Saved my credit card info and used it later!!
Apr 2016 • Couples
My husband and I did one of their rides a few years ago and we actually had a really nice time. When we were there, the employees were friendly and helpful and the horses seemed well cared for. Other than it being a bit expensive we thought it was great. About a year later was when I noticed that they had charged me for another visit. When I called and questioned it, they were going to check into it and get back to me. I never heard back from them, and then they wouldn't even talk to me on future calls, return my calls, etc. I finally had to go through the process of disputing the charges through the credit card company because they wouldn't admit I hadn't been there. I ended up getting a new credit card, which is a hassle, because they had kept my info all that time and used it later!

“This woman is a criminal, please stop giving her money!”

The owner is a criminal who scams people out of money. We were in a court case for years where she was found guilty. I'd pay you not to go here.

This woman is a criminal, please stop giving her money!
Apr 2014 • Solo
I'm glad some of you have had better experiences than others, because you paid for a service and you should get your monies worth. However, in the future, please look to another company for your trail riding in Las Vegas. There are multiple open court cases against this woman for her neglect of horses, she hides her sick, neglected, underfed and injured horses from animal control by moving them around from place to place. She has been banned from using BLM land for violating laws in the past and does not have a current business license or insurance for her business. The list goes on and on, this woman has been a thorn in the side of the local horse community for years. She's sneaky and keeps popping back up like a bad nightmare. Please help us to save the poor horses in her care and future animals from falling victim to her. Go somewhere else, don't give her your money. And call the local animal control and give them any information you might have so they can follow through and get rid of her for good. Do your research, a quick google search for Jacque Fitzgerald, Las Vegas will get you started. Thank you on behalf of a local horse lover!

The most enjoyable outing in Las Vegas
Apr 2014 • Couples
This was just perfect. The horses were nice, the ride was so enjoyable. Well planned and organised. And coming back under the moonlight was magic.

About 8 years ago I had my oldest daughter's party here when the location was different and it was great, so when my 5 year old daughter requested a horseback party, I remembered the name and called up. Since my experience was great from years ago, I neglected to read reviews and booked a party even though the location was different as Jackie told me they had moved. Jackie was a very nice lady and I hate to give negative feedback, but as a mother I felt I needed to for the safety of children. Of all the parties I have thrown for my 5 kids ranging in age from 18 to 5, this was hands down the worst party I have ever experienced. I was so mortified in front of the parents of the children I invited. The field where the kids were to ride was covered with horse poop everywhere and it wasn't fresh...that field looks like it is never cleaned. The horses were of good weight but looked dirty and unkept. The guides were teenagers that are possible through a work program and most of them did not want to work. One of the teenagers immediately said the "f" word in front of my 4 and 5 year old group when he was told to do something. The parents were responsible for walking their children around this dirty field for 2 hours. When I complained Jackie said the parents were always responsible for walking the kids. On the phone and from my previous party, my experience was that the kids were shown how to groom horses and giving some basic horse information and then led around by guides for a while before having a BBQ style lunch. At this party, most of the kids became bored after an hour or so and because of the disorganization and lack of any other planning, we kind of sat there until I asked one of the teenagers if there was anything else to do. He created a little lasso area so that entertained them until Jackie returned from the grocery store. It seems she needed the money from the balance of our party before she could buy the food so she went to the grocery store and bought hot dogs and hamburgers with a pack of assorted chips and a store bought birthday cake with my daughter's name spelled wrong. She had no candles for the cake either. They proceeded to cook the food on a hot plate grill type appliance with standard napkins. We had to wait for her to cook as the kids stood around. The only bathroom area was so filthy that most of the parents wouldn't let the children go in. It was also located inside a work shed. There were strangers living in campers on the property as well. The only washing available was the pack of handy wipes Jackie bought. After the kids ate, jackie and the teenagers ate the remaining food while we cleaned up and left. I believe Jackie may have fallen on tough times or something happened to this establishment but it is an accident waiting to happen when they have people handling these horses that have no experience and small children are just being led by their parents. What if one of the horses became spooked? Like I said, I feel bad for the negative feedback but this establishment was filthy, unorganized, unsafe, unhealthy and completely OVERPRICED. It should be shutdown until it can be re-established to what it used to be and I am sure the SPCA and the BBB will be looking into its current condition.

Great Morning Ride
Dec 2013 • Couples
We went out to Vegas for work and for the National Finals Rodeo. We wanted to get some riding in the beautiful landscape surrounding Vegas so we booked a trip with Sagebrush Ranch as I prefer to support smaller outfits. We were picked up on time at our hotel and taken to an amazing Buffet for breakfast. Jackie was waiting at the trailhead with horses saddled and ready to ride. We went on the 2hr breakfast ride and what a great time. The Horses were well cared for and they are calm enough for the most basic rider, but also not completely trail bound so for more experienced riders you can get off trail a bit and enjoy kicking up some jack rabbits in the brush. All the staff at the ranch were great! Jackie and her team made this a memorable experience and I look forward to riding out with in Vegas with the Sagebrush Ranch again.

Had a great time
Dec 2013 • Friends
My nan and I had a great time on our ride with Sagebrush. It was easy to organise from the UK, communication from staff was excellent. The ride itself was lovely, through the foothills/desert outside central Vegas, with wonderful views over the strip. As a horserider I always look for tell-tale signs of horsecare not being up to scratch, but no such problems here! Horses were well cared for, healthy, good feet, not a mark on them, and left standing in halters without bridle on until we were ready. They were well suited to us and so well behaved, but still with a bit of personality (Cody was fantastic!) The chaperones for our ride were the most friendly, fun, gentleman, and really helped us have the best time. Value is amazing, and the price for pickup and dropoff, buffet lunch and 1.5 hours ride the equivalent of what you would pay for a simple lesson in England, definitely going back if I go to Vegas again!

Terrible!!!
Nov 2013 • Couples
What the hell is that Ranch!!! our trip was terrible
Instead of nice horseriding in the desert, canyons and mounts we got:
a great delay,
horsewalking in the streets around the ranch,
a teenager trainer who himself can not ride horses very well.
All our trip was a great failure.
Avoid this ranch if you want to be safe.
