Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit musical featuring a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now rocking nightly at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin'", and more. Parental Advisory Rock of Ages is all about having a good time but you should be aware that some of the costumes, dancing and language might not be appropriate for kids under the age of 14 (kids under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Remember, if you do bring them, they'll get to see you rockin' like you did back in the day! AGE LIMIT Under 14 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult Under 5 Will Not Be Admitted Into The Theatre

We bought tickets at the tix4tonight booth on the Strip for $62 and our seats were perfect, however, we got there early and we got upgraded to the $180 tickets in the middle of the stage. What a great way to start our Vegas trip....More

Rarely do I love a show not on Broadway. However, with Joey Fatone and a cast of extreme talent, Vegas's "Rock of Ages" was a great evening. Caution: everyone knows these songs, and with it being Vegas, people (myself included) will sing along.

Great fun at this frequently tongue-in-cheek musical - super music (providing you like 80s rock of course!), fantastic performers, and plenty of humour. Not quite on the same impressive scale as Phantom, which used to be housed in the same theatre (now markedly scaled down...More

We had seen this on a cruise ship and loved it so we decided to go see it again! Thoroughly enjoyed the show! Wish we had caught it when Joey Fatone was in it, but it is well worth seeing, the acting is great as...More

First thing you should know is that you cannot, or at least should not, compare this show to Raiding the Rock Vault. Raiding the Rock Vault is a concert, and a GREAT one at that. This is a Broadway production. In fact, it was my...More

This is a MUST see if you love the 80's. The story line was entertaining, the songs made you clap and dance in your seats. It was high energy and made us laugh a lot. The male and female dancers were very talented and sexy....More

I wanted to go see this show but didn't have the time to get tickets. At lunchtime I popped into one of the stalls on the strip which offered discounted tickets. They gave us tickets for that night. When we arrived the ushers moved us...More

I guess we are just too old to appreciate loud screechy music and a show with a weak theme. Definitely not for kids because of the crude and suggestive story line. We left at intermission, had a headache for hours.

Let me start by saying that act 2 was significantly better than act 1. During intermission my wife and I both had the same question: was this understudy might? The actors lacked energy and did not seem to click onstage. Also, the music was significantly...More

Smaller venue so most seats are pretty good. I sat in the side and was pleased. I would suggest sitting in the middle of the stage in one of the middle rows. If you have cash to spare, there were front row tables right at... More
