Well, the bus driver (Rob) and tour guide (Anthony) were fantastic! They both did a wonderful job. My issue was with the planning of the tour and promises that were not met. We went to the Grand canyon and for some reason they changed where we were to go first, Eagle point then Guano point to Guano then Eagle so by the time we arrived at Eagle point the line to get our meal was 2 hours wait time. We did not get our meal and had to paid $50 for a meal at the quick food place. Also, some things were not open (ranch, the cafe at Guano point) that messed things up. When reserving my tickets online their was no mention that things would be closed or that the native americans were working with just a skeleton crew. If Gray Line knew about this and possibly knew customers would not get a chance for lunch, don't include it in the price. I feel I was ripped off on top of paying extra for our lunches. Definitely will not use the tour bus again, sad to say as the staff were very apologetic and tried to make up for these inconveniences.

Dear Bodolicious, Thank you for being a Gray Line customer and bringing your concerns to our attention. It is unfortunate that you experienced some disruptions of the normal services at Grand Canyon West. At this area of the Canyon, reservations are not required for individuals or groups wishing to visit this spectacular location and on rare occasions visitor numbers can exceed forecasted expectations. The Hualapai Nation, the native American tribe whose land the West Rim in on, uses both historical information as well as well as information from tourism authorities in Nevada & Arizona to try to forecast visitors. Normally, this works quite well, however the pandemic has made forecasting less accurate. We are sorry that this affected your enjoyment of the day. Additionally, due to day-to-day situations in how the COVID-19 situation affects staff, this too in some instances can affect staff in very remote locations. On behalf of everyone at Gray Line around the globe, we wish you only the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, Zachary

Thought the tour would be havock with a 23 month old and 7 month old. Trip was actually easy becuase of the stops and the driver "The Coach" narrated the tour superb. Would recommend even if you have small ones. FYI...you can take baby stollers on the undercarriage of the bus.

Today we took a bus tour with Irene to the Grand Canyon. The bus was great, the drive was pleasant and the entertainment was more than expected. She kept everyone on the bus involved in her conversation and was informative on Vegas/Grand Canyon trivia as well as how to best navigate the Canyon’s activities. The added stop at the Joshua trees and pointing out the Hoover dam on the way back, was a welcome bonus! Thanks Irene for a great trip!!....another one for the scrapbook.

Deliberately withheld the time that we would return back from the trip which ended up being around 22.30. This meant that our day was over 16hrs long. Instead of saving time by taking us straight to the Canyon they first took us to their visitor center where they attempted to sell us the worst and most overpriced food imaginable. This is when they told us what time we would be back and then offered us a shorter trip for $30 more. They told us that this is when they normally tell people the time they are due back from their trip.

This was clearly an attempt to extract more money from an already expensive trip. On the way to the canyon, they stopped several times most of which were unnecessary and wasted more of our time in order to sell us things.

However, the coach driver was very helpful and friendly and was the only good thing Gray Line provided us with. Would recommend looking around for another company to visit what was otherwise an excellent attraction.

Dear Safari00687886290, I want to thank you for being a Gray Line customer and leaving us feedback. We make no secret of the fact that a day trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon makes for a very long day as it is more than 570 miles (917 kilometers) round trip from Las Vegas, which is the closest large city to the National Park. We are proud to hear that you enjoyed our driver/guide as Gray Line has been seeking out great & friendly guides since our founding in 1910. And today we have professional, helpful and friendly guides at more than 400 locations that we have spread across 6 continents...and everyone at those locations hope to see you on another sightseeing tour sometime soon. Sincerely, Zachary

Our driver was Danny Ho. This man was incredible, he explained everything in detail with appropriate repetitions and details of where to go and what to do. He was helpful, patient and understanding of all the needs of his passengers. We changed hotels so he graciously took us back to the Wynn on our return from the Grand Canyon. When we got off my wife noticed that she had forgot her glasses in the minibus. We called Grayline, they called Danny in his vehicle and he came back with her glasses. We are delighted with all the people at Grayline and especially Danny.

We did the West Rim Tour yesterday, it was fabulous. Sam our driver was fantastic, we had amazing weather and the canyon was everything I had hoped. We booked this directly on the website as we were offered this tour at much higher prices from street vendors. Book the skywalk, it's worth every penny. You can't take your own photos on the skywalk but the photographer took some great pictures so we bought them, not cheap but amazing memories.

