- Norris AChicago, Illinois2,163 contributionsEye candy for the kid in all of usIt's excellent in that it is free to visit and more icing on the beautiful Bellagio cake that already gives us the lake with the dancing fountains and the Dale Chihuli flower sculpture above reception at no charge in a city built to make money at every opportunity. It does entice visitors from other hotels and maybe they'll like what they see and make a future booking or buy a drink in a bar-or even gamble! It's excellent as the displays are always whimsical and delight the eye. You will take pictures! No it's not a real Botanic Garden but this is Las Vegas the Entertainment Capital of America. Leave your pruning shears and trowel in your room as I did. Be entertained. Your kids will love it and so will the kid in you. It's Botanic Art. Yes you are unlikely to have the space to yourself as it is a tourist attraction but it depends on when you go. Early is good. At 7 a.m you'll have it to yourself. The glass roof lets in lots of natural light. At night expect it to be packed with people taking selfies. You'll need patience though if you are hoping to get perfect photos or you'll have to shoot over people's heads. They had just changed over from their Christmas display to the Year of the Rat Chinese Lunar New Year in January. No doubt there is a Spring display planned so if making a booking you might want to call Bellagio to check that there will be an installation in place when you travel if these displays appeal to you. Enjoy!Visited January 2020Written January 31, 2020
- MichaelLong1963Colorado Springs, Colorado341 contributionsEnchanting Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical GardenAnother reason to visit this beautiful resort. The Bellagio offers 2 great FREE attractions! The fountains get a lot of attention or fame and it's well deserved but the Conservatory & Botanical Garden offers an enchanting experience. They change the scenery of it to match the different seasons and holidays of the year so if you visit Vegas often it's worth visiting each time. It's a completely different experience visiting during the day and night because of the lighting. Due to the virus they are limiting how many people can be inside the Conservatory at a time but the line goes pretty quickly so it's worth the wait if you encounter a line. The Conservatory is located right off the main lobby that has the larges glass art flower display by Chihuly that I've ever seen above the lobby area. It's worth going there just to see this art collection alone because it's so beautiful.Visited July 2020Written July 18, 2020
- Larry RIndio, California478 contributionsNo parking fees at the present time! The conservatory is a fascinating exhibit using flowers that changes over time. It's a free exhibit a short distance from Bellagio's entrance. Shortly after entering don't forget to look up and see million dollar display of blown glass installed on ceiling. The parking fees for the Bellagio has been suspended, so parking is free when visiting. Coordinate your visit for an evening water show at the fountains a short distance from the entrance along Las Vegas Blvd.Visited July 2020Written July 19, 2020
- Vic P19 contributionsAwesome views for free! Don’t miss. The majestic dancing fountains are here. Inside the lobby is a colorful blown glass ceiling by the artist Chuhuly. Walk a few steps and come to their conservatory. The brilliant display of the month was the Chinese New Year of the Rat. I also saw the chocolate fountains at the bakery, bought a souvenir Bellagio pen for $4 that was marked down for clearance. I wandered in the Valentino shop and felt a silky $4K Valentino dress for the first time. The walkways and halls were of marble design. Limos, even a pink Hummer limo and expensive cars were in the parkway in front of the lobby. It’s a great place to take pictures and an Italian stroll and without spending a dime. Don’t miss it. It’s like an art museum. Has a great view of Paris Vegas across the street.Visited February 2020Written March 3, 2020
- Yael G15 contributionsChinese New Year exhibit in full bloomBefore arriving in Las Vegas, I had read about the Chinese New Year exhibit at the Bellagio Hotel. From the description given it looked like a nice thing to do in Las Vegas during the day. I love the Bellagio Hotel, it is decorated with refined taste. Absolutely the beautiful, I smile whenever I step on the property. I am telling you to go see this! I've never seen anything like it! It was stunning, a color feast for the eyes. I spoke to one of the staff who was replacing fresh cut flowers in one part of the exhibit. She told me the exhibit is made from fresh cut flower and silk flowers. I could not tell the difference they were magnificent. The staff member went on to tell me they replace the fresh cut flowers every two days. What a job! There was a little of everything in the exhibit, there was a small fish pond which contained fish and flowering lily pads. There where 2 large mechanical dragons moving to and fro! Being a photographer I was in heaven, there are many photo ops inside and outside the Bellagio Hotel. It is free to enter the Conservatory and I highly recommend seeing this exhibit for the Chinese New Year. I give it a 5 star review!Visited January 2020Written January 23, 2020

