Utilise the Deuce Bus to get there. There is a stop either side so get off the bus, take your photo, cross the road, get on the next bus back to the strip. Don’t queue with the other sheep, walk down the side and get a nice angle shot with a clear blue sky backdrop.

    Perfect Place For A Wedding
If you’re gonna get married in Vegas you may aswell do it here! Married by The Little Church of the West, as people who were not bothered about a traditional wedding, it was perfect. And at least you get a free audience with the queue of people lining up for their photos taken!

    Iconic Las Vegas Welcome Sign
An absolute must when visiting Vegas for the first time! Usually a long line, but if you’re not too concerned about taking picture directly under sign, you can quickly snap a few shots and selfies from off to the side without bothering anyone. Parking lot is small, but has open spaces due to the quick rotation of people. Also…parking is free which is a huge bonus in Vegas.

    Great photo opportunity
Go early to avoid the heat and the crowds. We bought a one day pass on the bus ($8) and got there by 8am. There was an unofficial photographer there who takes pics for you with your phone. Gave us good ideas for the best places to stand - worth a $5 tip

    Yes….It certainly is a sign 😁😂
Yea, great photo opp! Not much else to say about that ahaha. There will be a decent amount of people there but it was nothing overwhelming, I believe my father and I went for about 10:00 and maybe waited 10 minutes. You can either take the photo yourself or there’s usually someone there with Elvis or something.

Brilliant piece of Vegas history. A must stop for a selfie. Proper parking for easy access.
Massively popular sign you have seen in films and tv. Part of the history of Vegas. Great there is proper parking so you can easily get there by taxi or walk it if your hotel is nearby. Lots of photos. Good in day but best lit up at night. Popular place to go, safe and clean environment around. Popular selfie stop.

    It’s the vegas sign!
The vegas sign! It’s a must see when visiting vegas, you can’t visit vegas without coming here for a photo! Just don’t get scammed by the rude men wanting to take your photo for money, who get short with you when you say no! Plenty of friendly people in the queue who will take your photo for you.. just return the favour for them!

Must have photo op at Vegas
Pretty hard to write a review on a sign, when it's just a small static object but, yeah. Anyway, don't let Instagram follow you, there's a big queue here most of the time for people wanting to take that famous snap. Good thing is the line goes down pretty fast and people are all very friendly, we got some other tourists to take our snaps. Also, if you want this sign, don't get off the Deuce bus stop that says it's for the sign as the one after (heading south) is much much closer.

    Iconic Las Vegas Sign
A trip to Las Vegas is not complete without a kodak moment with the Las Vega Sign. There is a lot of symbolism with the design of the sign. It is a little south of Las Vegas but it is worth the trip

Nice stop but beware of the wait!
Site has a small parking lot and plenty of room for photos. I went during the day, early in the morning. I’m happy we went around 9am because the line slowly grew after we arrived. There is an in-official but helpful person at the front taking pictures for you for tips. You don’t have to use him or wait in the line if you’re fine taking your photo from the side. Very happy we went but I was very surprised with how busy it was so early! Consider taking a photo at the Harley Davidson’s Las Vegas sign too! It’s just a few steps toward the strip from the Las Vegas sign. No people and a cool photo too!

Vehicle Parking facility is neatly done and well maintained. From the look of it still some improvements are in progress along the driveways to the parking. Going there early in the morning is advisable, else long queues will greet. We went at 8 AM, even at that time there was queue. Post 8, there Will be lots of tour buses which will make a stop to take pictures is what a local mentioned.

After 6 visits to Vegas, finally made it to the fabulous Las Vegas sign. We visited at the start of our trip during the day and at the end of our trip at night. Both times there were lines for picture but everyone was respectful and waited their turn and everyone got their due time. There are “workers” at the front of the line that will take your pictures. The service is free and optional but it is worth the few dollars in tips for the shots they will get for you. During the day it was hot, but there were vendors selling drinks and snacks while you waited, so the wait did not seem that long. At night there were many intoxicated people there and not so sure I would take my young children there in the evening. The sign is definitely something that should be seen in Vegas and it is unfortunate we were not able to see it sooner.

