Great, friendly bar with plenty of video poker machines. Sadly, due to the trump pandemic, like too many other businesses in Las Vegas, The Garage is temporarily closed.

My partner and I have been told about this place being such a great establishment. Since I’m a car guy the bar seemed to be the perfect spot to try out. We went in on a Monday afternoon to check the place out. It appeared clean it sits in a strip mall. The only thing I thought was strange was the fact there was a sign on the door stating to ring the bell if the door is not open. Makes one think what could be going on behind closed doors. We went in to get out of the heat and get a cool drink and try some of the bar food I kept hearing about being so great. When the door opened it was like a walking into a movie theater late and interrupting the movie. Everyone turned towards the door and looked to see who was coming in yet not a single word welcome hi anything. We looked around the place and sat in a booth, and there it begins.... I’m watching the bar area maybe 10 to 12 around but all in couples. A few looked like they have been sitting there for a day or two they had that haggard living dead look. There was also a number of guys playing pool, so not a totally dead bar unless you consider the bartender. I’m watching him he has looked up several time to see where we are sitting then went back to his work. He was a darker haired guy probably late 20s but you could tell he thought he was the best thing in there. Not once did he acknowledge us nor come over to take a drink order or say come to the bar to place an order. This is Las Vegas a service industry town and this guy thinks I need to be serving up to him. We stayed seated and watched the crowd. He did pour drinks for several at the bar and also a few guys from the pool table area. I then see an older man come out of the kitchen area he looked around the bar looked directly at me and my partner and then turned to a couple of men sitting near the kitchen/ backroom shook or hugged and talked to them for a bit then left. He later came back out and grabbed the bartender who I will call him Mr. Dipstick because of his lack of personal skills and took him to the back for a bit. I used the restroom and sat back down and MR dipstick was bar tending away not even asking can I get you anything. We both sat there for maybe another 10 minutes then said the hell with it and walked out. It’s very sad the bar looked clever and had a nice vibe if you are into cars and that type of motif, but in a town that is service related this place is a total dump. I could care less if the drinks were free with sorry attitude employees making a non-friendly atmosphere. This is the place not to go to. The homeless people in the parking

The bar food hit the spot!! Great place to unwind after a day of traveling. Try the wings and mushrooms! The drink specials are easy on the wallet and far less expensive than the strips and tasty !

Came here with some gay friends. Not looking for anything overly camp but just a few beers and chit chatter. Love this little bar. You can hear yourself talking with your friends. It has great bartenders who are attentive, the setup is great with talking booths on one side of the bar and a couple of pool tables on the other. A charming little place in the neighbourhood of Vegas which is gay friendly. I actually didn't get any gay vibe here but it was cool enough to stay here and drink for the night.

This is a good spot for a late night snack and have a drink while you play the games. It's not far from the main strip which makes it easy to travel. It's got more a chill vibe where you can sit down and have a conversation. It's a good alternative for a gay bar than the normal dancing gay bars.
