- JTKnottPerdido Key, Florida465 contributionsVan MorrisonI have listened to Van Morrison for more than 30 years. When my daughter got married, she selected his most beautiful song "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You" for the father daughter dance. So seeing Van live was one of the few remaining items on my bucket list. When I saw he was doing a concert in Las Vegas, my wife and I jumped at the chance. He is just a wonderful musician with an extremely large song list, stretching much farther than his hits. During this concert he performed a few of his notable hits, plus many others from his list. His band and especially his band leader were excellent. Possibly the most interesting thing, which I understand is one of his unusual traits. He began sharply at 8pm, was done sharply at 9:30, performed beautifully, but never said one word to the audience and very few words to the band. Very interesting. He is a wonderful musician, playing saxophone, guitar and harmonica, and singing in that soulful voice that God only created for Van.Visited January 2020Written February 5, 2020
- katiel0703Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania27 contributionsGreat concert experience! My husband and I came to Vegas to see Keith Urban in concert at the Colosseum. Keith is by far my favorite artist to see in concert but the Colosseum is a great venue for a concert. There isn’t a bad seat in the venue, though the best seats would be in section 204 or 205 because you will be center in the venue. Food and drink prices were okay once inside the Colosseum, really they were what we expected them to be. Snacks for $10 and drinks starting around $15 depending on what is your favorite drink. No outside food or beverages are allowed in the Colosseum so plan accordingly when attending a concert or show.Visited March 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten April 2, 2022
- MeraKi25Philadelphia, Pennsylvania4,667 contributionsMariah CareyThe venue itself is good minus the mass exodus that happens when the concert is over. Good acoustics. We saw Mariah Carey’s holiday show in November and it was excellent... albeit starting more than 30mins late and only lasting an hour and 8 mins.Visited November 2019Traveled as a coupleWritten January 14, 2020

I've wanted to see Van Morrison for years and the trip to Vegas was the only opportunity to see him in the US. While the sound quality in the Colosseum was very good, getting into the place was terribly slow making most people late for the show even after being 30 minutes early. Van Morrison stilll has a great voice and a very good supporting band - but....did not play long, did not display a lot of energy, and ended the show by just walking off the stage leaving the band to play on for 5 minutes. Would have liked him to give the show of the century....but it seems like that was not in the cards.

Just saw Sting at The Colosseum ,what a major disappointment, very lack lustre show and his band is not a patch on the band he used to have and seems just a nepotism fest!
When this residency was announced I was lead to believe it was going to be a state of the art production which it certainly is not.
The audience reaction was rather lacklustre and many of the 399 dollar front orchestra seats were empty which isn’t great for a Friday night and the first night of his 2nd run of shows at The Colosseum
There were technical difficulties with the screens at the start and sadly Sting along with many of his contemporaries the voice is certainly not what it once was and I expected the sound to be much better than it was.
So sadly it was just a run of the mill concert at ridiculous ticket prices and nothing spectacular or exciting at all.
Shame on you Caesars and obviously you are making him wear the awful yellow suit which he seems to hate and I don’t blame.
If you really want to see Sting see him locally and don’t travel to Vegas be much cheaper and a much better experience.

Mariah Carey concert in Feb 2020. Supposed to start 8pm. She finally turned up at 8:30pm. No apologies or anything like that. She sang 3 songs then went off stage, changed her dress. Meanwhile backing dancers dance and then backing singers sing a song. This was repeated 5 times. In between calling her make up artist on stage to do her make up. Then bringing her kids on stage. Then being brought in on a bed and having to be helped to move around the stage as she couldn’t walk in her heels. Show finished 9:58pm - no encores. Just a lazy performance. She has her money, why bother making an effort. Explains why there were so many empty seats and why some people arrived so late. Also I was front row of the top tier - very happy with the seat itself. On the first tier though everyone stood up. I would have been well annoyed if I had paid for more expensive seats down there. Don’t waste your money - Spend it on something else!!

