Hosted by Frank Marino who plays Joan Rivers.
He introduces three performers who do the music of Freddy Mercury, Tina Turner and Elvis. Great band and back up singers with some very good dancers/ show girls. Very well done toe tapping music. The only bad thing was the edgy humor of Marino. Which means you should leave the kids home. Parking at the Tropicana is free so enjoy.

It seems that my last few trips had me in Vegas when Legends in Concert was dark. Finally saw it Saturday night, July 24th (Trip Advisor drop down menu for this review only had June as a choice). I haven’t written a review here in a really long time, but I feel compelled to do so now. The crowd was quite small. Vegas felt quite crowded....where was everyone? The performers which included showgirls, live musicians, back-up singers and dancers, and of course our headliners were magnificent. I’ve seen tons of shows in Vegas, and this tops them all.

Joan Rivers emceeing, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, and of course Elvis......are so amazing. Cosmetic technology, gorgeous costuming, and incredible talent made one feel like you were watching the actual performers.

Go to the Tropicana and support these performers!

I'm under the impression from some of their ads that the performers change from time to time, but the night I went I saw Tina, Rod, and Elvis, along with the standard Joan Rivers host. The comedy by Joan was more R-rated than PG and entertaining, but the show itself was pretty awesome. The likeness to the real people was pretty good, the sound and similarity of voices was great, and for 75 minutes my foot was tapping and I was singing along. I would do it again, especially if I knew that there would be other performers.

They have really upped their game since moving to the new location in the iconic showroom at the Tropicana. Real Las Vegas show girls, nine of them all decked out in several numbers. A great addition is Frank Marino of the Divas fame, as Joan Rivers who is an amazing Emcee of the show. Three great tribute acts culminating with Matt Lewis as Elvis. Wonderful show. Don't miss it.

Top Vegas production that has it all. Show girls, impersonators and band. Master of ceremonies drag queen Joan Rivers super funny. Stellar impersonators Tina Turner, Freddie Mercury & of course Elvis. The singers and showgirls were the best I have seen. Definitely a good value for your money. Located in the Tropicana.

I will start off by saying I was the biggest skeptic about seeing a show of impersonators.... however, I left the show scratching my head saying "How'd they do that?"

My friend made the reservations and insisted that we see this show. We arrived at the Imperial Palace (I agree, this show needs a new venue) and noticed dealers dressed in costume and thought how hokey can this be... I arrived in the theater ready to be unimpressed..... the lights went down, the curtain came up and the show began... enter Stevie Wonder: great performance; next up, The BOSS - Bruce Springsteen.... another great performance; I'm sitting higher in my seat... next, Gloria Estefan... needs some work...; up next, Rod Stewart..... another great performance - uncanny....; then, The Righteous Brothers, I didn't recognize the name, but I certainly recognized the music!!! Finally, Elvis.......... (this is where I was a major skeptic)........ dazed beyond belief... Matt Lewis personafied Elvis during his, in my opinion, BEST ('68-'72) ..... I was really impressed and would definitely see this show again!!! It's worth the $62.00!!! Go see this show!! I am 40 years old and loved this show!!

Needless to say, I wasn't real excited to see this, but we all had a good time. The entertainers made it fun for everyone, whether you liked their music, or not. Since the theatre is so small, do yourself a favor and purchase the cheapest tickets possible and have fun.

We saw the Legends show on August 20, 2005 and had a blast!! The show included, Buddy Holly, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Aretha Franklin, the Temptations, and Elvis. We were right by the steps up to the stage, we got the dinner/show package and I would not recommend the dinner part. The buffet was not good at all. We thought everyone was great, but "Aretha" and "Elvis" really stood out. It was fun being able to pose for photos after, I got mine taked with Bruce and Elvis. All in all I highly recommend seeing this show, it was great!

Really enjoyed this show. Booked the tickets through the IP and had forgotten the credit card I used. Was quite worried we wouldnt get tickets but it was fine.
All the acts were amazing, especially Elvis who ended up singing on our table! We had the cheaper seats but the view of the stage was great. Would highly recommend it.

First off, let me say that Legends In Concert is a great show that deserves a better venue. The Imperial Palace's "Showroom" probably hasn't been renovated in 30 years, and those cheesy booths with the brown vinyl cushions and "IP"insignias need updating.

Now that I've told you what's bad about the show, here's what's great: the performers, and the price. We got our tickets at one of the Tix2Nite booths on the strip, and paid $20 each for them. The show includes one drink and gratuity, so it really is a bargain. However, the Tix2Nite voucher that you receive needs to be exchanged for the actual ticket, and it's not until you get to Imperial Palace that you find out that your seat is all the way in the back of the room, even though there are better seats available. We upgraded our seats (at a cost of $10 more per ticket, still less than full price), and got seated at a table right next to the stage. Each of the impersonators has clearly done their homework- Stevie Wonder was fantastic, Gloria Estefan's voice was just like the real thing, and Janet Jackson's dancing skills were top-notch. Elvis was phenomenal- the show would have been worth it even if he was the only performer. The only performers that didn't quite make the grade were Rod Stewart (looked like Rod but didn't sound like him) and the Righteous Brothers (because Bobby Hatfield is dead now). Still, it was an entertaining night. And if Imperial Palace ever decides to renovate the place, it'll be even better.
