Amazing inexpensive getaway from the hussle and bussle of the Las Vegas Trip. The South Rim Grand Canyon tour included plenty of stops to use the restroom, grab food, and take pictures on the way to and from the park. The tour guide who I regrettably forget the name of was an incredibly knowledgeable man with decades of trucking and tour experience. If visiting the Grand Canyon is not already on your bucket list, it should be. For less than $100 the trip also includes pickup from hotels on the strip, views of the Hoover Dam, and a meal voucher. The bus is spacious with large windows, a restroom, outlets, and video screens. For the solo travelers, I felt safe the entire time going alone on this trip and was not worried about losing my belongings as the guide remained on the bus during the majority of the stops. I would also recommend this trip for family friendly fun for those with kids visiting Las Vegas. All in all, 10/10.

We travelled on 28th of December to Grand Canyon South Rim. The driver-cum-guide was very responsible and kept us updated about the weather of GC. He was watching the camera feed of the park and made sure we reached on time to see the glimpse of the Canyon. It was snowing and raining and he made sure we left the mountain before sunset to avoid slippery roads.
Overall a very nice trip and we were lucky enough to catch a small glimpse of the Canyon but was welcomed by snow and snowfall which was very mesmerizing for us.

It truly was a great experience! So glad I had the opportunity to go. The bus provided minimal leg room but served its purpose. When we arrived at the Canyon the views were unbelievable, looked just like a post card. Absolutely beautiful. It was also fun learning about the Hualapai tribe too. I purchased the skywalk which wasn’t necessary. We waited in line for a hour probably more to get on, just for them to take a picture and then had to run because we had to be back at the bus at a specific time(the wait in line took up most of the time). Sadly they don’t print out the pictures, you have to go on a website to print it out yourself-couldn’t take our own pic because they don’t allow you to go on the skywalk with your cellphone. Would have been nice to get a printed copy and also have access to the web pic as well for $25.00, any who🫤. Our bus driver was so nice and knowledgeable about the history of Vegas which was interesting in which he added a little humor too. His mic didn’t work properly so it made it hard for folks in the back of the bus to hear him🤷🏽♀️ but I was sitting in the front so we heard everything. Overall we had a great time. Got lots of cool pics and now able to check this off the bucket list✅
💦Oh and if your wondering how we liked the Hoover Dam it was nice too but we didn’t stay long. We had to get back!

1. Bus arrived late at Luxor Hotel pickup. Supposed to be at 0640 Hrs
2. No water nor box breakfast for a 12 hour bus tour. Bus PA system was down so those of us sitting behind could not hear anything throughout the tour.
3. Those of us going on the helicopter tour of the Canyon missed lunch that was supposed to be provided at the Skywalk restaurant because we had to catch the flight at 1300Hrs. Others who were not, had a leisurely time.
4. After the flight, not much time to take the shuttle bus to both Eagle point and Guyano Point. We were practically running from 1 place to another.
5. Informed tour guide that those on the flight had no time to get our lunch. Chris said that he would get back to us on the lunch refund. He never did!
6. Reached Hoover Dam at 1700 Hrs. Too dark to see anything!
7. At the end of the tour, Chris was holding his tip jar at the exit door! We still gave. Regretted it!

On behalf of everyone at Gray Line we are sorry for missing your expectations. That said, we do believe that you have mixed up amenities from different sightseeing companies in your head. For instance, Gray Line does not offer a "box breakfast", but another company does at a different price point. We are sorry for the late pickup, however when you work around the busiest tourism corridor in the world delays do on occasion happen, usually due to unscheduled road works, heavier than normal morning traffic on difficulty locating guests at a previous pickup points. We are sorry that this impacted your day and we are sorry if you felt rushed at the Grand Canyon. In closing, I want to wish you all the best in your future travel experiences.

Photographing the Grand Canyon and admiring the majesty of God. The way the hills and mountains are painted with vivid colors and the nature was all around us. I won’t buy the Skywalker ticket next time, I didn’t realize that it was just a tourist trap that you don’t get to really enjoy. But, I did enjoy the photos they took and bought the eight of me and 20 of the Grand Canyon for $50.00. The food was okay and the menu was less than desirable! But the driver was great and I was the only single on the bus so I ended up in the front seat. Overalls it was five stars for me.

