I reserved a VIP Suite for my birthday at the Neon Vibra nights held @ Daylight Beach Club. No welcome at all! Upon arrival went through the general line.
I rented 2 suites but was told on arrival that the area I rented was closed and that they gave me a bigger suite. Untrue. With all my guests there, we got set up in the same size suite I rented minus 1 additional suite. Waitress was great and the security guard assigned to my area did an excellent job. Kept the area safe without being rude and was very try professional. But 10 minutes into arrival, went to the restroom and a different security guard on a power trip went ballistic.
Apparently while me and a guest were walking back from the ladies room a waitress with bottle service was running up behind us. We didn’t hear the security shout, “Move!” Mind you we were using the “VIP Cabana restrooms”. That security guard then came storming over to my suite yelling in my face for over 5 minutes before several security guards came to escort him away from me. My husband with heart issues got involved and questioned him, why on earth are you handling such a tiny situation in such an aggressive manner, particularly to my wife. At that point, other guards took notice.
My security guard had watched the whole thing. Told the story to management. Management apologized promised to make it right and did nothing.
Sad to see places like this that lack the basics of hospitality in my hometown. First and last time. 🤷♀️
Literally folks, go anywhere else. Some good alternatives, Blue Martini, Tao, Senor Frogs!

Where to begin with this terrible experience.
First I should mention the walk from the Mandalay hotel reception to the Daylight which is about a 10 minute walk in direct sunlight.
When we booked were told we MUST arrive before 11am to ensure entry, however the actual case was that the club did not open until 12pm and that they say this to ensure its busy from the start! So despite being annoyed we walked back to the hotel reception to seek cover from the beating sun.
12pm came and so we walked back to the club. We were made to wait to one side for about half an hour in the sunshine (bearing in mind it was about 45 degrees Celsius at this point), while Americans were allowed to skip past us. - umm how is this even allowed, what kind of 21st century company discriminates against nationality for club entry preference?!
After finally being acknowledged properly by the girl (blonde, about 5"2) she told us that actually our names were not on the guest list! Thankfully for us, I had brought along our guest list booking confirmation.
Next was security, where we were told we would need to walk back to the hotel to find lockers for our bags. Walk back? AGAIN?! We were told we couldn't bring anything other than our ID and money. I can respect that they will only expect passports for non-Americans but do you REALLY expect us to take our passports into the pool or leave them lying around?! Absolute madness!!!
Also I should mention literally NOTHING is allowed to be taken into the club including sunscreen, medication, nothing except ID and money (or at least this was the case for us anyway!). So what about people with diabetes and other conditions? I have a spinal disability and was not allowed my pain killers!!
Following this the blonde messy haired guy with a red shirt said (laughing) "bye ladies!" Whilst the other colleagues also laughed at us having been refused entry.
We went back to the hotel and spoke to the tall dark haired guy on the round counter in reception (which promotes the club) and he also smirked and said "oh no, that's SO sad". How rude! The only person who would take us seriously was the blonde lady on concierge however sadly she there was not much she could do.
It was VERY unclear who we could complain to about this matter. We could not even get into the club despite pre-paying our entry. Concierge said they could force us in but at this point we were feeling intimated and totally insecure about the staff and did not want to be laughed at all day.
I have never encountered a company ANYWHERE with such discriminating and inconsiderate employees.
If you don't have American ID or if you have any kind of essential medication that you need to take with you - don't even bother trying because they will make it as difficult for you as they can.
DISGUSTING!!!!

