About
The Erotic Heritage Museum promotes the exploration of human sexuality, done through a variety of art and multimedia exhibitions. Popular exhibits include the Kissing Couple statue, the immersive Sex in Space showcase and the Bettina Hubby: The Sexual Bronze Installation. Don’t miss the Wall of Shame, which calls out the scandals of politicians, celebrities and religious personalities. Adult films are played on screens throughout the museum, together with an eclectic collection of pleasure toys. The ‘Puppetry of the Penis’ show is at an additional charge; otherwise, visit the museum for free with the Go City: Las Vegas All-Inclusive Pass. – Tripadvisor

Quite an experience and it is for open-minded adults only. The displays, exhibits and videos are actually quite eye opening, but you may be surprised at some of the items no matter how your mind works.

This two-floor museum had everything about sex. There were statues, artwork, panels from the Kama Sutra, paraodies of movies (Star Wars), story boards about scandals by religious leaders (Jimmy Swagart), political leaders (Bill Clinton), and famous personalities (Woody Allen). Graphics showed in great detail the physical makeup of male and female genitalia. I was amused by all the different kinds of dildos people turn to as well as the exhibit on S&M. Peep shows from the early 1900s mixed with modern porn flicks playing around the museum. Prudes will be appalled, curious people will be educated, "enlightened" folks will be amused. This is a unique place. Just be sure to get the 50% off Groupon. $60 would be too much to pay for admission for a couple.

When this attraction arrived in Las Vegas, visiting it was on my bucket list. Arrived early Wednesday and decided to visit Erotic Museum when it opened at 11am. Senior admission price is only $10 although I would have paid $30 to satisfy my curiosity. (The sales receipt is good for cover charge and one drink on same day at Deja Vu Gentlemen's Club next door.) I was the only one there until I was ready to leave. It was interesting for first timer. I spent 1.5 hours but could have spent more time on what appears to be full length adult films as well as video samples. This is the first time I have seen an adult animation. There were lots of figurines in various sex positions. I was surprised how well endowed the male porno stars are as seen by casts of their private parts. Picture taking is allowed on first floor but not on second floor. As a museum, it does show history of sex. Decision to visit this attraction is a personal preference.

We saw the show Puppetry of the Penis! It was a hoot, started with a little comedy stand up and then came the nudity. They attempted some comedy but all in all a great time.

Buyer beware from 3rd party ticket websites. It is general seating, they let you in by group, VIP, then preferred and then general. Don’t be fooled like us! We had great seats, 3rd row.

Not a family friendly show.

we got a deal on the tickets for $15 each; normal price is $30. We went there to check out the sex bike but it was down for maintenance.

We were absolutely underwhelmed with this show - bad comedy, mediocre oragami, hostile to audience, gross venue.

The concept is great . And this sounds like a fascinating opportunity to watch in amazement and laugh. It is not.

It is mostly a weak comedy routine with two naked men. The jokes are cheesy, the timing off, the delivery awkward. The comedy is just not funny.

The performers didn't know how to handle the audience. They seemed very uncomfortable with the drunk bachelorette party in attendance. The girls were rowdy, not out of control .... wouldn't this be a regular part of the audience? The performers were very distracted by the girls and even threatened to ruin the bride's wedding if she didn't shut up. It was not said in a playful, bantering way. The performers kept stopping the performance to tell the bachelorette she was ruining their show. But really, what ruined the show was how frazzled the performers seemed to be. It was a very bizarre exchange, and I think most people in the audience could have handled the feisty bride-to-be better than the performers.

The venue itself is kinda gross: red velvet curtains with fold up wooden chairs seating maybe 100 people. The performers come up to and into the audience, but not in a good way. One performer placed his "oragami" on the shoulder of two different guests .... ew. This is not the show I planned to attend. There is a photo opportunity ("the hamburger"), and one performer stood in front of us until we took our cell phones out and turned them back on, essentially demanding we take a picture of his junk morphed into a "hamburger." It was not funny, not playful, not fascinating, not naughtly, not lighthearted ... it was just, well, CREEPY.

The oragami itself was disappointing. They probably had 15-20 actual "poses" which could have been done in about 5 munutes. Now THAT would've been a good giggle. But the poses were nothing spectacular, not terribly creative, not an amazing display of human contortions or excessive stretching. Just meh.

