just a tip - non-US citizens bring your passports for entry. Doorman and manager wouldn't accept a UK license as ID. Can't accurately rate as we didn't make it in the door, but wanted to warn those who want to go.

Light Night Club is a multi level venue, with VIP bottle service, a great dance floor, and some of the hottest performances on the Las Vegas strip.

My friends and I were here for the 1st time for Rick Ross event this past weekend and these people discriminate. We were with friends in the VIP area and were asked to leave due to us being "Big Girls". For the staff to be acting this way was really unprofessional. We are in the day and age of excepting all kinds of people black, gay, transgender, etc. For this club to be acting this way is wrong. Our friends bought a table with bottle service and our business will never happen again here.

We were there in April , it was horrible. The guy on the door, who claimed that he was the manager, didn't allow us to enter. Just because "he didn't like our ID". Our ID's were official driver's license from Puerto Rico. An no incorporated territory of USA. So, we are United States Citizens. He told us to show him a passport, whom carries the passport in their own country? Is important to know that we were inside two hours before the situation. We showed him the orange bracelet, but it was useless. It was racist. I give one star, because there is no zero. Read about United States History and politics. Educate yourself, racist.

To go to this nightclub is like prison visit to hell. You go through metal detectors, gorilla trained security blokes and less than interested staff to a cave that is dark, loud, hot and intimidating. People scream and bounce to each other like in some kind of trans.

Maybe i was just too old for this but I lasted there only 10 minutes and then I escaped. I am still surprised that I managed to get gout from that black hole that suck all human feelings and dignity of the people and give in return a very short lasting pleasure or less.

Too much, too loud, too expensive. On the other hand, if you prefer loud musics, dark environment, stroboscopic lights and external stimulus then this is right place to you. It requires you to just not think anything, feel anything and just let go of everything. In return you get a night of your life, or nightmare of your life.

I wish I could leave negative stars for this place. I have been going to vegas nightclubs for years now and have never experienced what I did last night. I bought tickets for my girlfriend and I months in advance only to get there and find a massive line. The security guard made us pay him $40 to even get let in with our tickets. Our friend was guest listed and they didn't find her name so she was forced to pay $100 to a different security guard.
We paid to see J cole only to be ripped off even more. After standing in the crowd for over 3 hours, he comes on, performs 4 songs totaling maybe 15-20 mins. Our friend left the dance floor to get us water and was not aloud back on the dance floor with us because they closed it off. They could have at least told her she wouldn't be able to come back.
Overall, this has been my worst experience in vegas. Unless you spend $50k+ on bottle service, expect to be treated like a peasant. By far the worst hospitality that I have EVER received anywhere in my life. An establishment like this should not be in business.
Overall, This is the most unprofessional

Bad, just plain bad. I don't know if we went on a bad night or if this is what it is supposed to be like every night but this place is terrible. We got onto a guest list and were told to be there at 1030pm, we arrived at 1015pm to find the line about 100 people long. We waited in line for about 2 hours, we would have left the line and went somewhere else but they gave us free drink coupons so we decided it would be worth it to wait (WE WERE DECEIVED) once we finally got inside at 1215am we were told by the bartender that our coupons expired at 12am! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! First it does not say they expire at 12am, second, we paid $17 dollars a piece for a shot! UGH! To top it off, we could not even move in this club, we tried to dance but it was like the worst thing ever, we couldn't move due to an overcrowded dance floor where nobody could dance because nobody could move! I almost had to defend myself against some over aggressive men who were invading my space aggressively and pushing me with their butt's into my side, we couldn't even move away because there was nowhere to go. Hard to have fun when you can't dance in a dance club and you're deceived by perks that they don't give. DJ Mustard sucks, he changes songs like underwear. We left after about an hour and went to listen to live music at a small bar just outside the club. Never again.

