I think from reading the reviews they have moved. I hate the way some of the people bashed on Rick's though. We had the pleasure to meet with Rick, Kelly, and their son and found them to be very kind. They took time out of their day of filming to talk with us and get some photos. Everyone has to retire someday and if that's why they are downsizing their celebrity than we wish them every Blessing. God Bless you Rick and Kelly in all that you do! Thank you for the entertainment and the beautiful restorations!

Heard nothing but great stuff about your business and the quality of work. We were looking to get our 150 year old metal yard chair and side table restored then found your in the process of a new location. Chair has waited 150 years so it can wait a bit longer. I will monitor when your new store is open

This was our second time visiting, but first at this location. Since they longer have the TV show you can take photos and videos on the tour. $5 a person unless you buy a shirt, then free ticket for each shirt bought. Seen Brettly leaving but didn’t want to bother him. Self tour and worth it.

I travelled 12000 km's all the way from Melbourne,Australia as I was a big fan of the show until I had a terrible experience in the gift shop...The incident happened on the 9/10/2013 & 10/09/2013.(Monday & Tuesday).

Before I posted this review,I did give them ample time to reply to my email about this incident with no reply from Ricks Restoration.

After I brief tour,I purchased some merchandise at the gift shop which included 2 coffee mugs(I got restored mugs) on 9/10/2013.When I got back to my hotel at MGM GRANDE that afternoon,I realised that I was charged for 3 Coffee Mugs, not 2(I have the reciets to prove it and there were witnesses on that afternoon)....I called Ally,Gift Manager(Rick's Daughter) explaining the situation and later appeared next day to explain the situation to her what happened and basically said I'm sorry and said you have already signed for it regardless what you purchased or have in your bag...When I approached Alfonso(the cashier)next day,he knew me by face from previous day and he knew there was a discrepancy and realized that I was charged for 3 coffee mugs, not 2....Brettly(Ally's Brother),later came into the room and I explained the situation to him and this when common sense was about to prevail and stated to his sister"Just give him the mug" and he was about to give me a mug but Ally stopped him from doing it....I couldn't believe what I just witnessed, but this has put a sour taste in my mouth....I was treated that I was nothing and she was using excuses that it may have come out of my bag or I left one at the hotel on purpose....I tried to explain To Ally that everyone makes mistakes, even STAFF MEMBERS.

One thing I tried to explain to Ally and make her comprehend....Would I spend my time, effort, money and to come to the store and to stooge or con Ally over a MUG and travelled 12000 Kilometres to your gift store to commit this act????....None of this would comprehend to Ally. This matter has nothing to do that I have lost money here but it has to do with the PRICNPAL Of the matter.

I thought this show was based on old moral ethics as I know Rick is old school stating how THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT and KEEP A CUSTOMER HAPPY ?...Ally,was very polite but has no idea how to deliver excellent customer service....Before I left in disgust,I explained to Ally that public forums does wonders to peoples reputation, especially a family runned business like this is that based ALL ON REPUTATION.Incidents like this will tarnish your reputation.

WARNING:If you intend to purchase any items from the gift store, please triple check in your bag and make sure it's what you paid for before you leave store.I DID NOT GET WHAT I PAID FOR....If anyone wants a further explanation on this matter, please contact me via Facebook.Thank-you.

We went to Ricks Restorations as part of the VIP Reality Tour and as they do not guarantee meeting the stars of the shows we were not expecting too but we had meet everyone so far on the tour and had photos and autographs with them all.

We we arrived at Ricks we were herded into a shed where he had a load of items you could buy that needed restoring and then herded into his shop with nice new restored items and merchandise.

When were told that we were going to meet Rick so everyone was excited, we were herded one by one into a corridor where we stood with him and his wife took a picture, (Now this is the Catch).... We were then shown around a conveniently staged workshop and then told that we can pick our photos from the shop area.