It is what it is, an iconic sign greeting you on your ways into Vegas.
Room to park your car for a photo.

Apparently the creator of the sign passed and in her will, she wanted it leased to the city for one dollar a year so that it’s be kept.

We couldn’t leave Vegas without seeing the sign. It’s a little out of the way which surprised me since I kind of expected it to be near/on the strip. We drove (and I would assume you’d probably need a car/Uber to get there). There’s a free parking lot with seemingly plenty of spaces. We went fairly early in the morning (like 9am) and it wasn’t very crowded at all, only like 2 people in front of us. It’s very organized. There’s a line and you wait your turn, take your pictures, and then move on. I expected it to be wild trying to get a decent picture with other people but the organization was awesome. People were very respectful of the process. It’s a must see for sure!

My first picture of this sign was when I was a young child in 1981. The hop on hop off bus I was on did NOT stop at the sign but I was able to get some pics and video of it coming and going.

There is ALWAYS a long line during prime time but you can go off to the side and get a quick pic or come around sunrise.

There are stores all over Vegas with this sign as their marquee you can get a great pic without the line.

So I’m torn. If you haven’t done it wait in line and do it. If you’ve done it before check it off the list and move on.

This iconic sign is worth a quick visit to snap a picture during your visit to Las Vegas. There is a small parking area in the center of the road where you can park. The line was long when we arrived, but you can skip the line by ducking a little bit to either side of the sign, staying outside of the green area around the sign, and taking a picture from a slight angle. You'll have to wait a moment for people who are waiting in line, but there is always a moment when one group is leaving and the next moving into place. We got some nice quick pictures of our kids this way.

Fully understand the “it’s only a sign” comments but for many a picture at this iconic sign is a great memory from a once in a lifetime trip.

The sign is easily accessible from the strip and with free parking shouldn’t be a hassle. We opted to arrive at about 1630 to get the evening light (reduces glare on your photos: top tip) as once dark the neon glare will affect your phone camera quality.

There is an unofficial queue to take pictures on the mound in front of the sign and this is the best option should you want uncluttered, clean photos without other tourists in. There was a professional photographer in attendance, however most stick to their camera phones which are more than sufficient. A couple of homeless guys will offer to take group shots if you like (after tips I suppose) but you can get tourists in the queue to do that (probably safer).

The wait in the queue was about 30 minutes - if you can’t wait you can get pics from the sides but will have other people in your shots.

There’s literally nothing else here so it’s an hour of your time to get some cool photos for your Instagram etc.

We went early on a Saturday morning (8am) and there was already a line. The parking lot is small and when we got there, pretty full already. People respect the line, so hurry up and get in line to claim your spot.

Someone was at the front taking pictures of everyone, so I guess this place is staffed? When it was our turn, we gave him our phone and he took some really great photos for us. We probably waited at least 30 minutes for our turn, so be prepared to wait if you want a photo with no one in it, but it's worth it.

As we were leaving, a tour bus turned up with tons of people, so I imagine it gets really crowded later in the day. The tour bus people didn't respect the line and people who were waiting in line were getting frustrated because the bus people were in their shots.

It right at the end of strip and ow has a place stop to park. The line can get very long the locals suggested early morning or late night when everyone at the casinos.

We paid $20 to a guy taking photos who then airdropped them to us. It was worth get a family photos, plus turn out Awesome.

Many years ago you could not get to sign with out crossing the road. It seem that issue has been fixed.

First time to Vegas for my partners birthday, we stayed central strip at the Mirage Hotel.

Decided to walk to the sign, great walk with so much to see, took about 1hr to walk it, but we weren't walking fast as popped into some shops, stopped for photo opportunities etc :)

We arrived & there was a que for about 15mins, but there is a guy there working to keep the que moving & he takes pics with your own phone.

In my eyes this system works better than no que and a 'free for all' trying to get under the sign.

Close to Mandalay Bay, only 5mins or so away. A must visit if your in Vegas!