My actual visit was in August 2013 but I couldn't find the place here to write a review, until now.
I was soooo looking forward to go to Light. The idea of the cirque du soleil performers got our attention so we decided to go.
We bought our tickets in advance but still had to stand in line for like 80 minutes. Entered the line around 10:40pm and entered the club around midnight.
The place was excesively packed and there were hundreds of people still waiting outside to get in.
We found a spot to stand for a while. It was impossible to reach the bathroom nor the bar. The group besides us were pushing us trying to get more space to dance and jump and it was really annoying. I could tell my friend was feeling miserable.
The music was ok. The main dj was supposed to play at 1am. We were there for 40 minutes and never saw a cirque performance.
My friend told me he was leaving since he was not enjoying it so we left. We spent more time waiting outside than what we actually were inside.
I really wanted to enjoy this experince and was looking forward to see the mix between the main dj and cirque du soleil and left even before that started.
We needed drinks to loose ourselves but that didn't happen. All the staff were busy taking care of the tables.
I don't think I'd give it another try. Instead of paying for table service go see an actual cirque show or go to a real concert.

LIGHT Nightclub is a joke! Geeze.... if only ZERO stars were a possible rating I would award this place with it faster than two shakes of a lambs tail.. You see.. I would I have really tried on a few occasions to give them a chance and every time they have drop the ball. There is really no reason why the nightclub can't be just as good as the day pool parties! Complete madness as far as organization is concerned because it always seems that none of the security guards or doormen (whatever they are called) all can't be on the same page when it comes to being knowledgeable on which line to stand in. Just pick a line and help them paint this mirage of a busy nightclub once you get in for you to only be welcomed to an empty club.. DJ hasn't even set up yet type of activity lol No but seriously, You will be lucky if they even have the correct line posts up. (sighs) Anyways....
My most recent experience for Lil' Baby was atrocious! For the price people pay, you would expect for things to run a lot smoother than what they do. Light is in no-way different than any other club here in Las Vegas in the manner that they book and headline these mainstream artists, ONLY for them to not come out until 4AM. The twist with this is that they always expect or require when you have table reservations to be there early as hell (in most cases 11PM) for you to drink up all of your bottles before the artist who is scheduled to perform comes to the stage. Who really wants to stand around or even sit at their table for 5 hours waiting for the scheduled performance? What makes matters worst is that the DJ's love lying about the arrival of the artist. Let's take Lil' Baby performance for example, I kid you not, the DJ said at LEAST 5 times "Lil' Baby in the building y'all he just pulled in"... then 20 minutes later comes back on the mic " Alright y'all get ready for something special he's in the building blah blah blah" ....PAUSE! We aren't that drunk man, you just said that now 10 minutes ago" So you're not only telling stories but you're being deceitful meanwhile.. still... not one person to hit the stage. Yeah I said it.. These clubs all participate in some of the most deceitful sales practices ever known. I'll even take it a step further and say they may be some of the best con artist in the game... But I'll digress.. back to the story... And then... somebody random who is like maybe an upcoming artist will come to the stage to perform and everybody is looking confused like didn't you just say that the person everybody paid to see was in the building and ready to give us this great show? Literally this man came out in the most plain outfit so I know it couldn't have been him getting dressed that caused the tardiness. Perhaps the unmentionable drug use that everyone raps about could've caused the delay so they had fill in artist until they are sober enough to perform...In fact, they had about 3 other irrelevant performances before we even got to see Lil' Baby.

4AM hits and you can just feel the energy levels low because people have been standing around listening to the same songs on rotation from the DJ and alcohol has worn off. Now where are we? Oh yeah!! Standing in the middle of the dance floor, sober as , people booing the DJ lol and probably looking crazy and wondering why on GOD's green earth that you decided to pay $200 to receive a half- you know what performance, consisting of MAYBE 3-4 songs (that aren't the full lengths btw), you know just get the snippets. Just mind boggling.

In conclusion, I have decided that this club most definitely isn't for me.. actually I don't think any nightclub is for me. Don't get me wrong it can be fun for the first few hours but spending 6 hours at a nightclub because you want to wait for an artist to perform is beyond annoying and there are more efficient ways of seeing a performance. I'll stick to actual concerts, pay VIP and buy drinks with a guaranteed real performance...
