This was our second time in Vegas. If you have ever been to Vegas, you know that it is expensive (at least $20 for women and $30/40 for men) to get into the clubs and the lines are looong, so we decided to give the club crawl a try. It was awesome! We met up at PBR at Planet Hollywood. They signed us in, gave us a wrist band (we think this was just so the hosts could identify us in the clubs) and a ticket for a free drink at PBR. We got our drink and had about 20 minutes there. We then boarded the buses (there were about 60 of us, so we had 5 buses). The buses were amazing. Very clean, cool lighting, great music, large TV screens with videos, and stripper poles. The hosts give out "shots", which are vodka and cranberry. Definitely not the best tasting (we all joked that it was rubbing alcohol), but if you want to get drunk, take advantage because you can't get a drink for less than $15 at the clubs. We went on a Saturday night, so went to PBR, 1 OAK (at Mirage), Haze (at Aria), and PURE (at Ceasers). The last stop was a strip club, but we opted not to go. If we would have, we would only have had about 20 minutes at PURE. Even though all the clubs are on the strip, the driver drives around between clubs giving enough time to party on the buses.
Hands down, our favorite club was 1 oak. Great D.J., not crazy crowded (probably because it was our first stop), and higher class clientele. We hated Haze! Way too crowded. Stood at the bar for more than 30 minutes and couldn't get a drink. The bartenders seemed to be taking all the free drink tickets from people instead of taking orders from people who were paying. Don't ask me why, but that is what is seemed like. The music wasn't great and even if it was, there was no place to stand, never mind dance. The people left much to be desired. Reminded me of an 18 and older club. Guys with their pants down their butts, hats on backwards, and sunglasses. PURE was ok. Decent music, easy to get a drink and cool rooftop area. Also, considering it was a Saturday night and after 2am, it wasn't that crowded. A lot of people, but room to stand or dance.
The party hosts tell you where and when to meet after each club stop. They also walk around the club with a lighted baton when it is time to leave to give you a reminder. It is kind of comical as 60 people walk through the casino (following someone with a lighted baton) on the way to the clubs. We got lots of stares but who cares, we were getting into the clubs and didn't have to stand in lines. The buses get crazier after each stop (as people keep drinking). There were dance off on the poles and I have never seen so many guys pole dance! We laughed our as**s off!
My only recommendation to the ladies is this...there is ALOT of walking from bus to club etc. and standing up in the clubs (because in Vegas, unless you are paying for VIP and bottle service, there is no where to sit---and let's face it, if you are considering the club crawl, you aren't doing bottle service LOL), pack some flats. We saw a lot of women doing this. The only club women are required to wear heels is 1 oak. Even the party host wore flats and just put heels on for 1 oak. I'm a trooper but by 3 am I had to take off the 6 inch heels!
Overall we would highly recommend Sin City Club Crawl! If the drinks were a little better, I would have given it 5 stars. We will definitely be doing it again on our next trip. You can't beat it. We found a coupon and wound up paying $48 a person. We got free shots, one free drink, got into three clubs without lines, and had a great time on the buses. Just the drink and club admission would have cost us $75! Definitely worth it.