- JechtRahlFayetteville, Arkansas24 contributionsAwe inspiring sight at a unfortunate costChristmas time at the Bellagio means an amazing display in their atrium. This year was no different - amazing as always. The only downer is the same downer ever time we visit Vegas; too many people in the way to actually see it. My wife and I have a general rule when we visit installations in Vegas: You get 2-3 seconds to snap your picture then get out of the way. We do this so everyone can have the same experience we do but alas...this never happens with anyone else. Be prepared for throws of people pushing and shoving to get into the area and then many more doing pose after pose taking up space with large and small families so that they can get the pictures they want when they want them. I would suggest possible a security detachment at the atrium to funnel people along that pause for too long to film a movie for their visit. If you need more than a few seconds to take photos...perhaps book a private viewing for some cash?Visited December 2019Written January 6, 2020

- rayLas Vegas, Nevada94 contributionsThis place is awesome! This atrium is filled with vast quantities of colorful flowers and plants that are arranged according to various themes. The current display features objects associated with the Zodiac 2020 Year of the Rat. The display changes every 3 months so even if you have been here before, you can stop by again & again to see a different theme. The area is almost serene as pedestrians meander along various walkways creating memories and taking selfies. The atrium is small and the crowds move along quickly so if your group is not interested in botanical gardens, it will be a quick and interesting diversion before you go outside to watch the fountain display, which starts daily at 3:00pm. Each time we visit, there has been a wedding party, a surprise proposal, or family celebration taking place. A kinda fun place for the entire family.Visited February 2020Written March 8, 2020

I can't believe I have been missing this stunning attraction all these years. I was there for the Fall display (Sept 2021) numerous times over my 3 days. My favorite time was early in the morning, 7am with the sunlight streaming through the glass roof and hardly anyone there. It's gets busier as the day goes on with a lot of people taking videos/pictures.Visited September 2021Written September 29, 2021

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden always have beautiful offerings. My favorite time to visit is during Christmas because no one does it better than they do. It's small though, I wish they'd increase the size to twice what it currently is.
I went this spring and it was nice, I think a Chinese garden was the theme but not as beautiful as some of their previous exhibitions. It was crowded (which it ALWAYS is) so you'll have to wait awhile to get a pic without a lot of people in the background. At times, I didn't even have to walk as generally the wave of people move you along. Every time I stopped to look at a plant, someone stepped in front of me to pose for a picture or selfie in front of the plants.
Try going early in the morning as soon as they open so you'll have time to enjoy it without people stepping all over you or jumping in front of the plants to pose for pics. .

This is called a conservatory and botanical garden. It’s pretty but not as impressive as the guidebooks claim. If you’ve ever visited a real botanical garden, you won’t be impressed. It was pretty but smaller than I was expecting. The displays change with the seasons. During my visit, the theme was Chinese New Year. The displays at first seem to be like the Rose Bowl parade, i.e. elaborate “sculptures” made of thousands of flowers. But when you get close, you realize they are all silk. It makes sense; the parade floats are meant to last for a couple of days whereas these have to last for a couple of months. But still, it was kind of a let down. I wouldn’t call this a “must-see”, but it’s free and so it’s worth the 15 minutes you’ll spend here.

Themed by month or season, the Bellagio Conservatory is a visual masterpiece. Colorful, bright, and stunning are the best ways to describe each display. I make it a point to arrive early each morning to watch the botanists work on the flowers.

Hotel Bellagio is pet friendly! We didn’t see any dogs in the conservatory. Definitely check with the hotel before bringing any dogs in this high tourist populated area. If the dog isn’t a certified emotional support dog, or a service pet, I wouldn’t recommend bringing him/her to the conservatory.

I read somewhere that you have to over 18 or be a hotel guest if you want to enter the Bellagio. I would like to take my kids to see the conservatory though we won’t be staying there. Is it possible?
