Will never shop here again

So I had a barney's gift card and it turns out that there was fraud and that someone? (maybe who knows) had used my card so I had a balance of $0. The staff were helpful but they couldn't do anything about it so they called the manager, Jack I believe was his name. I must tell you Jack is the worst possible human being I have met in retail. He looked pissed the entire time and he didn't even greet me. The first thing he told me was to move out from the cashier section (Which I was invited inside by the staff to look at the computer). He than proceeded to tell me that I have to contact the New York store (remember we are in NEVADA) to resolve the card problem (how? the card is with me, so I should fly all the way to New York?). So I asked him if they can help me call the New York office and he said no he will not. He was an absolute jerk the whole time and almost ruined my Las Vegas experience. Will never shop at Barneys anymore (I used to shop a lot here hence the gift card) Would give 0 stars if possible. Go to the Neiman Marcus store on the same street, service is 100x better.

Finally found the perfect trainers in here. They were Adidas made especially for Barneys. Mixture of price ranges so worth checking out as you can be lucky especially if there’s sales on.

This is a high end department store originating from new york with branches in vegas, san francisco etc.

There's an excellent men's section with all the luxury brands present. I even got 2 pairs of balenciaga sneakers that are sold out in 5 other cities i tried

Great service, not everything is expensive.

We were staying at The Palazzo and decided to check out Barney's. I was looking for some shoes, but did not find the exact ones I was looking for and my wife was looking for some cosmetics. She found the moisturizer she was looking for and it was not overly expensive. It was not cheap but the price was much better than I expected. Jennifer, in the cosmetics department was super. She was so friendly and helpful and gave us a number of great samples as well. I would shop here again.

High Fashion, High Price unless........................
Jul 2016 • Couples
What will you find at Barneys of New York....top fashion designers like Givenchy, Helmut Lang, and Saint Laurent. And clothes costing in the thousand of dollars $$$$$.

That is unless they are having a sale. Sometimes up to 75% off.

So you don't have to win big bucks gambling in the pits to always shop here.

If you are the Palazzo/Venetian, it might be worth you while to stop in and take a look around.

Customer service this bad is rare

First, their selection is pretty fantastic. They have all of the brands I love and some others I had not previously heard of before. I found a perfect cashmere sweater by Tory Sport. I didn't realize Tory Burch had an activewear line. I'm not sure I would consider a white cashmere sweater "activewear" but it was cute as all heck. I started wandering around with it on the hanger knowing 100% I wanted it and wasn't even going to spend the time trying it on. We smoked a cigar previously and I thought it would be tacky to try on something and possibly ruin the sweater with any cigar odor.

Did any of the meandering staff who looked utterly bored even ask me if I wanted to try it on, let alone a "hello," no. No they did not. Certainly not for them being busy.

I went out of my way to find the nicest looking salesman to ring up my purchase to avoid giving it to the other people slothing around. Let's be honest, at the end of the day you work in retail. Not helping customers because you're lazy is super unprofessional and the, "I'm so cool that I work here" attitude is obnoxious. This is Vegas, there are a million ultra high end stores within walking distance so it isn't as if shoppers lack options. You were the last stop in of a very long shopping day or I would've looked elsewhere for the sweater.

Luckily, I somehow found the one nice lady salesperson and she was fantastic. We chatted a bit, she was friendly and knowledgable. She asked me if I wanted to try on the sweater and said she appreciated that I told her why I preferred not to (possible smoke smell).

Sadly, that was short lived because I was told "not to take pictures" while waiting for my cousin to scope out a handbag. First, I hadn't taken a photo in the first place. I was holding the phone so I could read my husband's text after I recently had eye surgery. What the heck is with the unwarranted attitude? I still giggle at the weirdness of that exchange and overly snobby attitude of some sales kid too busy standing talking to his coworker and not helping my cousin. She found the exact same bag at another store and bought it there instead. Perhaps help your customer and not yelling at them for taking a picture, which I hadn't.

The only reason they get anything over one star is because I love their overall selection of products, convenient location, and look of the store. Otherwise, as for customer service, I've seen friendlier people making a wage in a silly outfit literally 30 feet outside of your store. Stay in your lane and leave the nasty attitude at home because those of us shopping don't care that you work there, we just want to buy things. I know this may sound like a lot of scuttle over something seemingly silly, and it would be silly if it were one salesman with a sour attitude and not multiple floors of people standing around not helping anyone until I'm getting accosted by perfume sprays on my way out. Nothing annoys me more than poor customer service and a bad attitude. Sadly, they have both.

Barneys at a pinch

You can of find yourself being overawed at a Barneys store in New York or elsewhere but here we had a pleasant browse, looked around the item on offer but I am too much of low roller to buy from there.

Still a great store!

one of the reasons why I stay at the Palazzo when I am in Vegas is because there is a barneys in the hotel. It might be smaller in comparison to the Madison Avenue store, but the selection is terrific!

Great Perfumes

We discovered some great fragrance products at Barney's. If you're into fragrance you must check it out...Frederick Malle and Le Labo...take you're pick. They do a great job of guiding you through the experience.

Still Unbelievable!!!
So one of the reasons why I stay at the Palazzo is bc of the Barneys! Still has a great selection and the staff is always helpful. Plus, they have some great sales going on now! Definitely worth checking out when you're in town!
