We enjoyed driving out here to check out the dam

While the weather is soo hot in Laughlin we decided to pay the $7.00 day fee at Camp Davis and dunked into the water. We bought a tube for $7.99 right up the road at the gas station and had sooo much fun in the river. Some points in the river are pretty deep. Was great swimming. Lots of jet... More

Great trout fishing and lots of historical information relative to the Colorado river and what the dam provides.

We took the river boat to view Davis Dam. It was a good trip, comfortable with drinks you can buy available. The captain gave a pretty good historical speech about the area and how Laughlin came to be the town it is today.

This is one of the most interesting dams and Colorado River projects in the US. A great place to visit that doesn't take hours and hours to see. Love it there. There is camping nearby with lots of river activities at a variety of places along the river.

It was a warm morning when we drove here from Laughling to see Davis Dam. It was a short drive from our hotel. Weather was hot and clear. The road was being rebuilt in places due to some flash flooding, so we had to wait for a pilot car to take us through. We had a nice chat with the... More

Just a short distance from Laughlin. You can either drive or take a short hike (3.5 miles round trip). Davis Dam is not very big (compared to Hoover Dam) and I don't think there are any tours but this dam creates Lake Mohave. They created a really nice picnic area at the dam so whether you take the nice, scenic... More

Easy access, paved trail with several interpretive stops along the way, 3 mile up and back, a short grade ride up a steep grade up the dam, great view to the north. You could loop all the around if you can manage the highway on the AZ side.

What a wonderful place to visit. Nice walkways, picnicking is available w/clean restrooms and shaded picnic tables along with charcoal grills for bar-b-queuing.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Fishing, boating and swimming just to name a few. The lake is so clear. Great place to relax!

This is a definite must see but they do not allow tours and if you go see it you get shoed off and asked to leave but you can snap a few pics before they tell you to get lost.