After finding contact details on trip advisor from a previous guest for the VIP Host below;
Kris Morahan
Director of Customer Development Daylight Beach Club/Mandalay Bay 917-848-5330 KMorahan@DaylightVegas.com
I texted Kris and he replied straight away even though he said it was his day off. He added me and my boyfriend to a guest list to purchase a day bed for $500 plus tax. When we arrived we went straight to front of the daybed line and was promptly sent in. Kris had set us up with the best daybed location ever, it was right in front on where the DJ plays and kept the sun ☀️ the whole day. Kris was so professional and friendly and so was the whole staff team we saw throughout the day. The pool boys worked so hard to keep your area clean and your needs met, we couldn't ask for more.
I had cocktails 🍹 which were lovely (rum punch) and the fish tacos 🌮 were delicious. I ordered fries which could have fed seven people easily. I ordered buffalo wings which were not hot enough for me (temperature) but I told them and they just removed them off the bill, no issues.
The pool party itself had a fabulous atmosphere, definitely in my top two spots in Vegas. (This is our 9th time in Vegas traveling from England.) The music was hip hop and rnb which I love. DJ Neva and DJ Crooked were playing, they were great. The people were friendly and easy to get on with. The pool area and venue was quite large (not as big as Rehab but bigger than places like Drais, TAO and BARE. Probably a similar size to Wet Republic). There were lockers for bags for $30.
Overall we had an amazing time and would definitely visit this place again the next time we're in Vegas, thanks Kris and your team.

There are many pool parties in Vegas, do yourself a favor and make sure you check them out first.
We were 3 couples and what we had been put through to get in was HORRIBLE (or should i say, on the border line of racism!).
The attitude the bums that run the entrance (especially the Harley-Nazi-look-alike manager) should be unacceptable by any consumer standard.
One may say the stuff behaves as if the sun shines off their butt - is that why they call it Daylight Beach Club?
Again - take your business somewhere else, there are may pool parties on the strip, and this one simply doesnt worth the humiliation.

horrible!!!!!!!!! Omg I'm a bartender and I can't believe the stress this place put me through! I was sober and they said the only way we could have a beach bed was with spending 200$. So we had their 85 dollar pitchers of poorly mixed cocktails that only made 4 drinks per pitcher, we don't mind spending money but it's pricey for no reason. Than we were told they were closing early, so we only were able to enjoy their little beds for an hour! The security guard told us we needed to leave because it was cloudy and their weren't enough people to keep it open. WHY DO YOU post hours than? It gets worse we were overcharged by 70$, I asked for my itemized receipt and the server told me she needed it and I couldn't keep it. REALLY? Now for the past day I have had three trips to concierge in order to fix this. I finally was told to go to daylight to speak to management. The lovely venue manager told me I should know restaurants overcharge people in order to make sure they have enough money in their check. WHAT?! Than he made me wait for 30 min to "find" the receipt, then while I was waiting the door manager argued with me that I should have asked that day for the check. He repeated to argue with me that I was incorrect for asking for an itemized receipt! The venue manager than comes out to show me how difficult it was to look through 10 checks and find my check. He shows it than I asked for my copy he made me wait another 20 minutes!!!!! Than came out and told me he sends off the receipts every night and he couldn't give it to me! What?! I work in the industry and am a professional and have never seen such ludicrous behavior from a management staff. Get it together!

Went to go to the pool. Cost was free for me but my boyfriend was $20 dollars. Afterwards we went through a big inspection. Was not allowed to bring in towels, lotion, Tylenol, prescribed medications including an epipen for severe anaphylaxis. No outside food or drink allowed either. We could of taken our things to the bellhop at Mandalay Bay at the front desk but it was on the other side of the building about a mile walk. Only positive is that they did end up giving us a refund. I don’t recommend unless you read all of the fine print first.

Very rude bartender Kelsey. Took my order wrong. Ordered quesadilla and fries. I guess she didn't hear the fries. Redid my check and it went from $16 to $31. I was not told fries were $15 nor was it on the menu so I told her never mind. She proceeds to be visibly angry and slam things around. She takes off the cost of fries and then proceeds to eat the fries that I ordered in plain view. Called for manager and Josh came and said he was the manager. He appeared unbothered but did apologize and threw away the fries and gave me a bottle of water. Never been treated as such. Poor service on Kelsey's part.