We bought cheap seats to see Sting at the Colosseum and were late entering as my friend wasn’t allowed their small backpack into the concert. This meant having to go to check it in at the front of the hotel and we missed the first ten minutes. Very kindly, one of the ushers gave us amazing tickets for the super pricey tickets at the front of the stage where we had an amazing view. There were empty seats which was a shame but didn’t spoil the experience. We thought Sting was amazing. Energetic, engaged the audience and looked incredible for his 70 years.

My wife and I attended the Adele show. We were in section 302, the 2nd row. I thought we had a great view from those seats, and the seats themselves were quite comfortable. The acoustics for the show were wonderful. Getting in to the Colosseum, and getting to our seats was fairly easy. After the show ended, after around 2hrs, we hung out in our seat for a bit to try and let the main crowds exit. But even then it took quite a while to exit the theater, then make your way through the packed casino and hallways. It was a hot mess. But I would certainly return to attend a show.

As soon as you enter the auditorium, you feel the effects of this building perfectly designed for optimal acoustics. Adele and her musicians rang through so pure, I'll never forget it. Our seats were off to the side on the 200s and it was a good view. Any seat will be a good view and you won't miss anything, but certainly we would have liked to be more center.
The doors opened very close to the starting time. It was barely enough time to get a drink and get to the seat. The bartenders were so slow. The bar prices are insanely high. But the venue itself as a live performance auditorium was great.

Van Morrison was a bucket list thing for us. He did not disappoint and neither did The Colosseum. Walked in about 7;05pm. Crowded but Caesars handled it and we were thru security and in, quickly. Show started 7:58pm. Great venue to see shows. Our seats were upper level balconey. Front row. Just off center right of stage. Great view of the stage. Two large LCD on each side of the stage. I would recomend bypassing the first level bar and the big crowds. Head up the escalators toward your seats and there are more smaller bars to get your drinks. Little pricey. Two larger Moscow Mules were $60.00. They were great drinks and bartender was courteous, pleasant and engaging. We enjoyed this place immensely.

We saw Sting on April 1st at the Colosseum. We had seats quite high up but the sight lines, acoustics and experience were still amazing! The cost for wine (or anything), however.. absolutely ridiculous. THAT piece was disappointing as although Vegas in general is expensive, this was over the top and a complete money grab on an already pricey experience.

Saw Rod Stewart here on 9/28/22. Concert was great, sound system was awesome, but the seats at the Colosseum were very tight, about like a middle economy airline seat. Larger people will not fit in these seats. Concessions limited and extremely expensive. $10 for a box of M&M’s that cost a dollar at the supermarket? Really?

Very elegant theater, easy check in process even with Yonder bags locking up electronics, great bars inside. Saw Chris Rock two days after he left the stage in L.A. and Dave Chappelle was attacked, so security was excellent and pervasive. Solid comedy venue.

If you don’t want to line up - around 45 minutes before so you can take your time inside. They offer beer to buy - go to the rest room - but at least free from standing in line for your turn. They check your bags and DO NOT ALLOW FOOD INSIDE. I had to run all the way to the check in to deposit food I bought for the next day’s breakfast.

How is the view from the last few rows of sections 202 - 206 (rows M, N, O and P), given the overhang of the 1st Mezzanine? Is it obstructed or does it feel awkward being far back under the overhang? Thanks!

Hello there, Erwin! I hope this message finds you well.
I will be attending an event at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada in October 2019. I wanted to know where do you bring your vehicle in order to access Valet Parking at the Caesar's Colosseum? Apparently, The Colosseum has it's own valet. Please respond as your busy schedule permits. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you so much!

The best area to sit in a concert ... Mariah Carey to be exact

Honestly the best is 15-20 seats from the exact middle, starting about 7-9 rows back.. The balcony isn’t bad either. The sides are a bit distant and were hard for us to see details. We have seen numerous concerts there and the sound system is excellent.