Amazing inexpensive getaway from the hussle and bussle of the Las Vegas Trip. The South Rim Grand Canyon tour included plenty of stops to use the restroom, grab food, and take pictures on the way to and from the park. The tour guide who I regrettably forget the name of was an incredibly knowledgeable man with decades of trucking and tour experience. If visiting the Grand Canyon is not already on your bucket list, it should be. For less than $100 the trip also includes pickup from hotels on the strip, views of the Hoover Dam, and a meal voucher. The bus is spacious with large windows, a restroom, outlets, and video screens. For the solo travelers, I felt safe the entire time going alone on this trip and was not worried about losing my belongings as the guide remained on the bus during the majority of the stops. I would also recommend this trip for family friendly fun for those with kids visiting Las Vegas. All in all, 10/10.

*Side note: Customer service was very easy to reach and responsive with questions and updates.

We booked a "tour" of Hoover Dam from Las Vegas. It took us 3 hours to get there from our hotel. Hoover Dam is only 37 miles from Vegas. It was 90 degrees that day and the bus driver could not operate the air conditioning. Twice he pulled over on the main highway to try and put the air conditioning on. We were charged $77/each for this "tour". This was nothing more than a shuttle. When we realized we were not getting the tour that the dam offers, we tried to pay for the tour, but could not because the tour is approximately 40 minutes long. We would have missed the bus back to Vegas. We wasted 4 hours total on a bus to spend 1 hour at the dam. There is not entrance fee charged to enter the dam. So we basically paid $77/each to sit on a sweltering bus for 4 hours. When I called to complain to Gray Lines, they told me I had to write an email, which I did. I have never received a response.

Dear Daydream751724, Thank you for booking with Gray Line and we are sorry that we missed your sightseeing expectations and we are especially sorry for the issues you encountered with the coach's a/c system. We do have our coaches maintained to the highest industry levels, yet on occasion mechanical equipment just does not always perform as expected. We are sorry that this impacted your day. We are also looking into why your driver/guide did not provide professional tour narration on your trip and that is something that we will investigate and fix with immediate effect. In closing, I want to once again apologize for the issues you experienced and I want to wish you all the best in your future travel experiences. Sincerely, Zachary

It truly was a great experience! So glad I had the opportunity to go. The bus provided minimal leg room but served its purpose. When we arrived at the Canyon the views were unbelievable, looked just like a post card. Absolutely beautiful. It was also fun learning about the Hualapai tribe too. I purchased the skywalk which wasn’t necessary. We waited in line for a hour probably more to get on, just for them to take a picture and then had to run because we had to be back at the bus at a specific time(the wait in line took up most of the time). Sadly they don’t print out the pictures, you have to go on a website to print it out yourself-couldn’t take our own pic because they don’t allow you to go on the skywalk with your cellphone. Would have been nice to get a printed copy and also have access to the web pic as well for $25.00, any who🫤. Our bus driver was so nice and knowledgeable about the history of Vegas which was interesting in which he added a little humor too. His mic didn’t work properly so it made it hard for folks in the back of the bus to hear him🤷🏽‍♀️ but I was sitting in the front so we heard everything. Overall we had a great time. Got lots of cool pics and now able to check this off the bucket list✅
💦Oh and if your wondering how we liked the Hoover Dam it was nice too but we didn’t stay long. We had to get back!
💥Thanks Gray Line Las Vegas for getting us there and back safely!

Lovely time with an experienced tour guide driver Danny Ho. He was kind, joyful and took great care of all his passengers.

I've seen a lot of negative reviews about long waiting times for lunch and it wasn't the case for any of us. I would indeed attribute to the fact everyone was on time in the morning and everyone followed Danny's suggestion to that 1st thing. It worked for us although we decided to take time to dine in. If you ask To-Go you will have even more time to spare. Just listen and follow instructions. I can see this won't always work as it's one restaurant serving thousands of people a day-timing is key.

It was our 1st time booking a West Rim Grand Canyon tour. Customer service was great. This is a jawdropping experience everyone should do at least once. I absolutely recommend!
