About
In a larger than life grand opening celebration in October 2011, Margaritaville and The Flamingo Las Vegas opened the first Margaritaville Casino. You’ll know you’ve arrived in Margaritaville from the minute you walk in the doors. Dancing Fins Up Girls, engaging dealers, and the most talented bartenders in the world bring the energy of Las Vegas to the relaxed style of the islands for a unique gaming experience. Chill out and let us pour you something “tall and strong” at the Five o’clock Somewhere Bar, the centerpiece of the 15,000 square foot casino.

Margaritaville is a small casino with a gift shop. A good place to enjoy the Jimmy buffet Margaritaville experience.

Witnessed two salesmen confronting each other over territory on which to sell their show tickets. I was at the entrance by the poker room and only wanted to play a little in the casino but had to hear the threats and foul language. Saw one man rip his jacket off and shove and hit the other man while both cussed profusely. Ruins the average tourist's experience by having to be subjected to that behavior when entering and exiting the property.

Margaritaville is a fun place in the flamingo. The flamingo itself is in dire need of some updating, but is still a must stop for us at least once for every trip. They try to do newer things but still feels really old inside. What keeps us going back is we tend to find the fun dealers there.

Attached to Flamingo, it's not worth a stop, yet serves as a good way to avoid the elements when heading to northern strip venues. Found the machines to be super tight and bartenders rude along w/inexperienced, greedy dealers. Location isn't everything, even in Vegas. Too much congestion at entrance, also. Guess it's just an easier way to make a buck for a lousy songwriter than stepping on pop-tops! Drinks were lousy too.

I love this place. Just spent every morning for the last 8 days here. The CWs are awesome. Apparently, Buffet gets a cut for signage every year, so they are cutting ties with him because of the cost. I watched them remove most of the signage this week. It was sad because we have been going there for 7 years. The CW said it will not close and it will stay some sort of tropical theme, but that is to be seen. So sad. I really dislike the rest of the Flamingo floor.:(

Most of the reason for visiting Flamingo --was-- going to Margaritaville Casino to socialize and spend money with staff and customers, many of whom seemed past puberty, in a pleasant, reasonably secure ambience with good music played at reasonable levels for the demographic that made Margaritaville what it --was--.
Management fixed that problem by replacing the Jimmy Buffet ambience with a deafening rapper romper room for the soon-to-be-hard of hearing. In fact management should be congratulated for creating a whole new series called the "Walking Deaf".
Good news is the primitive screams and hand signs that worked so well for our cave-dwelling forebears seem to work just as well for casino staff and the modern troglodytes to whom Margaritaville has been rededicated.
Opposite the gaming tables, now jammed together apparently to discourage patrons of size, is a vast new area dedicated to Beer Pongers, the "Staggering Deaf".
In a truly inspired move, management got rid of Margaritaville's only Pai Gow table, fixing once and for all the problem of doddering baby boomers hunched over their cards, mumbling polysyllabic words among themselves, well below the threshold of auditory pain.
Sadly, a venue once warm and inviting is now uninviting and deafening.
Customers who used to like the place would be well advised to write or call the management and ask that the casino be put back the way it was. Otherwise, it's not worth your time or money.

Went as a small group and they wouldn't accept a UK driving licence as a form ID for anyone under 30yrs. A very strange company policy and were not willing to back down and allow us to play. Bar tender was very rude!!!!

My husband and felt a bit peckish but did not want a huge meal and we had seen someone have a club sandwich when we visited a couple of days earlier, it is huge and so we decided to share one, and it more than satisfied our hunger. Service is good and so is the Margarita!

This is really just a small sub-casino within the Flamingo. It is pretty nice, but not much in there.
The Good:
- Decent denominations on slots.
- Fair table limits.
- Part of Total Reward players club.
- Waitresses seem to be on the floor a lot.
- Friendly staff.
- A lot to do outside of gambling in the Flamingo.
The Bad:
- Small.
- Very few slots.
- Very few tables.
- Too connected to the Flamingo Casino floor to be able to call it a stand-alone casino.
