We took our ten son to Omega Mart in Area 15. We stumbled upon Virtualis VR and knew we had to give it a try. We did Patient Zero and thankfully had a fourth person join our group. This was the first time we have ever done an immersive / free roam VR experience. We had a blast! Joey, our helper from Virtualis, was wonderful! He was a huge help and we had so much fun we immediately booked to play the sequel, Lost City. I HIGHLY recommend going to Virtualis VR anytime you are in Vegas - TOTALLY worth it!

This was by far the best part of my adventure at Area 15 in Las Vegas. It's true, it's somewhat expensive (the only thing I regret is spending $$ at some of the OTHER Area 15 attractions). My recommendation would be, if you go to Area 15, do this FIRST, because (1) you might want to do more than one adventure and (2) your money is better spent HERE than on some other thing (I don't want to badmouth another attraction here) that's not worth it.
To talk about the VR experience itself: You get oriented completely to what will happen; the staff assists you in getting suited up; you and your friend(s) are led into your VR room, and the fun begins. It's amazingly realistic! If you've ever done an Escape Room, this will be similar, maybe more or less complicated, but fun like that, only better. We did the Temple of Diamonds adventure. At the end, they take pix of you (with your gear on) and email them to you. I don't know exactly how long the whole thing lasted, I don't think it was even half an hour, but if it hadn't been so expensive (sorry guys I'm on a budget), I'd have done a second adventure.
To talk about the staff: Very friendly, very knowledgeable, very helpful. We actually met the owners, Aiden and H, and got a photo with them. Super nice people. Clearly a lot of talent, time, and energy went into designing and creating this place.
I hope there's another Virtualis adventure in my future, but I might have to wait until they open a venue closer to me! Orlando anyone?!

This place is a MUST visit for gamers. If you love FPS games, if you love mob shooters, If you love Nathan Drake and Left 4 Dead this is the future for you. The staff was super engaging and helpful. Our guide was Gavin and he was an absolute King. The rest of the staff was super fun and happy. There was a British man who was hyping us up, a girl with blond and black hair who was giving us helpful criticism on how to ply next time. They clearly love what they do. And the experience, Holy S**t! This is the future of gaming, I would bet my bank on it. The game we played was Lost City, and it was essentially brings Left for Dead to the real world. Me and my team were running around and we could see out into the world. If entertainment does not embrace this technology, they have failed the world. Anytime I am back in Vegas, I am coming straight to this place, no questions asked. To the entire team at Virtualis, Bravo

My husband & I did the diamond skull adventure and it was so fun! You really feel like you’re moving through an ancient temple and you have to perform tasks in order to find the diamond skull. There are perceived“heights” in this adventure and if you have someone in your group with a real fear of heights, the game host can step in and guide that person to the other side, if needed. This was a very cool & immersive experience and I recommend checking it out. The staff was so nice, helpful & patient. John was our host and he is fabulous!

We did a trip to Vegas for a concert for my 9 and 11 year olds. So searching for appropriate activities was a bit of a struggle. I bought our experience on line and we intended to do The Lost World, with added tax it was pricey for a 20 minute experience. The price accommodates up to 5 people and definitely would have been worth it if it was not just the 3 of us. When we were registering the team suggested due to 9 year olds ( turning ten in a week) stature and age we should try something without a gun which adds weight, which clients her age/size tend to not last long. So we ended up doing the Diamond Skull instead. We are not video gamers and I felt as if our attended helped us out. Although we had on our headsets, I could still hear other "gamers" in their VRs. Even so, it was so much fun but I would definitely take a group of at least 5 next time and makes sure the group was at lease 12 and above. To bad there wasn't a quick video clip of us in the experience, but I definitely appreciated the picture at the end. I look forward to doing it again and trying out a different VR experience.

We really didn’t understand how incredible this VR experience would be. We did team kills that cost $60 per person. There were 4 of us. Parents versus our teens and they toasted us but all of us had a blast. In total was 45 minutes and it went by fast. We are trying to figure out how to do it again before we leave Vegas.

It was the most fun thing we did on our trip and we did a lot. The combination of hand & feet trackers in addition to the vest transformed us into full body armor. We looked like Halo Spartans or Ninja Turtles. Holding a multi-functional weapon vs controllers made it seem more realistic, as did taking steps to move room to room. The 3D graphics were awesome. We would definitely do it again.

Our family had an absolute blast at Virtualis VR. We did the Patient Zero activity and it was fun and engaging and only a little scary. From start to finish, we were taken great care of by our guide. He explained everything thoroughly and clearly and made sure we knew what was going on and how to use the equipment, etc. It was a great experience and we can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

The only (small) issue we had was that we booked a noon experience, and the confirmation email we received told us to “arrive early,” so that we could sign waivers and get oriented. However, because the venue inside of which Virtualis VR is located (Area 15) doesn’t open until noon, we were forced to wait outside until then. So, just be aware, if you book a noon appt, you won’t be able to enter early.

Since there were only two of us, we chose Patient Zero. (Killing zombies)

While it was fun, I kept having equipment malfunctions that really took away from the experience for me (wrist wrap kept falling off and headpiece would keep falling down) which I was told had been happening with their new Velcro straps.

I couldn’t concentrate on the game and changing weapons etc. because my helmet was falling down to wear I couldn’t see and the wrist strap kept coming undone. While I was trying to correct these issues I and my partner were being attacked by hordes.

For the price, I would have expected these known issues to have been addressed so as not to distract from more people’s experiences.

My daughter & I had high expectations for this, and the experience wasn't great because my headset kept going out and had to be reset. I commend them for fixing it but then we felt rushed. If we didn't find the clues right away they were too quick to tell us what to do to solve the problem. We both felt that they were just trying to push us along so we wouldn't set them back. It wasn't our fault that the headset went out and took them like 15 minutes to fix. I felt they should have offered us a "do-over" in one of their other games.

We paid over $100 for about 15 minutes of experience.
