Check in was super easy we were upgraded to the newer tower in the hotel. We had a three day booking, after the first day in the Hotel we noticed there were a lot of gnats in our bathroom and in the room itself. Upon the morning of day two I went down to the front desk to alert them of the bugs in the room they made a note to housekeeping. When returning to our room later in the day the gnats were still in the room, it was obvious that housekeeping had came in a serviced the room. We waited for the next morning because pesticides aren’t instant upon waking there were still gnats. Upon checkout we notified the front desk again about the bugs on the room and told them I think the bugs are coming out of the sink, there response was to let housekeeping know. Yes I have photos and videos but your website won’t allow me to upload those they’re telling me my screenshot is too big of a photo .

The one dollar blackjack is only at one actual table. The rest is video. All the employees I encountered were very rude except the waitresses. Parking garage was filled with drugged up homeless people and smells like piss.

We went there for 2 nights and 2 days. The pool was closed. 100 degrees outside. They only refunded me 1 night of resort fee. Even tho we couldn’t use the pool for two days. If I knew this, I would have booked a different hotel. I understand it’s not the staff fault. But it’s not my fault either. And I am the one losing money and having the bad experience. Not them. I asked for a second day resort fee refund. They denied, with a bad attitude. They never offered a solution, they never suggested another hotel pools where they accept non-guest visitors. We had to look it up ourselves and ended up paying $100 for both days to use a different hotel pool. We literally went to Vegas to lay in the pool and have some drinks. We spent our money, and could not do what we went to do. The hotel was not helpful, not friendly. I am not staying here again.

Used to be downtown was where you went for low limits, but that has pretty much vanished these days. They still have a live $5 craps table here. I usually have a roundabout way of getting here since the Fremont remodeled their food court I hit the steak and shake deal then walk across the street to the casino

This hotel lacks good customer service and integrity. I checked in for two nights (7/19/17 &7/20/17) and was given a disabled room, I made is very clear to the receptionist that I DID NOT want a disabled room because I didn't feel right, the room should be given to other guests with a disability. She totally disregarded my request, all she said was that they were sold out. I agreed to staying one night and requested to be changed to a regular room the second night, receptionist said nothing to me. When I got to the room, I called customer service right way and requested a room change for my 2nd night, was told it shouldn't be a problem because they are not sold out. Taking a shower that night was difficult as the shower chair took up 75% of the shower and though the bed was somewhat comfortable, the bed was too low to the ground for us. The second day came, I never received a call about room change, but I thought they gave me their words so I will be patient. I NEVER got the call. When I checked out, I told the receptionist I was very disappointed that they totally disregarded my room change request and I felt like they did not value me as a customer. She gave me the impression she didn't want to hear what I had to say. She told one of the manager on duty to come talk to me (didn't get her name), she said she called me on my cell phone and left a message as well as called me in the room (why would I be in the room, I'm in Vegas!), but I never responded so the request was not honored. I was furious because I had my phone with me at all time in case my kids called for emergency; I NEVER received a call, message or missed call from the hotel. She was a total liar; she couldn't prove to me what time she called when I inquired. My husband and my best friend were furious as well; they came to my defense because we were all together two days straight and saw that I never received any call from the hotel. That manager never once apologized either. Though she waived my resort fee for one night, I was still angry and not a happy customer the fact that she lied. I hate liars; I will take my business somewhere else where I am value as a customer. I will never stay at this hotel again.

We visited several weeks ago and noticed that all of the table games have been moved to a side room. Very odd. It appears cramped and closed off from the rest of the casino. We were going to play craps but decide not to play in what is basically little more than a closet with no interaction with the rest of the casino. If we were slot players we might have a different opinion of the property.

This casino had a lot of lukewarm to poor reviews on the Vegas message boards in its first year. I had been through it briefly myself during that period and had not been much impressed but I decided to give it another chance when I was staying downtown last November.
I'm really glad I did. The previous time I had been there, the casino seemed dark and vaguely uninviting but it seemed brighter this time and I was more tempted to try the slots.
Before I play any slot, I get a players card. This was the only low point to my visit as I had a really hard time finding where I could do this. I finally asked an employee to show me. It turned out I had passed it several times but the signage did not make it clear that this was the players club desk.
They redeemed themselves once I got in line to get my card. I got my license out in preparation, although the line seemed to be moving slowly. I hadn't been in line very long when an employee approached and asked if I was in line to get a players card.
When I told her I was, she used a handheld device to make me a card right there on the spot. I've never had that happen anywhere else. She told me that once I had 100 points on the card, I could return here to get a free T shirt and I should give them this card in exchange for a permanent one then. Cool.
They had a nice variety of slots, both new and older ones. I wandered around and tried several different ones. I didn't break the bank but I did have a bunch of nice runs and actually came out ahead of when I started.
Cocktail service was good too. One thing I had noticed on this trip was that most places had cut back on the cocktail waitresses quite a bit but it was very easy to get a drink here. The waitresses I saw were friendly and attentive.
The line to get my free T shirt (the same one where you get your players card) was moving much faster when I returned and the people working the desk were friendly and efficient.
I will definitely return to this casino the next time I'm in Vegas. I enjoyed myself there so much that I'm actually considering staying at the hotel if the price is right. My only hesitancy on that front is that the room prices are higher than most downtown rooms and they won't refund your deposit if you need to cancel the reservation. It's the only hotel in Vegas I've come across with that policy.
It's not right there on Fremont Street but it's a short walk. Walk down the street between the side of the Fremont Hotel and that large souvenir shop and there it is, only a block away from the action. DTG is also right across the street from Pizza Rock, which has some truly excellent pizza.

The website advertises a slot tournament daily, but doesn't give much detail. Anyone know more about this such as when they do it, and if you win, how/when do you get your prize? Thanks!
Written October 24, 2018
You have to sign up for the tournament as a guest then you get credit at the slots and discounts at the restaurants and bars. I don’t think you actually win cash. But I did well at the blackjack table there.
