The small specialty museum might not have impressed were it not for the energy and enthusiasm of the docent, Jeffery. He knew the history of Burlesque inside and out and also enriched our tour with some special stories of the history of how the museum got its start in the desert and was later transported to Las Vegas. Since Airchef’s wife is a former ecdysiast, this was amazing to see so many of the stars of the striptease honored here. The cost is minimal and the experience amazing, especially if you get Jeffery

There is almost nothing here to see. Just barely a room full of photos on the walls. The Forbidden City exhibit was good, but it is not permeant. The whole back room is basically empty. The Jane Mansfield couch was not there. Original burlesque posters and costumes are not that expensive, so I don't understand why the back room is empty. Overall the museum is a disappointment.

Really enjoyed this fantastic and informative museum. They're holding the flame for a meaningful and often unmentionable part of history, so it wasn't just a titillating spark to the imagination, but also movingly educational. I highly recommend this for anyone and everyone. Darby was incredibly passionate about the subject and a fantastic voice for burlesque. The displays are changed and refreshed, so worth going again and again. I loved it, and I will return.

This museum in the downtown area tells the story of Burlesque. A docent explained the history of burlesque timeline and described the other exhibits. The costumes on display were amazing and I enjoyed looking at the various artifacts. This is a small museum, but very well done.

This museum is in the Arts district. It is small but full of great information.Lots of history! Buttercup was our extremely knowledgeable guide. We only had an hour to spend, but would have liked to have been present for some of the activities one can participate in. This shouldn't be missed.

I loved the lady who conducted our tour. She was so knowledgeable and so entertaining in her delivery. My boyfriend only did the tour because I made him go. He ended up enjoying it and being way more interested in this place than he was at any of the other attractions that we went to (even the ones he picked out!) Go and support! This place is wonderful!

This hidden gem was really fun! Wonderful summary of the history of the art of burlesque. Beautiful costumes on display. Great selection of books in the gift shop. Totally worth a stop if you are at all interested.

Maybe I was not paying attention, or maybe the website is put together well. But, I was honestly expecting this to be a real "museum." Like, with multiple rooms, and not just what was essentially a u-shaped hall. Seriously. It took my husband and I about 10 minutes to go through this place. Granted, there is an interesting timeline to read through and a number of interesting photos, maybe a dozen articles of clothing/trunks/pasties, but that's it. I would have been way, way more disappointed in the situation, which required a $50 round-trip taxi ride from the strip, if it did not incidentally bring us to the gates of old Freemont Street, which we never would have seen if we had not gone out there for the "Hall of Fame." So, it was not a complete loss.

Even though the museum was smaller tha I had thought it would be. It was full of history and the lady that helped us was friendly and wonderful. Price was a bit high. But they need to keep their doors open too. Would reccomend it to anyone who has a love for true burlesque in every fashion.

The Burlesque Hall of Fame, is a small museum, somewhere anyone who is a fan of neo-burlesque should visit.

The staff are welcoming, well informed and knowledgeable on the history of Burlesque. It isn't a vast museum, but it is unique, with a definite twist.

I would suggest that playing a visit to the museum can complement a wander through wider arts district, which is a wonderful contrast to the rest of Vegas.

I would add, the staff can also recommend good burlesque performances in Vegas, during your stay.