Clean, Upbeat, and Economical considering it's a Vegas Club. People often forget that, because you are outside at a pool, that it is a Las Vegas club.
Pro-Tips: Sunscreen yourself beforehand. Do VIP. Avoid the pitchers.
They have several VIP options where you commit to spend a certain amount during your stay and they will give you expedited free entry, a place to sit, a dedicated waitstaff, and other amenities. I highly recommend texting VIP Host Kris at 917.848.5330 to set up VIP. He has helped me many times and is very helpful and easy to work with.
I just did a Poolside Couch and that was by far the best value. You get plenty of space to sit, stand, and lounge. Plus, you are right by the pool and in the middle of the party. I have done a Daybed, A Grand Cabana, and a Poolside Couch now. Cabana has a daybed and separate pool which is really nice. Daybed is OK if you're on a budget. Couch is an the oasis right in the action.
Be sure to understand that if you do the VIP, you save a lot but are also expected to tip quite a bit. All is booked by a VIP Host who puts you on the list, gets you in the door, and decides where you sit. VIP comes with a Waitress who takes orders, makes drinks and can help you with anything you need. A Busser that replaces ice, gets towels, actually brings out all the various items. A Security Guard who makes sure people don't steal your stuff, can kick people out who are bothering you or sitting in your area. It's polite and expected to take care of all four people based on the level of service.
Cabanas have lockers, daybeds and couches don't. Lockers were about $25 for the day.
Definitely be prepared for expensive drinks, but the prices are comparable or lower than most other clubs in the area. Beers are $10, Waters are $6, Red Bulls are $12, Shots are $17-25, Mixed Drinks are around $36 etc.
They have a moderate dress code (wear beach/pool attire). I wore swimshorts, a t-shirt, slip on shoes, and a ball cap and was fine. As per usual, VIP is more lenient with this. Expect a full pat down including emptying your wallet and the whole thing. No drugs, no nonsense.
Atmosphere is fun with a DJ playing the entire time, often they have celebrity entertainment as well. Most recently I saw Flume with Tony Arzadon opening and the music was amazing.
I have also seen DJ E-Rock who did a great mix of dance and hip hop music. I saw ILoveMakonnen and J. Cole. Makonnen was amazing. J. Cole only played for about 20-25 minutes. So be careful about going to see the hip-hop acts.
They also have food which counts towards a minimum spend and its pretty good. Wraps, Fries, Chicken Fingers, Tacos, etc. Tasty bar food perfect for soaking up some booze.
All in all, I have only had good experiences and would recommend this place to anyone who asks.

Jul 2020
My friends and I went to this pool on Jul 3, 2020. We went to meet our friends who were already inside. As we stood in line, an employee talked to us and asked if we had a reservation. We said no and we were told that we would need to spend $1000 minimum for a booth to get in. We asked if we were in the wrong line because our friends had previously gotten in without the minimum. The employee apologized and said we must be mistaken cause that was the only way in. We left and called our friend who walked out and asked what the problem is. We were then told we couldnt \ come in now because we needed to be guests of the Mandalay Bay, which we were. They then said we couldn't come in because we had outside towels. Finally a sweet manager came and told us that we could come in and he was sorry about the inconvenience. After we came in we were stopped by the security guard no less than 6 times. He told us I couldn't hug my husband/he couldn't carry me in the pool bc of covid. That we couldn't eat at the pool and needed to go to the bar. That I need to wear a mask at the bar (even though I was eating), etc. I'm all for respecting rules but I noticed that there were people in the pool twerking and making out and others in cabanas a hop skip and a jump from having sex in public. Other people walking around without masks etc. I noticed he only stopped Black people that didn't look like they came from money (not wearing name brands etc). I went to have a good time, but the security guard and the first employee we encountered made me feel really ugly, unworthy, and poor. I wish I had gone to the initial manager about the experience but we were scared that we would be retaliated against as my sister was supposed to get married at the hotel the next day. I hope that management from here sees this and the employees get some diversity training. I still feel like crying the way we were treated. It was really frustrating to deal with this in this day and age :(
