We did this tour with Chad, as a family with a 17 year old and a 20 year old. It ticked all the boxes - a photo stop at the Las Vegas sign, a free McDonald’s breakfast, a stop at the Skywalk, another stop with fantastic views of the Canyon, and finally the hoover Dam. Lunch was also included. Chad was so interesting and we left with some amazing photos that he took of us as a family - including sone trick shots canyon side. Definitely do this tour rather than one of the bigger bus tours. Highly recommend.

I happen to see this tour here and decided to write a review. we were on this tour 7 years back and Alfonso was a great guide. I have never seen anyone who love his work and he takes care of everyone. One of the best experiences. some of the members of the tour were not happy as he happened to leave us for some time to take care of his co-worker van broken down. He still did his best of taking care of the situation. But even as a few were not happy he talked to his company and they told they will be refunded. But we refused the refund because he worked very hard and took the best photos and he genuinely wanted to keep everyone happy. Thanks and simply a great character if you want to enjoy this tour.

Our Grand Canyon sunset tour was pushed back a day due to our scheduled guide being unwell. We were over in vegas for an extended stay so this didn’t cause an issue, and communication from the company was clear, prompt and professional. On the day we were promptly collected directly from our hotel by Chad (our host, driver and guide for the day). A quick stop to pick up a further couple (coincidentally also from England) and we were on our way. Leaving vegas to Hoover Dam, Chad gave us a pretty detailed potted history of the founding of the town and other nuggets of southern Nevada (Nevadian?) history - delivered in a fun accessible way. We then stopped for 15 mins at the dam to check it out and take a brief photo op and it was wagons roll, back in the van. Truck stop opportunity for snacks and drinks at Kingman, were we got caught in a short torrential rain - the tour company was packing waterproof coats for such eventualities, which were a welcome sight. After the pit stop we were back on the road to Seligman AZ and had a half hour to check out the original Route 66, grab an ice cream and pick up a souvenir. Again Chad gave a very detailed insight to the social history of Route 66 and its mothballing. You felt like you were experiencing a real slice of americana, rather than your standard tour. Back in the van and then finally onto the Grand Canyon National Park. Arrived mid-afternoon and set up for our provided picnic lunch: Arby’s Turkey sandwich, grapes, cheese, crackers, cookies - baked by our guide - and water. One of the best picnic lunches we’ve had. The food was good but was enhanced by the view out onto the Canyon. After lunch we hit a few other spots, and this was where Chad really shone as our guide. Again he had great knowledge of not just the canyon and it’s discovery but also the geology and flora and fauna of the area, as well as the social history. He had some great spots scoped out for photos and viewing the canyon, as well as advice on general safety and options for people not as comfortable with heights. A quick visit to the gift shop for bathroom, souvenirs and drinks and then we hit the spot picked out by Chad for the sunset. Conditions were perfect for a memorable one and this was just awe-inspiring. Around 8-ish we loaded back up and made the trek back to vegas, getting back to our hotel around half an hour after midnight. It was a seriously long day but was a highlight of our trip. For what we paid the value for money was very good. Combine this with the service, knowledge and entertainment provide by our host for the day, along with lunch and lots of water plus those little touches (waterproofs, towels, binoculars etc) and it felt like a real winner. Thank you again for a day that will live in our memories.

By far one of my best tours! Chad is a superb tour guide and host, sharing his extensive knowledge and engaging with us all. Taking us to the best views, helping us with photos & making sure we kept hydrated - Nothing was too much trouble. Looking forward to taking another trip!
