Fun evening with the Phat Pack in the renovated showroom at the Union Plaza on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. This male threesome features fabulous voices and interesting personal stories. They can sing everything, but focus on Broadway tunes and some very funny compositions of their own. What's not to enjoy when listening to the 6 year former lead in the Las Vegas production of "Phantom of the Opera", one of the former leads from "Forever Plaid" and a fabulous tenor from the Broadway road show of "Les Miserables"?

To date, we've seen the Phat Pack six times!!!! And it never gets old! If anything, it gets better as you begin to know the personalities of the three super-talented performers. Thank you for bringing your talents together for this terrific show.

Wonderful voices. These guys like to sing, and explain how they got to where they are today. Very entertaining for my wife and I (50's) and our youngest daughter (20's). Waiting for them to find another home showroom soon.

Content was hard to follow...they would be on track when a several minute presentation on each of them with a Broadway song in between...I could never follow what direction they were going...i think just a simple tribute to Mom from each of them would have been enough. During the Carolinian's beautiful solo at the end at pianissimo...the marketing team was in the back talking for most of the song right by our table of ten..and when we asked them to stop so we could here this tender song...they did not and just gave us a nasty glare...that type of rudeness by a promoter that doesnt have the sense to know how rude and obnoxious this was to customers was comical. The production was next to nothing but the showroom had a nice view. It was dimmed by packed in restaurant style and quality of furniture. The showroom waitress was very friendly. The songs were well-written and they wrote a generic holiday song that was funny but it was because the performers said they "didnt know the audience" and were afraid to throw in even one traditional Christmas tune apparently...I was really disappointed with that. I give a lot of credit to the performers for their professionalism, polish and enthusiasm...they did a lot with what they were given to work with. I cant recommend this to others and wouldnt attend the show again; 2 people left midstream in our area and 2 other patrons in a booth (the only one in the showroom I guess) were too busy yacking it up w each other to even know what was going on...not the type of show where the performers were background music because it was very small and u missed the show if anyone was talking during the performance. They should stick w an all-music format showcasing their vocal talents in my opinion..the theatre portion was a bit hokey. Btw they are now at Ballys starting today.

This is one of my all-time favorite shows in Vegas! I've seen it three times so far - and look forward to going again. The only problem - it doesn't last long enough! I could sit and listen to these three fabulous voices all night. This is proof that if you assemble the right talent and the right music, you don't need 50 dancers, 100 contortionists, and crazy lighting to have a totally engaging, entertaining show!
This is the show I recommend when asked what to see during a visit and bring all my friends to it when they're in town. Reasonably priced, fun old-Vegas style showroom, and with a five o'clock start, you still have plenty of time for dinner and more fun!

This is an absolutely fantastic show!!! Original and classic musical theater pieces, I laughed I cried, it was better than... well you know. It was so cool to see a 5:00pm show and then go to dinner and still have the night to check out the cool places on Freemont Street. The theater at The PLAZA Casino has a warm intimate setting and these super stars were so kind. They greeted the audience after the show and even took pictures. What a fabulous evening!

I loved every minute of this wonderful show. Wonderful stories, fantastic songs, incredible voices. This is what Vegas used to be back in the day, and it is what is sorely missed there now. The spectacles are triumphs of special effects but the Phat Pack is a triumph of talent. This and "Million Dollar Quartet" are the best entertainment and they just happen to not be X-rated! That's not to say that both aren't sexy - it's just not the naked and salacious kind! I plan to see both again and bring my friends on my next trip - I love introducing people to shows that make them happy and that they remember for the rest of their lives!

Las Vegas is teeming with multi-million dollar spectacles that entertain and astound the audience at every turn. But what is missing in these grand productions is the ability to identify with the performers, feel a connection, and leave with a deeper and more intimate emotional experience than simply having been amazed.

This past weekend we had the privilege of seeing “The Phat Pack” at the Plaza Hotel & Casino. This is a musically and emotionally brilliant show that has the audience laughing, tearing up, and nodding in agreement with these “men of a certain age” as they share about their musical journeys and sing from the depths of their souls. The simplicity of the production…just 3 incredible vocalists and an equally impressive pianist…is what makes it so magical. Without elaborate special effects, the purity and clarity of their superb voices and their genuine, heart-felt interpretations of each song really shine. Whether singing solo or sharing the stage with intricate harmonies, these men are very, very talented! When the show was over, I found myself wishing it was intermission (we had those back east…intermissions…it’s like a little bathroom break ½ way through a show) as I could have listened and enjoyed this show for another 70 minutes.

I would highly recommend “The Phat Pack!” They perform Wednesday through Sunday at 5:00 p.m. For more information, go to http://www.phatpackshow.com/.

My wife and I joined three of my friends along with their wives for an evening to enjoy wholesome entertainment; these three guys made it happen! This intimate showroom is designed for this type of act with luxurious seats and nothing blocking the view of the stage from anywhere in the room. The blend of the voices accented by the periodic vocal solos resulted in our group going through a full range of emotions from tears of reminiscence to tears from 'belly laughs' throughout the performance. It was great to share a walk down memory lane with these three musicians as they sang songs from the shows we have seen over the past 30 years.

Thus show makes you think you are ready watching Sinatra, etc. Singers are good, songs perfectly selected, fun for all.
