Our server (Tommy H) was very pleasant and have a good grasp of the menu. He great recommendations and was able to give detailed descriptions of food and drinks we ordered. The food wasn’t the greatest; I ordered the Half Rack of Ribs and my wife ordered the NY Strip Steak both were average at best. I would recommend the brisket nachos as an appetizer which would go great if you are just enjoying some drinks at the bar (bring your appetite cause the portion is quite large). I gave this review a 4 out of 5 because even if the food was not up to pair, the quick and attentive service we received tonight was top notch!

Concert was great—got to see the legendary Santana perform, and all band members were high energy. Bought ticket online and said it started at 7 pm. What it meant was that the line to get in started at 7 pm, and I had bought a general admission ticket (went solo), so that meant I was in the standing room only section. I stood in line and at the concert for over 3 hours.

Food and drink were great, but Tracee really put the visit over the top for us. Her vibe and energy was electric and she made my wedding party feel like the only guests in the place. When we found out she had only been there for a couple weeks we were truly blown away by her knowledge and confidence. Thanks Tracee! We all got down at MJ after dinner heee hee!

I have been to many House of Blues locations for Rock shows and have sat in the balcony seating. Typically, everyone in the section is standing up, dancing, and enjoying the show. I have NEVER had any issues with this in the past. Admittedly, sometimes it is frustrating when you have purchased a seat and have people standing in front of you, but in my opinion, this is not a Broadway performance, it's a rock concert. However, this particular House of Blues does not subscribe to that thinking. We had front row balcony seats and were so excited. We stood up momentarily when the band came on stage, and security immediately came down to tell us that if we wanted to stand during the rock concert, we had to go down into the general admission pits. They were not necessarily rude, but certainly not friendly either. I was shocked by this. Not wanting to violate the rules, we complied, left our very expensive seats vacant for the evening, and went down into the general admission pit. Had I known that would have been the case, I could have saved myself a lot of money and purchased general admission tickets in the first place. I looked up numerous times throughout the show, and sure enough, not a single soul was standing in the balconies, so security was definitely enforcing the rules. If that is their policy, fine, but it would be nice for that to have been listed on their website so that a consumer can be informed. Interestingly, their website specifically says the venue is built for dancing and rocking out. I traveled all the way from Richmond, VA to Vegas for the sole purpose of seeing this show, expecting to be able to enjoy my evening, which typically includes standing from time to time to cheer at a rock concert. The venue itself was fine, but this was incredibly disappointing and a waste of money.

Hello, For safety reasons, we do require the front row balcony seats to sit during the show due to the proximity to the railing. Our sincere apologies this was not specified prior to your ticket purchase. Thanks, House of Blues Las Vegas

I was hoping to say "You are the man Santana!" Unfortunately, the concert was one hour late, too many fillers such as drum solos, disorganized entrance to the venue and very few hits that you are known for. This was definitely not worth the huge expense of traveling to Vegas to see you. Extremely disappointed!

They sold us $400.00 tickets for VIP seating and qe qerw told the seats were 35 ft from the stage. This was a total lie. You could hardly see the stage, it was more like 75 ft. The general admission were standing directly behind me. I could feel their breath. In addition the 2 other people sat directly in front of your table for 4 so that obstructed the view. All I can say us dont purchase VIP, its a rip off

The food was sooo good!!! The food is a little pricey but it is all worth it! The quality and flavor of the food is fantastic. The service is better than ever and the waiter, named August Clark, consistently ask if everything is great or it I need anything! And this isn’t the first time my mom and I ate here, it’s our second the first time we came the smokehouse was so good with brisket, half a chicken, and a half rack of baby back ribs and there wasn’t anything my mom and I didn’t like. I highly recommend this place if you’ve never been here the food is PERFECTTT!!

They run a special from 7 AM till Noon, 2 eggs, hash browns, and bacon or sausage for $12.99. You need to buy a drink to get this price, but at $4 for a bottomless cup of coffee, or soda, it was worth it. The star of the experience was the thick cut bacon, it was some of the best bacon I have ever had. Our server (David) was great, nice atmosphere, good coffee, and a great breakfast.

My husband and I ate at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach about a year ago and ever since then I've dreamed about having a bowl of their gumbo again. Recently I had the opportunity to eat at the Las Vegas location and the gumbo did not disappoint. Both my son and sister got the mac and cheese skillet and the street corn. I tried some of my son's mac and cheese and the corn. Both were very good, however in order to get the best flavor of the mac and cheese you had to dig down to the bottom layer. The gumbo was great, especially after I had it heated up a bit, since by the time it got to the table it wasn't very hot. Prices, in my opinion, were kind of high (the bowl of gumbo was nine bucks), but I guess it's in line with the branding.