But dragging out the mediocre poses for an hour with bad jokes, hostility towards their audience, and inappropriately touching guests made for an uncomfortable night. I was ready to leave after 15 minutes. I would have done so, but others who walked out got harassed by the performers, including the couple in front of us who got heckled and mocked as they left. We couldn't wait for this show to end.

We first heard about this show long ago and have been joking about seeing it for years. We were thrilled to see an ad for the show on our weekend trip to Vegas and absolutely could not wait to see this show!!!!!! Within minutes I knew we chose poorly. I'm so bummed we passed up all the other options Vegas offers for this.

I haven't visited the museum, but The Jewel Box Theater there opened an adult show 4/15/15 called Puppetry of the Penis. Bizarre and very, very funny! My husband liked it, and I LOVED it. Would be perfect for a bachelorette party in Las Vegas. Be prepared for two charming totally nude guys on a small stage who are attractive and very funny as they do genital origami. They take turns arranging their parts into various poses, like a hamburger, koala bear baby, Nessie the Loch Ness monster, and so on. You would not believe some of the results. The poses are shown on a live video screen so you won't miss anything. A woman opens the show with a great stand-up routine. The neighborhood is dicey and parking is very limited.

The best value is to be had via the Groupon offer, which gives 2-for-1 offers on the tickets. At this price it's good value.

We were greeted cheerily at the desk, told about the museum being on two floors and what to expect. The lobby itself has enough to give you an idea what you will see within. I went with my wife and two friends, all very broadminded people.

At the entrance to the museum itself we were "greeted" by two animatronic flashers, before moving onto the exhibits. There's a large section on sex education and sexual health, and another on sex scandals involving politicians and religious figures. These are interesting and informative. Move on and there's some large props from the porn "Star Wars" parody film, and ancient artifacts such as Chinese etchings, south American figurines, ancient dildos etc All fascinating and well presented. There's another exhibit mostly of a written timeline concerning US obscenity laws and specifically relating to the movie "Deep Throat". There's a graphic but quite erotic setup on electro-sex and another later on about bondage and S&M. These were provided by sponsors (ie the makers of the equipment). There's a good display of more modern sex toys which sadly (but perhaps understandably) one is not supposed to touch. A more hands-on experience of these would have been interesting and fun. My wife wanted to learn more about toys she hasn't tried.

There's a cinema showing a variety of material from vintage 70s porn to an educational animated film on trans issues. There's a gallery on male gay sex with both photos, videos and books. By the toilets there's a space where people can write down thoughts on sex and sexuality. Some people boast of things they have done, some leave quite sad message such as "I am polyamorous and don't know how to tell my boyfriend".

Truly there is lots to see and video screens are peppered about the space. The only criticism might be that there are no interactive exhibits and the full price tickets are a bit much. But If you're intrigued by my descriptions and photos (rather than put off) then you will enjoy it. The museum probably isn't for everyone, if you aren't in possession of a fairly open mind and are not interested in the history of erotic art, sex toys and in sexuality then this museum may not be for you. Obviously adults only.

Staff were friendly, the museum space is clean if a little sparse in places. There are postcards, books and other bits and bobs to buy in the lobby should you wish.

The building, next to a strip club reminded us of an '70's x-rated film theater. A little dirty, a bit seedy. Inside is the large store/display area. Not really much in the way of merchandise, with some displayed books and a large orgy type bedroom display.
We paid our senior rate and entered the museum. We spent two hours in there, but we read the displays.
We did not feel the museum lived up to it's name. It's more an attempt at the history of sex and the porn industry, not eroticism. The display on wicked Berlin was just a small history of a few famous people, and magazine drawings and covers and a pair of Eva Brau's underwear! As history, very little real info.
The timeline of the porn industry covered the basics, mostly about censorship and people getting arrested for making it. Not much detail.
The giant sex bike? Down for maintenance. It was just a few bikes welded together, with a tv on the handlebars, it vibrated when it got pedaled.
We enjoyed the old pottery and figurines, the erotic indian artwork and what actual historical objects they had, but the displays were set up poorly, with little documentation. The large video on animals could have been interesting, but the audio was 3 minutes behind the video.
There were several monitors showing actual sex all over.
Did we enjoy it? Some of it, some of it was just corny, some even boring. Would we go back? Nope.
Are we glad we went? Yeah, kind of. We didn't learn much, but it was mildly interesting. Just not erotic.
