We were staying in the Excalibur so decided to go to the show one night last minute. Buying tickets outside was a bit of a nightmare, very slow and high price but we eventually got there in the end and ended up with cheaper tickets at $36 per person. Honestly I’m giving the show 4 stars cause the boys work very hard and I feel sorry for them. They were so nice every time we met them in the hotel when they were promoting the show and when we were there. But overall it was a bit disappointing as most of the people in the audience are planted there and are members of staff. It is so obvious. But that’s not the boys fault! We had a great night with lots of laughs and the boys need to be supported in their jobs as they are only trying to make a living! Chad was our favourite....we love you Chad ❤️

Hi U7272GAkathym, thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We can honestly say that there are no ‘plants’ in the Thunder audience. Every ticket is purchased and each audience participant is legitimate. Hope that you enjoyed the rest of your time in Vegas. Come see us again soon.

Took my Girl for her Birthday to this show. The performers did a fantastic job with their routines and performances. There is a little bit of touching and interactivity in this show (just go with it). All the ladies appeared to have a great time, and all the dialog is geared to a "Girls night out". I did see some Gay Couples enjoying the show as well, but the performers are all about the ladies in this concept, so fellas.. do not expect any attention.

But.. Over all.. Great show!

As always, the gentlemen of Thunder gave a fabulous show. Truly enjoyed it and can't wait to see them again. What truly made the show special for me was that Nick, emcee, remembered me from 4 years ago. Truly wonderful gentlemen, thank you so much.

Racy, raunchy show that is suitable for bawdy bachelorette parties. If you want to see hot, toned guys who know how to move their bodies in tune to the music go see a Cirque du Soleil show instead. Lots of simulated sex/thrusting and innuendo. Men looking a bit tired, pasty and flabby.

Hi virtvacat, Thanks for taking the time to leave this review, however, we are disappointed to hear the show did not meet your expectations. All our Thunder blokes are 'regular' guys from 'regular' jobs, with no formal dance training. We hope you enjoyed your time in Vegas.

The show was pretty entertaining and the guys interacted with the audience quite a bit, which was fun. Maybe I’m being critical here, but these guys were horrible dancers! I guess I expected more of a Magic Mike vibe. Most of them looked super awkward trying to dance on stage and it was cringeworthy to watch at times. I am glad I went because we had a good time, but next time I will go a different show. If you plan on going, definitely pay to sit on the main floor.

G’day lorita688, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. At Thunder, none of our performers are trained dancers, they are normal Aussie blokes putting on the best show possible. We are glad you enjoyed the show and hope to see you again soon. Thunder x

I went with 3 other guys and the dancers were all really cool. They didn't engage the guys in the audience during the show ur they came up to us at the very end and gave us all hugs and apologized for not engaging us during the performance. They stated it went against the fantasy. They still took pictures with us and made funny jokes and thanked us for attending.

Lots of women attend and gay friendly!

I must preface this review by saying I very reluctantly went to this show. A friend bought the ticket for me as she was attending as part of a conference, and I would not have even looked at a poster for this show otherwise, much less gone to see it. I should also say that I am far from a prude, and have no issue with healthy expressions of sexuality, and have even been known to enjoy 'adult' entertainment. During this show, I mainly watched the audience or stared at my hands/the back of the head of the girl in front of me, because I was too horrified to look anywhere else.

I found this show to be base, disgusting, and patently offensive. Not because of the 'dancers' (who were all old-looking, greasy, and kind of hideous - they may have looked better had they not been tanned and oiled within an inch of their lives), but because of the way the show involves the audience. The 'dancers' were not talented or attractive in any way, the 'choreography' was cheesy and poorly executed, and the music and staging were 10th-rate, but the women still screamed like they were on fire. I found it repulsive that at the beginning of the show, the audience was told to forget about having husbands and boyfriends, and that anything goes. Women were brought up on stage and groped in front of everyone, and the guys went into the audience and shook their bits in women's faces, touched their breasts, put their faces to women's chests, and took women's hands and forced them down their pants/g-strings. I guess being in the audience means you have consented to touch and be touched?

