Bring your selfie stick for this Las Vegas photo op as you enter or leave town. The city placed the original "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign in a pedestrian safe location with a small parking lot to avoid traffic jams and pedestrian accidents. Good move. And for the time being, at least, it's one of the few free attractions... More

Everyone should get a picture outside the sign. Just think of the people before you The history of the place starts with the sign

Our limo driver gave us a head's up about this fabulous sign and took us by here to get a picture. It does get crowded, so try to get there early.

You can't go to Vegas and not see the sign. We walked it from Paris but be aware it's a long long walk. It's south of Mandalay Bay and a good 10 minute walk from there.if you don't like walking then a taxi ride may be better for you

Was delighted to see this sign in the flesh as such. Came to Vegas en route to Hawaii , did not expect to fall in love with the place and cannot wait to come back.

What a great classic icon! When we visited this year, I was glad to see that the city has fixed up the area to accommodate people stopping by for photos. It used to be very dangerous, there was no space to really get off of the busy highway and you sort of took your life in your hands just to... More

Not a lot to say about this, except that it was great to see it for real :) had only ever seen it on tv before. We bought some fridge magnets and keyrings depicting this great sign.

Go early this sign packs a crowd. Buses come in and there are lots of cars and sight seeing tours. I got there about 0600 at first light

I wanted a picture under the sign, you can take a photo at the side if you dont want to queue, but its worth the short wait, and a great guy at thefront will take your pic you dont have to but its worth a couple of dollars I feel and elvis was there for the extra vegas feel
