It is unfortunate that Rick is no longer on American Restorations but it is nice to see that the shop is still open to see. We visited it last year on a tour and Rick was there and very welcoming. We also got to meet Kelly and Rick's brother Ron. Great hosts.

They have a small gift shop there and you can take a tour of the shop for a fee. They also have a small antique area where you can purchase items. It is a short walk from the SDX bus stop about 4 blocks. There is really not much to see here but if you like the show it is... More

Having watched the show, I was somewhat excited to see the operation. You walk into a gift shop full of the usual tourist trap stuff, and that was it. One lone cashier on her phone that could care less that you are there. $5 to see the boneyard that you can already see thru the fence in the parking lot,... More

The place is easy to access by car and has free parking in the property. To visit the store is free and you can pay for take pictures with Rick. He just appear for the public in specific times ( that time were at 14:30). They offer a guided tour for 5 dollars were you can hear about the main... More

I have gone to their shop several times over the past few years and have really enjoyed seeing the items they have restored and taking a tour of the shop area. The tours I took were free, but from other reviews it appears they are charging a tour fee now. I really enjoyed seeing all the personalities from the show.... More

I loved my visit to Ricks. They have a great free tour that shows you a lot about the shop and the people you recognize from the show. It's very interesting. Unfortunately Ricks isn't part of American Restoration any more.

If you know this place you will probably heard of it on TV. The first surprise is that it is real. The staff is the actual one you see on TV, you might even see Rick Dale...even if he doesn't really want to spend much time with the visitors but that's not what we were here for. Overall a great... Punched the address into our GPS and did not find the place our first attempt. Tried again a couple of days later and found it. They appear to have plenty of room to grow in their new location. The gentleman keeping on eye on the parking lot was very friendly and fun to talk to. Quite a few interesting things... More

It was really cool to see this place. As I pulled up near closing time, I pulled up and parked but hadn't realized I parked in Rick's spot. He pulled right up as I was getting out. That made it really cool. I then went inside and looked at the showroom and noticed things being packed up. They are in... More

My sister-in-law wanted to give them a 1 but I relented and am giving them a 3. It is what it is. A reality show that is making money off anyone who wants anything from a picture ($25 & up) to a tour or anything else. If you're a HUGE fan, go! Otherwise skip this one.
