also ate a delicious meal in the cute ranch house. We stayed overnight in the... More

I am very disappointed with the wedding coordinator and her husband at this venue. I began my wedding planning in April for a May 2017 wedding. I found this venue and just fell in love with it from the beginning as the feel for the wedding I was planning was completely nontraditional and was all set to go, but then... More

Great horses, great people, and a truly unique experience moving cattle across the desert plain. For an 11-year-old horse-loving daughter, she would pick Sandy Valley Ranch over Disney World or any other place on Earth. We've been there 3 times and we most certainly will return!

I spent a day with the kind folk and great horses at SVR recently and can only say that if you are looking for something great and different to do while visiting the area, you’d be crazy not to add this place to your itinerary. Even if you’re not normally a horse person, it’s going to be a great day... More

This was my second trip to sandy Valley when staying in Vegas. Love this place, everyone is so welcoming and the horses are well schooled. I ride in England so it's fun to come here and play cowgirl and pen cattle and do something so totally different! Frosty was a great host and looked after me and made sure I... More

We booked a sunset ride through Tony at Sandy Valley Ranch after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Tony was very helpful and after a bit organisation the evening was booked. We arrived at Sandy Valley Ranch a tad late after a slow trip out of Vegas (sorry Tony) and we had a warm welcome from 'Frosty' our Rancher for the... More

As part of the Cowboy experience we travelled to Sandy Valley Ranch and had the best day of cowboy fun. The hosts and wranglers where excellent and provided us with good info and well taken care of horses for a fun trail ride and a bit of cattle penning. The lunch was excellent and cowboy hockey, a blast. Everyone at... More
