Amazing!!!

Amazing!! I was passing through after leaving the Cirque du Soleil “O” show early I had come across the Richard MacDonald Art Studio, which I would have gladly paid the same as I did for the Cirque show, especially as I ended up spending around two hours looking at the various pieces of work and learning about the artist thanks to a fantastic sales agent, Miguel Angel Matos. I say sales agent though it did not at all feel like I was being “sold” rather it felt like I was speaking with the museum curator, who patiently walked me around the various works of art as well as sat with me and explained to me as well as showed me videos and literature about the artist and the way he creates his unique pieces of art; who if you never had the privilege of seeing his work, I strongly encourage you to do do, I promise you will not be disappointed. Ultimately this was the highlight of my trip and the beginning of a long journey to collect and display my collection of Richard MacDonald art, one down and many still to go! P.s. In regards to the Cirque du Soleil “O” show, they are extremely talented performers, and even though I left a little over half way through as it wasn’t my type of show or favorite Cirque performance, I have nothing at all negative to say and would absolutely recommend the show to others. This is why I love Cirque as there are a wide variety of performances and therefore something for everyone regardless of your preference.

Bonus at O
Mar 2020 • Solo
This art exhibit is in the lobby of O by Cirque du Soliel and was a lovely bonus when I went to see the show. The statues are exquisite and almost lifelike. They are all for sale and go from a mortgage payment to buying a house in price. There was one that I absolutely would have loved to take home with me but the price killed that dream.

Breathtaking

My cousins and I happened upon this gem of a place. It wasn't here the first time I went to see "O" so I wasn't aware of it until we were heading to brunch at the Bellagio. I'm very into all things art so this experience gave me goosebumps and brought me to tears. The most magnificent pieces of art and what brought me to tears was actually seeing the full life piece of the "Doves". I could feel the emotion and passion of Richard Macdonald pouring from that piece. This experience was made even better by Miguel Matos. He was so kind and patient and took very precious time to share stories of the pieces in detail. I was so happy I though to record him as he told the stories in such detail. I didn't want to forget a word or moment. He shared the stories behind my two favorite pieces.. the "Doves", "Blind Courage", "Blind Faith" and "Blind Trust". Miguel truly made this accident visit beyond amazing for me and because of this experience I will somoeday own a Richard Macdonald piece. His work is absolutely stunning and breathtaking. And I hope to even meet him one day. I started my investment by purchasing his beautfiul big coffee table photograph book. This was truly a visit well worth stopping for. It's free. If you like art, you'll love this exhibit.

Beautiful Sculptures...
Jun 2019 • Business
This is in the lobby where O is preformed so be sure to check the hours because you needed a ticket to the performance to access it when I saw it. But I am thinking it is probably open earlier in the day. The sculptures are so detailed and interesting, worth stopping by for a look.

A Beautiful Exhibit

We stopped in here on a rainy day in Las Vegas. The lady in charge was delightful to talk to and she shared such good information. The sculptures were extremely detailed and amazing in their detail. the theme was Cirque du Soleil and the dancers were on point!

A great artist

Richard MacDonald is obviously a great artist. I certainly could not do what he has done. It is worth seeing, but the texture of the statues is a little rough for my taste.

Amazing sculpture

The fortunate collaboration between Cirque du Soleil and Richard McDonald has resulted in amazing sculpture. I was in Las Vegas for an Anatomy Tools sculpture workshop and visited the gallery after hearing about him from our instructor, Andrew Cawrse. Amazing work and beautifully presented.

Amazing Art - and Free to Visit
Mar 2019 • Solo
This small gallery features the sculptures of Richard MacDonald. There are roughly 50 or so on display ranging in size from about 10” in height to life size. Each sculpture is incredible - expertly captures every muscle in the human models. A loop video shows the artistic process. If you’re interested, every work on display is for sale - NOT cheap!

Cirque Du Soleil
Mar 2019 • Couples
We passed this shop on the way to the Aria, the lady in the shop was very welcoming and allowed us to look around and also to take photos.
Wonderful sculptures depicting the artists of Cirque Du Soleil. A bit out of my price league but nice to see.
