Ignore the bad reviews. It's a great high energy show with a talented bunch of singers and dancers (who aren't too tough on the eyes either). First they perform ABBA songs, then it's 70's/80's disco classics. They encourage you to take photos (unusual for a Vegas show) so make sure you bring a camera. You can get tickets at the half price places so it won't break the bank. The night I went, the audience were very enthusiastic, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, clapping and singing along to everything.

I read a lot of bad reviews of this before we saw it, so I wondered what we were in for. We both thought the show was very good. The dancing was excellent, not sure why there is so much criticism of the dancing. It was very high energy and lots of fun. The singers were fine. This show used to be at New York, New York and has moved to Planet Hollywood. I wonder if the show improved, because this show does not deserve the bad reviews it's getting on this site.

We enjoyed this show. The singers were very good and the dancers showed a lot of energy. The music was great. We had a fun time. We selected the 9:30 show, and they didn't even open the theater until 9:50 - didn't appreciate standing around the extra time. I would recommend the show to others.

Wonderful demonstration ABBA songs, and other iconic songs of the 70's and 80's. My wife and i found Dancing Queen to be a high energy, non-stop singing and dancing trip through some of the greatest songs of the time, which i personally can not get enough of, great singing, good choreography, wonderful boy- girl dancers, complete with six packs (the boys that is) sorry guys i am not allowed to describe the girls. Showing at the Planet Hollywood Casino on the strip, tickets are fairly priced, bring a camera/ video ect. We watch the the show twice, i would have liked to have seen it a third time, but my wife was afraid i would be carried out on a stretcher, so for those of you who are stirred by music or have lived a life, then this is a worthy show. My only criticism is that it did not carry on all night long.

The tripadvisor reviews are very misleading. The singers have excellent voices. They are backed by energetic dancers. This is disco music from the 70 's and 80's. They start off with 6 to 7 Abba songs which were quite good. The version of Fernando is a little different and faster paced. I like the original by Abba better, but, I can understand they had to make it a faster beat for the dancing which is quite fast paced. The black singer has an awesome voice, can hit the high notes, and the rendition of "I will survive" was awesome. Go in with an open mind and you will like it. My wife and I loved it. We love disco music.

I went to see this show after seeing Broadway celebrations and really enjoyed it. It was fun and wasn't all just about Abba. The theatre was small and their was a great atmosphere. I think the dancers and music was great.

First, you must ignore the past poor ratings. I found out that they are from an old production at a different location. This production was moved to Planet Hollywood I believe in September 2013. It's a fantastic show! The choreography is amazing. The dancers are absolutely some of the best, quality professionals I've ever seen. The singers are really good and so talented and engaging. There's wonderful energy and fun throughout this show. There's no lag time and this show flows seamlessly. It's a show you could feel comfortable bringing the whole family to and that's hard to find in Vegas. That's not to say the costuming isn't sexy! Which by the way, the costumes are really great and with the fast costume changes it's another credit to the production team at this show. I was very impressed. Will be going back to see this show on an already planned return trip! If you want to leave a show feeling entertained and smiling then see this one!

Let me add my voice to those who wishes that they had read the reviews before going.
My wife and I both love the music of ABBA and went to see the show last Saturday. We were expecting a lot of ABBA. After all on Planet Hollywood's website it states "Dancing Queen features all of ABBA’s Greatest Hits".
Well it started off with four or five ABBA songs which were average. Don't know why they chose to put the guys in white tail-coats though? Perhaps they were left over from a previous production.
Then we had some singer we'd never heard of (and not featured on the advertising) who we thought was just an interlude until we got back to the ABBA material. Nope. It was a relentless succession of cheesy disco numbers. No structure to it, just a random selection of karaoke numbers with dancers.
It was completely mediocre. I would say don't waste your time but I don't think this show will last too long without major changes. I would estimate that only around 20% of the seats were occupied - on a Saturday night! That clearly is not sustainable.
If you are determined to go, don't bother with the VIP floor seats. You'll have a good view from the first level seats and there is little chance of there being many heads blocking your view.

this "experience" is one i will forget. The so called Abba singers were not all that good. For a show in Vegas they were terrible, even the venue was second rate and the dress was certainly not what Abba wore. A lot of the songs were not abba songs and the dancing was very poor. Not worth the money.

We really enjoyed this performance. Very high energy and the singers and dancers worked very hard to entertain. I know some reviews have complained about not having enough ABBA songs, but they sang all the most popular ABBA songs and did a great job with many 70s favorites. I believe the entire audience enjoyed the show very much. Would definitely like to see it again some time.
