This was our third trip to Laughlin and the Riverside casino and we have taken the USS Riverside river tour every time.

It is an hour and a half tour that takes you up to the Davis dam and then back down to Harrah's casino before returning to the Riverside.

Along the way there is a narrated description of the history and the sights along the river.

It is a very nice way to see the river from a different point of view and can't beat the price at $10.00 per person. Since we stay at the Riverside we get a two for one coupon with our package. So you really can't go wrong with an hour and a half of relaxation for $5.00.

The USS Riverside is a must if your ever in Laughlin! We got lucky enough to take a ride on this gem Saturday, 4th of July. The staff on the boat was quick to accomadate all guests and take drink orders. Adult beverages were super cheap and amazing compared to some of the bars and restaurants in Laughlin. The non-alcoholic beverages were just as awesome when served over ice with a lid and straw. Staff was quick to answer questions and the tour guide recording was super neat and enlightening. Our sons loved it all and were super pumped to see the dam since they remember that's where BumbleBee was kept during one of the Transformer movies. My 4 year old was super sad when BumbleBee didn't come out to say hi, during our ride but quickly got over it when he got to have a soda. The conclusion of the ride was entertaining to hear classic oldies to sing along too with the family and other guests. so thank you USS Riverside crew for making our journey so memorable!

Worst scenic cruise, a large group was aboard, they made it into a party boat. They were drinking their own wine, the crew member took one bottle from them and told them they could not drink their alcohol but when he went to the lower deck they just took out more.
They played loud music, remember this is a scenic cruise with narration of the history playing. They were dancing around and kids were tossing items off the deck into the river.
The crew member asked them to stop and remove the blue tooth, they ignored him.
He apologized to me several times and asked me to go to the lower deck to hear, no I should not be moved they should end the party deck for the group.
The crew needs to manage their passengers not let the passengers run the boat.
Waste of money. I can not even tell you about the history we could not hear it.

The ride was reasonably priced ($10) and you can always find coupon deals for BOGO. There was an interesting commentary about each of the casinos and a bit of the history of Laughlin. You board at the Riverside Casino and the boat goes down to Davis Dam and then turns around and goes up to Harrah's before turning around to come back to the Riverside. About an hour total. I recommend going up the spiral staircase to the top deck if it's a nice day. Beautiful view and so relaxing.

Not a lot to see in Laughlin, but cruise takes you up river to the dam, and back down Casino Row. Narration gives you some history that made trip more worthwhile. Cruise takes a little over an hour; first departure is 12:30 and every 2 hours thereafter.

Cruise is $10 per person. Take the first cruise during the summer at 10:30 a.m. as otherwise it will be too hot. Bring cash to buy a drink. I had a very good strawberry daiquiri on board. The narration is a little canned but good historical facts and they update it periodically.

What a great time we had. It was on St Patrick's Day got on top level. Just a spectacular view, learned a lot about the area. The fun group on board made it even more enjoyable. Had a couple of drinks, took in the fresh cool breeze, and spectacular views. The Davis Dam was impressive as is the clear water. It's a bargain for $10.00. Beers were $3.00 and ice cold. What a nice attraction. Also learned that if your from Minnesota you get airfare (direct flight) and Room for $279.00. Now that's impressive. And it was for 5 days for the folks we met. Once again Don Laughlin does things with people in mind.

We did the Riverside boat tour from Don Laughlin's Resort it was excellent. Nice story about how Laughlin began and how Don Laughlin built the bridge with his own money. It takes you right up to Davis Dam and down as far as the Golden Nugget. We had the drinks Pirate Punch wicked drinks. Color not so impressive as they were green. Would be nice for St. Patrick's Day, but they tasted awesome. Not sure how many shots of liquor went in them but they were tasty and it was more than four. This tour is not too pricey just $10 each. It's an informative and relaxing tour. Definitely would recommend doing this if you stay in Laughlin or Bull Head City.

Go!

Enjoy an hour and twenty minute boat ride on the lovely Colorado River.

It leaves from Don Laughlin's Resort. The ticket office is on the lower level/river side. Tickets are just $10.00 an adult...chldren less.

All nicely narrated, giving you a history lesson of the area. See the Davis Dam, camping, the casinos, the riverwalk and the beautiful, CLEAN Colorado River.

They come around on the boat for drink orders. The boat was very clean and had plenty of seating.

We enjoyed it VERY much and is a great way to take in an overview of the area.

Go!