If you want to be groped by random guys, I'm pretty sure you can do it for free at any nightclub in any city in the world. Probably they'll even buy you a drink first.

However, most of the audience really seemed to be enjoying themselves, which brings me back to the title of this review. Rather than this being a case of objectification of men, I truly felt that the women in the audience were objectifying themselves. Whether due to peer pressure or drunkenness or some combination of factors I'm not sure, but the three women who were clearly uncomfortable with the fake orgasm contest still participated and allowed the MC to put his hands all over them. The 80 year-old grandmother who spoke no English allowed her hand to be forced down the pants of the 50 year-old MC. The girls brought up on stage for various dances allowed the guys to lie on top of them, grind on them, and essentially dry hump them. Women flashed their breasts. I haven't quite processed what this all means, but it speaks to some deeper issues that we have to resolve if women are to reach a place of real sexual empowerment.

If I could have left the room I would have, but the space is very small and there is no way to stand up and walk out without being seen (and probably then grabbed and groped).

I'm kind of ashamed to say I attended this show, yet I feel compelled to review it. Our group of six ladies got a table near the back. It was for someone's birthday. Thankfully we were close to the bar. I recommend cocktails, etc to get through it. The showroom was completely full and women were totally into it, screaming and jumping around. I did appreciate that they tended to choose the audience members who were most emotionally demonstrative to go up on stage. So if you want to hang out and not be singled out, you can. One of our pals was very excited and got selected to go up on stage. She later reported that the dancer did ask for her number and suggest getting together. Seems like the guys are very interested in the ladies. I wouldn't have guessed that. The show really didn't seem too naughty. There are a few bare butts and a lot of gyrating. They dress up in the typical costumes like firefighters, SWAT guys and cowboys. The guys look full of steroids and/or growth hormones. The show wasn't too long either. The ladies in my group had fun. If you know what you are in for, it is mildly humorous. I should also mention that there is some touching. Women were actively encouraged to touch the men, who also touched them. So watch out for that. Quite different from a strip club that men attend to see women. The gender differences are interesting, from a sociological perspective. I'm sure the women dancing for male customers are so much more at risk than men dancing for female customers that they have to have a lot of no touching rules. I would caution the women attending this show to still be alert and watch out for themselves. We did observe dancers groping women. I'm probably not the best reviewer for this type of entertainment since I prefer the kind of guy you might find in a library or an art museum.

The manager/owner of the show was standing over our right shoulder and would not stop talking with his buddy. We called an usher over and he refused to say anything to the guy because he was the "owner". His talking was really taking away from my wife's enjoyment of the show(yes I was a trooper and went with her). So I got up and asked if he could keep it down. He moved his conversation for a while a little further away for about 30 minutes. Then he came back and sat down by us and started talking again. He was so loud you could not hear the guy on stage. Long story short, if you are in the entertainment business and you can't understand when you are taking away from your guests experience, you may not be in the right line of work.

This was very unfortunate and if not for this gentleman, it probably would have been a very good experience.

This show is definitely HOT (literally as well as figuratively; there are sweaty bits), and very enjoyable. It is definitely well worth seeing on its own merits but the best way I can think of describing it is to compare and contrast it with Chippendales. This seems a bit strange to say ("Aren't they both basically male strip shows?" you ask), but the vibe is quite different. This show seems to have a harder edge, being a bit less polite and bit more raunchy/scandalizing. (For example, there's MUCH more crotch-grabbing onstage and overt encouragement for audience members to fondle.) The dance numbers seem less designed to act out fantasy scenarios than to maximize skin exposure as quickly as possible. (One could think of worse sins.) You don't see much of the performer's personalities (but perhaps more of their bodies), and there is overall a much greater sense of abandon/sexual "danger". I think that women in the Chippendales audience will fantasize about being seduced, while women in the Thunder from Down Under will fantasize about being (willingly) "taken". From my perspective as a (welcomed) gay observer, it seems to me that Thunder from Down Under is more like women's porn written by a man (i.e., often more sexual), whereas Chippendales is more like women's porn written by a woman (i.e., often more sensual). So ladies, what's your appetite du jour? Perhaps sample both entrees?
