Vickie and Evan provided an extraordinary experience into food, fun, and history with this tour. As a professional tour guide, I thought I "knew everything" about Las Vegas and yet Vickie's exhaustive but entertaining commentary kept me riveted to her dialogue every minute. They are friendly, interested in each member of the group, witty and it was overall an excellent adventure. We finished at Container Park in Las Vegas, something I'd been wanting to see and I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They have now started a new tour focusing on old Las Vegas steakhouses - for a Bite of Las Vegas history - and a thoroughly entertaining and reasonably priced evening, please book your tour now. You will not regret it!

a perfect food tour:. Everything was so well organised and interesting. The amazing food was separated by interesting historical facts. Just perfect. We sampled everything from beef jerky, vegan food, Mediterranean delights, Popsicles, raw juices... do not eat before the tour! We ended up going back for dinner to the raw / vegan restaurant which was sooooo delicious. A great tour. I've been recommending it to other guests since. Laura

This is a food and culture tour of down town Las Vegas. This is not the Strip, it is Fremont Street and the few blocks around it which make up the cultural and culinary heart of old Las Vegas. You will learn how Las Vegas was founded and by whom, it's history including the Mob, the Mormons, and the Railroads. There are 6 food stops ranging from a jerky store (not what you would expect) to a popsicle store and including an organic farm fresh juices smoothies and soups bar, a mediterranean food restaurant, and a wholesome food restaurant. Our guide who started the company was excellent. We have done many food tours in many cities including New York and this can stand up to any of them.

I don't know where to start. Renee was actually really nice and informative so that wasn't the problem. The issue was the food choices! We were told it would be 4 stops and we would basically have a full course meal. For $115/person, I'm sure that was the intent.. it started great with pot roast at our meeting place. We thought it would get better from there but it only got worse. We went to a bar in container park where 1. The music outside was ridiculously loud so we couldn't really hear each other talk or ask questions about the area, 2. The bar didn't do Canadian Whiskey so we didn't drink any, and 3. We were served some ridiculous sandwiches (hot cheetos, apple, and fig...) on hoagie bread. I almost wouldn't have been upset about this had we started here but it wasn't the best choice when compared to the pot roast. The next (and last stop) was at a Mexican place. We had flatuas that were dry as the desert itself and chips with nasty Salsa.. not one person in my 6 person party liked it. The guacamole, churros, and ice cream was the best thing about this joint. For $115 I would expect better food choices with quality food. The Mexican spot was not it! Additionally, it would be nice if the tour company focused on foods and choices not common to everywhere else. I literally can get Mexican food anywhere..IJS.

As I stated Renee was very courteous and took us through Fremont Street so that was the plus. We was hungry when we finished tho...

So, I was supposed to have a downtown food tour, it was cancelled and somehow I didn't receive the msg. So I was bumped to a more expensive tour on the strip. Thank you! Went to 3 restaurants and sampled small plates. Those were all good. My complaints are: don't want to touch and share bread and 1 plate of olive oil/vinegar for table with double dipping going on. Don't want to go to stores in the mall where free samples are given and call it special. I can do that on my own. And then there was pressure to buy. Not thrilled with the experience. Will try one more time elsewhere , hope they are not all like this.

Hi Sue, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience. Every guest's experience is truly important to us and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. As you mentioned, due to scheduling conflicts, you received a complimentary upgrade from our $79 Downtown Las Vegas Foodie Tour to our lunchtime $149 Las Vegas Foodie Walk on the strip at no additional cost. Thanks so much for acknowledging this gesture, you are very welcome. We believe food tours are an opportunity to be adventurous. So with the exception of the bread offered to the table, I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed the food tastings at all of our partner restaurants on your tour. We realize that every item offered may not be of interest to every guest, so we design our tours to provide plenty of food and a variety of tastings. I hope you experienced and enjoyed some of the common items we feature on the Las Vegas Foodie Walk such as the burrata caprese, fresh made pasta meatballs or pesto ravioli, corn tamale, black bean empanada, quinoa fritter, chips and salsa trio, Gordon Ramsey's famous poutine with corned beef, and my favorite, the date toffee cake with ice cream and carmel sauce. As for the tour of the Grand Canal Shops, I apologize that you did not enjoy our two bonus shopping stops. The cookie company we visit does provide free sample to regular guests, however for our guests they do an extensive in store sampling not available to the general public and offer a 15% VIP discount. Each of our guests also receives a gift bag of 4-5 full size hand-dipped shortbread cookies (a $10 value). As for our infused liquor and small batch oil and vinegar gourmet shop, they do allow regular customers one sample before a purchase. Our guests receive a personal tour, education on infusions, and are welcome to unlimited samplings, including alcohol, with no obligation to purchase. With that said, we bring our guests to these specialty shops because we love them and for the experience the shops provide and we would never want anyone to feel pressured. The this the first time any of our guests have ever mentioned feeling pressured and we will continue to work together with our partner shops to ensure our guests a welcome and comfortable experience. I hope I have addressed your concerns Sue. Our team is small, and we genuinely do our best everyday to provide a 5 star experience. I am very sorry that even though you enjoyed much of your tour, you did not feel your experience was five star worthy. Please contact us directly at your convenience and I promise we will do whatever we can to accommodate you. Sincerely, Jodi Philippson

I recommend the food tours. Our guide was great at giving us fun interesting info. She took us to container Park loved the little shops and restaurants there and I would definitely go back. One of the highlights was stopping at the Flock and Fowl.(I believe I have the name correct) they had great wings,a tasty rice dish and frozen dessert that was yummy. When I return to Vegas I would definitely take another food tour.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your downtown tour with us. The skillet pot roast is my favorite too! Downtown is such a unique "off-the-strip" experience and we really pride ourselves on giving a great tour with trivia, history and the best off the beaten path sightseeing! Please come back and join us on our Las Vegas Strip tour in the Venetian, Pallazo, and Wynn.

Love love love this food tour! I've been on several food tours and I can honestly say this is one of my favorites! Vicki did an AMAZING job of picking perfect restaurants and telling us about the history of downtown Las Vegas! Would honestly do this again! It was a perfect birthday present!
