We enjoyed looking at the fish. we keep tropical fish at home so this attraction was good for us. Only bad point is that it is far to expensive to get in. Would get more visitors if the admission charge was below $15

The aquarium walk through takes about 15 minutes after which are funneled into a tightly stocked gift shop where you have to pry your screaming kids fingers off of over priced stuffys and plastic animals.

I don’t think so. If it’s the only thing drawing you to stay at Mandalay Bay I would reconsider hotels only because this hotel is towards the end of the strip. The Shark Reef aquarium was still a really cool little day out... More

Yes, it does. However, there are some conditions, so I would suggest calling them directly. We were told (last thursday) that the free entry to the pool with the Shark Reef tickets starts at 5pm on the same day the ticket was purchased. We opted not to take advantage of it, however.
