The plusses were it is centrally located on the Strip in the heart of the action, there was a lot of dining and shopping nearby and it has a storied past . Unfortunately, no Vegas hotels appear to have coffee makers. Being early risers, and having to catch a bus for a day trip at 5:45am, it was a drawback. The earliest we could get coffee was 6am in the lobby and at $7 or $8 a cup, it was way overpriced. Booze was cheaper. So we ordered a small 4 cup maker and coffee from Amazon which paid for itself(we didn't rent a car and didn't plan to find a department store). Which leads me to: the $15 delivery fee to bring the package into Bell Services and the $5 Bell Services fee to walk the package to our room, despite our readiness to grab it and go. You get nickled and dimed for everything. But you don't know it will happen because there's no fact sheet about the hotel in the room. I get it. It's a touch point in a high turnover establishment. But the online TV "directory" had no information either. Which is why we didn't know the pools were only open from 9am to 5pm, required a room key and a valid ID. It would have been nice to take a dip about 7pm when the sun was gone because oh, it was 100 plus every day of our stay. Nope. But when we were resting in our 19th floor hotel room in the heat of the afternoon, we were treated to the daily pool party, complete with window vibrating bass. I suppose it was still better than the party the Mexican restaurant next door started at 3am our first night, which shook the windows on the 23rd floor and prompted our room change to the 19th floor. If I go back to Vegas, I would likely go elsewhere. The Flamingo was fun, but it wasn't a good fit.

Flamingo is one of the lower tier Caesars properties but they have renovated rooms that are pretty nice. The casino isn't particularly impressive and the high stake rooms are laughably bad, but for budget gamblers the casino isn't bad. Restaurants don't feature any top tier options but plenty of food court and mid-cost options.

Located in the "center" of the Las Vegas Strip. The Flamingo is a very large casino with all the popular table games in the pit. They have many older and newer slot machines. The staff are very friendly. They have several bars and lounges. Very nice William Hill Sports Book. Dining options are limited, but there are many restaurants nearby. I took photos of my visit.

I have been staying at the Flamingo each year for the past 16 years. I'm a Platinum member.I booked this trip (6/29-6/30) in April 2022 for me and two friends. Booked a
Neopolitan suite for the extra space and website said it had a tub, which I need to
soak my feet each night (bunions/blisters). The first room had no tub and the phone didn't work. Went to reservation counter and manager told me only the upper floor suites have tubs.Rebooked me into Room 22107 which he assured me had a tub.
It didn't. Went back to reservation desk and a different manager kept say yes, that
room had a tub. She sent the Housekeeping Manger to look and that manager told her she could not see a tub. Despite the signs all around the lobby that said Room Upgrades Available, the manager told me they were booked solid and could not give me another room. So my friend and I were stuck with Room 22107 and I soaked my fee in two trash cans that I moved into the shower. The shower had black mold at the top and threshold. The sink faucet was coming apart. I had to call maintenance to repair the safe, housekeeping to get enough bedding, toiletries and linens for 3 people. It took 3 hours to get all this done. Three hours of time wasted that could have been spent eating and gambling. On check out morning I told the reservation manager on duty about the problems and asked if they would comp the room. He was not nice and kind of snickered and said "No!!"
I asked if they would comp the resort fees and he said he would have to check and he would call me back within the hour (when I was going to check out). I never received a call. After three weeks of calls and written complaints to The Flamingo, Macy in Guest Services finally called me and comped the resort fees. However, I will never stay at or recommend the Flamingo again.

I traveled to town and stayed one night, which believe me, was more than enough. I am not used to parking my own vehicle, yet, that is something that I was going to attempt to deal with. The only people that were covered were the workers, it was told to us, that if we want to leave the room, a mask was required, perhaps 1 out of 20 people had protective gear on. We make our way to checkin, 30 minutes past checkin time. I am told that my room was not ready, the look on my face said it all, they arranged a new room by the time I could even open my mouth. They charge $40+ for the resort fee, no parking, limited workout hours and a dangerous pool gathering for this fee. The upside to the upgraded hotels, they've cleaned it up nicely in the area that we were in. 10 years ago, decomposition was a more pleasant odor. Today it is breathable.

You get what you pay for. They nickel and dime you throughout the stay.... $40 extra to check in early for a room that was already turned and ready to use, you can't bring your personal beverage to the pool area because they want you to use the poolside cash bar, the happy hour prices are as high as the dinner prices at nearby eateries. The place lacks ambience. It's like they stood still while time passed by. Even the renovated areas fail to keep up with modern day reform.

Great location on the strip, but very dirty and run down rooms. Would expect more from a place that charges $40 in resort fees per night. $40 more for what? Peeling wall paper, lights that didn’t work, a hole in the bathroom wall, hair on the floor, very poor high speed internet, and DNA all over the bed skirt. The hallways are filthy and paint chipping. Money needs to be put back into the place because I assume it was nice at one time. Very disappointing to say the least. This was our first trip to Vegas and we will be back, but will never stay at the Flamingo hotel again.

Hope you don't need help with checking in because you are only working with a kiosk and if you have a question that you need a human person to answer be prepared to wait. There is only like 2 people working behind the counter. Covid-19 apparently isn't any concern at The Flamingo because there is no hand soap in the rooms, we started using the body wash dispenser in the shower but that along with the shampoo and conditioner dispenser didn't work and we're empty. Need ice? Well someone is "getting right on it" it was suggested that we use a different floor. At least we can get a cold drink from the vending machine right? Also don't work. So if you're like me and find yourself needing a soda remember your wallet with your key. My husband and I left the room and he said he had his wallet so I left mine. We return only to realize he didn't have his room key so we go back down the those employee-replacing kiosk and selct the "key" option, it gave us 4 options to confirm who we are driver license, passport, government I'd or your confirmation number. I gave the confirmation number and then ilthe next screen said it need a driver license, passport or government ID.....why give me the first set of options? So we wait for a person because I didn't have my ID. I asked the last if my husband's ID or his credit card that was used to pay for the room would work. No it had to be who's name the room was under l. She said she'd send security up to meet us at our room and let us in and check my ID. So we wait and wait, 20 minutes later I call the from desk, they transfered me to security and I asked this guy when someone would be up? He said no one had called for them and that someone would be there soon. After waiting and total of 35 minutes someone arrived and told me to keep up with my stuff because "we can't expect them to be there quickly because they had real emergencies to deal with"

This is not the kid friendly experience that they share on their website. The pool they have open for the kids is smaller than my community pool and they have this enormous pool that everyone could enjoy but it is for 21 and older. The slides they advertise are not working. If they don't want families staying there then they should make it for adults only. The new updated rooms are done very cheaply and not cleaned up very well. We had 4 rooms and all of them had issues in them. Totally disappointing for family gatherings.