We went to look at our picture and I really liked it so I asked can we have the picture and the lady said yes for a fee $25 and if you couldn't collect the next day we would have to pay shipping so a total of $37. (What for a Picture with Rick !!!!!! ) we had 4x pictures with stars from other shows for free and autographs too ........... What a Con Rick, out of all the people i would have thought he would have been the most down to earth guy but proved he wasnt ...... Wont be going there again..................

It seems you paid more than $50 to visit our shop with that tour company when you could have come here for free. Sounds like you feel that everyone else in Las Vegas should be able to make money and not us. Sorry you feel that way but we are a real working business and nothing about my workshop is conveniently staged. We have a small team that works in different areas of this huge shop. I am sure you did not meet the actual stars of the other shows such as Rick Harrison or Danny at Counts. With that being said, I appreciate all of our fans that choose to visit our shop. Happy Holidays!

Thought this would be a fun place to visit, love the show on TV. The guide was rude to my husband who is handicapped and couldn't keep up with the rushed tour. He wouldn't let you look at anything except for a quick glance. no pictures and no questions, turned out to be a waste of time.

I am really surprised by your review as we are huge supporters of the Disabled Veterans of America. We have 2 male tour guides, Jake and Lamar. Jake is best friends with Dan, a disabled Veteran that has not only been on our show but is like family here at Ricks Restorations. I highly doubt he would ever show any disrespect to your husband. Lamar is our other tour guide and as you can see from a lot of the reviews on this page, he is loved by everyone! We take pride in our customer service and believe this review to be fraud.

My husband and I have been watching the show from Australia. Thought it would be great to meet the staff
How wrong we were! The staff are not interested and are very boring. They charge $5 for each person for a tour. Waste of time. Brettly walked passed without a smile or being acknowledged
Rick was standing on the other side of glass and didn't even bother to find out where we all came from. They have a sign stating that there is no charge if you live in Vegas, I find this to be an insult to tourists. Don't waste your time and money
Very rude and it's all about getting your money. Won't be watching the shoe again
Think fame has gone to their heads.

Six of us went around Las Vegas looking at many TV reality show shops - Rick’s was not up to par. We paid to go in the shop took 5 minutes to go thru and not much to see. Rick and his wife Kelly were there - she did stop and visit but Rick was very consumed with his project - five feet from him and not even a wave. You would figure the people that watch his shows or pay money to get in his place would at least get a acknowledgement- won’t be back

You gave us a bad review because I was consumed with a project. Hmmmm....You are visiting a real working business. We are very much involved with the daily operations and with windows into the shops we really don’t look to see if someone is looking at us. They are there for you to see us not for us to stand there and wave at people, it’s not a zoo. If we went to your job would you be able to not work and just visit with anyone that walked in the door all day long? We have bills like everyone else and have to work. Sorry you were disappointed and that your expectations were unrealistic.

Earlier this week we went to visit Ricks Restoration during our visit to Las Vegas. We were extremely excited to visit the 3 shows featured on history channel including Ricks Restoration. On Monday March 16th, we visited Ricks Restoration first, very excited for the tour. We purchased the $20 shirt deal which included FREE tour tickets (normally a $5 value each). During the tour which was at 3:45ish, we began in the single room tour. She showed use items and the shops featured in the show HOWEVER she was extremely uninterested in everything she talked about. During the tour she continuously was yawning and very mono-toned, her entire attitude ruined the tour for us. Purchasing the T-shirt and leaving would have left me more satisfied then completing the tour. I wouldn't recommend the tour unless you visit 7-3:30PM because the workers leave after 3:30 and you just end up looking into an empty shop.... LAME, Tour lasted 10 minutes and done.

We arrived and wee told that one person we were within was dressed inappropriate so they bought a shirt and we took the tour was the shortest tour in history and all they want you to do is get to the gift shop. The taxi ride was actually more interesting than the tour. I do however recommend Kounts Kustoms. That was an excellent tour and we had a very good time.