The trip itself was great but there are some things that could have been improved. The online directions were not very clear and multiple people were standing around at the hotel worried that they were in the wrong place. My email said to look for “Gray Line” but that wasn’t the name of the bus. The email also said, “Underground Tour Lobby” and that’s not what it’s called on the sign. The lunch provided was great and our first driver was AWESOME. Our driver knew a lot of facts about the Hoover Dam, the terrain, and history of Vegas and areas we drove through. Halfway through the drive back to Vegas the drivers had to change out and the new person was rude and even snapped at people who were still trying to get their food from the restaurant we stopped at for dinner. This was not only unprofessional but multiple people on the bus couldn’t speak English very well and so it was confusing for everyone. She was rushing around and it felt like we were an inconvenience. That may not have been the case but it felt that way. Overall the trip was a lot of fun and the Grand Canyon was awesome but there were things that could have been better. Also the restroom on the bus didn’t work.

Guano point was beautiful, we spent about 2 hours there, I would skip eagle point unless you were planning on doing the sky walk which I don’t believe is worth the money.
Our driver Rod was wonderful & very knowledgeable.
We included breakfast which was from subway and was better than I thought it would be my husband & I got the bacon egg & cheese sandwich with chips & a drink. Lunch we had at guano point (included) choice of broiled chicken thigh sandwich or pulled pork sandwich with corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, gravy, we got one of each and both were very good.
I would recommend this tour if you can’t do the longer south rim tour but they are both good but south rim is better in my opinion

We booked a "tour" of Hoover Dam from Las Vegas. It took us 3 hours to get there from our hotel. Hoover Dam is only 37 miles from Vegas. It was 90 degrees that day and the bus driver could not operate the air conditioning. Twice he pulled over on the main highway to try and put the air conditioning on. We were charged $77/each for this "tour". This was nothing more than a shuttle. When we realized we were not getting the tour that the dam offers, we tried to pay for the tour, but could not because the tour is approximately 40 minutes long. We would have missed the bus back to Vegas. We wasted 4 hours total on a bus to spend 1 hour at the dam. There is not entrance fee charged to enter the dam. So we basically paid $77/each to sit on a sweltering bus for 4 hours. When I called to complain to Gray Lines, they told me I had to write an email, which I did. I have never received a response.

We do have our coaches maintained to the highest industry levels, yet on occasion mechanical equipment just does not always perform as expected. We are sorry that this impacted your day. Our tour guide was very kind, built good rapport with each family/group in our tour (54 people) and informative. He also gave us plenty of time to view West Rim a Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Stoped for snacks and restroom drinks.

I went to the grand canton with my girlfriend, using Gray Line, they took us from the hotel and at the end drove us back . Everything was organized and excellent!
The tour guide Fill was great ! He drove safe and he provide as all information that we need to know , also told us great stories about the history of the area .
I highly recommend.

t depends on where you are being picked up- they should tell ou when ou sign up and you tell them what your pickup point will be. We stayed at Planet Hollywood and our pickup was at Area Casino Hotel across the street- the told us to be there at 6:30 am and did not show up until 7:30am.

Grayline bus. But be prepared for the massive ‘up-sell’ before you board.
All the tour groups get taken into a big room to listen to a man (try and be funny) and try to get us to pay extra to do extra. Like buying the front seat on the bus for $25, or a smaller private bus for an extra $100, helicopter rides, rim walk etc.
Be prepared, the food at the venues is pretty bad!
We just got the stock standard tour and loved the canyon- great views and plenty of time there with a stop by the Hoover Dam.

Here is my review. I am still trapped at The Grand Canyon West Rim. Your thoughts on my situation and your sharp practices would be interesting to hear.
Here is how our day has gone. They were late to pick up. Late to take us out. Prior to that they asked if we wanted to upgrade to a smaller coach, and get back quicker. which we did and charged us extra. It turns out they were overbooked and after we had signed up they offered the same up grade for half the price to the next people. Very dishonest practice.
Then believe it or not it gets worse. The coach wouldn’t go over 20mph on gradients and was obviously not fit for purpose. We were actually overtaken by the original coach. We were at least an hour late on our schedule. The driver strangely enough was actually quite vague on what our schedule was.
The driver was contacted by the office in a conversation that we could all hear three times because they knew there was a problem but ignored his duty of care and said he would carry on even though it was obvious to everybody that something was wrong.
So here it is, as I write this review I am trapped at the West Rim Grand Canyon park office with 13 stranded people. No bus has been sent, the office are being secretive about when and if we are being picked up. The driver is just denying any culpability, but has offered to drive us back in an obviously unsuitable vehicle which none of us (we didn’t know each other before this) will re enter.
If you do one clever thing in your life, don’t book with this company. I hope this isn’t my last ever review.....

The South tim has the best photo opportunities with two main locations. It is further than the West Rim but is definitely worth it. Not sure about the terrain but it is tough going down and coming back up.

The jeeps do have an overhead cover. If you visit in October you should be fine. I have been in Las Vegas in December and only find it mildly cool. Bring a sweater - just in case.
