The Circus Circus Midway has always been a LV staple for me, ever since I was a kid. Now, we have had the opportunity to take our kids there and it is still just as much fun as it has always been. The games operate on a card system now, but still seemed to be reasonable priced overall (arcade games were mostly the equivalent of $1 or less, the carnival prize type games were typically $2 or less - I say “or less” because you get extra credits when you spend over $30 at a time, making the games cheaper per play). The free circus acts in the middle of the Midway are still entertaining for kids as well. One advantage of Circus Circus not being one of the new glamorous Vegas hotels is that the parking is still free, which is another plus. If you’re expecting luxury, don’t go to the Circus Circus Midway. But if you are looking for some old school arcade fun that’s especially great for kids, this is one of my favourite spots anywhere.

Had a lot of fun on the games but didnt like that you had to top up a card to play on the machines. This sometimes wouldnt work but still took credits off the card so we ended up wasting money. The prizes are also quite small for what you have to pay. Still a lot of fun though and we enjoyed the free acts. We always vist here when we come to Vegas.

Did we spend $80 for 8 stuffed animals? Yes, yes we did. Was it worth it? Yes, yes it was. My kids had so much fun hammering stuffed chickens into giant pots and tossing balls into baskets and almost winning claw machine games.

This use to be such a nice place to visit years ago. My buddy had never been to it and so we stopped and it was miserable. Most of the games had nobody working, the cost of the games are high and it just felt like death while there. We also watched what we thought would be an interesting circus, it was just one act that took less than 7 minutes from start to finish. Never again.

Don't let the outside "dump" appearance fool you, it's worth stopping in. It's a throw back to the 80's, with arcades, rides, and all kinds of fun. Even Vince Neil :-P But if you have kids, the Circus is where you need to go!
