So many shows to see in Vegas, but we decided on Jabbawockeez for our family (2 teenagers) based on the excellent reviews. Small intimate theater that allow the dancers to interact with the audience. Our only regret is we did not have good seats (row F) and could not see very well. The seats were not cheap seats and I was disappointed! The guy in front of us was taking video on his phone and blocked about a third of our view so I basically watched the show from his phone! I would highly recommend this show and I would see it again. ! My kids loved it.(and even got some merch!) But I would suggest either first 2 rows or rows higher than row F.

Other reviewers, did you see the same show we did? We have been to dozens of Vegas shows and this one put us to sleep. Maybe if we were pre-teens and had unobstructed views, our opinion of the faceless dancers would be different. Admittedly, there are talented dancers, but little in the way of variety, just music and dancing.... no acrobatics, no juggling, no comedy, no WOW factor.

I came to realize very quickly that the dancers on stage were not the Jabbawockeez. The real Jabbawockeez are smooth, crisp, and insane dancers. The sub par dancers that they sent out there were garbage. Their moves never resembled the real Jabbawockeez once. I hear members of Super Crew fill in for this show and maybe some other scrubs off the street. You can tell by their body types and height that these were NOT the Jabbawockeez. I feel like someone just stole my lunch money after this lackluster performance. There is far too much goofy acting and second rate moves to be labeled as a Jabbawockeez production. Just watch videos on Youtube after the show to compare the crap at MGM and the real thing. You tell me if I am wrong or not.

Their dancing was mediocre it was apparent from the start these were NOT te real jabbawockeez bc their dancing sucked, could not pop and lock it at all, some breakdancing but it was a lot of miming and slow dance moves which wasnt impressive. I felt it was false advertising to call this sad group the jabbawockeez. I was angry i wasted time and money here when i couldve had a great time somewhere else. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOW

I've been a Jabbawockeez fan for many years. Always looking for new stuff on the internet and enjoying their creative outfits, music productions and the group harmony.
After their Prism show got good critics and a few excerpts showed up in public routines I planned a trip around the globe centered on seeing the Jabbawockeez live. Probably for the only time in my life. But sadly I didn't care much about any reviews. Big mistake!
What happened?
I saw a show for about 220-240 people that is run about ten times a week and a seat costs more than $100 on average. The $90 seats just see about 40-60% of the stage, the mid row seats cost $130+.
Back to the show: There was some new theme about dream and zombie stuff in the beginning, a few beamers throwing visuals on a small empty stage. But everything seemed so far off from their beloved creative team routines. Until the very end there were max 5 Wockeez dancing as a group at a time - and always this "PJ" character clowning around and in between everything. Meant to be funny. But I'd say it was as funny as Jar Jar Binks. And as annoying.
Got a few goosebumps here and there when some popular routines kicked in (iPhone, Devastating Stereo, Bumrush) but they only endured for like 20 seconds with 4-5 wockeez and then some clowning around happend again.
It seemed like a "best of 10 years" montage with only 10-15 seconds of the best moves being put together.
In summary the show was about 15 minutes of dancing, 15 minutes of pantomime to some voiceover sound and 30 minutes of crotchgrabbing and humping audience interaction.
I was so disappointed about the whole show that it comes close to a heartbreak. There was hardly any "new" stuff, they just recycled a few simple old moves, old costumes and old tunes and danced it often out of synch.
I don't know whether they are not hungry anymore or if they lost their creative drive after their almost-breakup. My guess would be that they have so many new members and "ringers" to stem 10 shows a week that they can't do proper team routines anymore.
Honestly I think it's nice that so many Wockeez can live off their passion now. But I despise that you lure people in given your former reputation and then completely rip them off through horrible seat prices and the bar. If I want to see people dryhumping and crotchgrabbing I pay $5 for the local club. Not $100 at the MGM. And if I watch the last 3 NBA final shows on youtube it's pretty much everything you did on that evening on the show. Except for the crotchgrabbing.

Hopefully they will rethink all their doing at some point to focus on their dancing again instead of being commercially successful. Bigger stage, better show and you get the same audience with two shows.
But until then you're the tourist attraction MGM lets out once a day to have people say "aww cute, they have masks on".
But how did the wockiez tell in their shallow storyline?
"Wake up. Don't be a zombie."?
In my opinion the Wockiez became the MGMs zombies. Let's wait for them to wake up.

The theater is small and not well designed. No one in the back can see. We had seats that were supposed to be able to see the show and sit at tables in the back. The staff is extremely rude. They seated people throughout the entire show, crossing in front of us 19 times with flashlights while the show was on. I spoke to the Manager afterwards who said "it is not my decision, the Jabbawockeez tell us to not turn anyone away no matter how late." I said we had an obstructed view and disturbances the whole time and she said, "well it's designed that way, nothing we can do about it." Twenty minutes before the end of the show they seated two loud drunk people next to us. They kept yelling "be better" at the stage. This is the kind of experience you can expect. As for the performance, there is a lot of pre-recorded material and the actual dancing, (what we could see) was less than average for a hip-hop dance group. The original Jabbawockeez was a talented bunch. This group uses the tired Vegas ploy of calling up audience members to make them look foolish. The dance is all referential and not even close to the performers they are imitating. There are much better shows in Vegas. Don't waste your money on this, you will be disappointed.

I don't see how people watch this show and think it is a good show. This group killed it on ABDC and are so talented. Whoever the manager of this show is can't possibly watch it and say, "We really did a great job." First of all, the seating is not stadium seating, so if you have kids and then some big people sit down in front of you, good luck having them see anything. Second, the theater is curved a bit, so if you sit on the ends you will have some really bad views.

I came to see a dance show. they must have forgot about that key word: Dance. Here is what they do. The show tries to tell a story of one of the group members characters' dreams. Each dream having a certain theme. Well, I have a new theme for each dream and act: Lame, stupid, boring, I want my money back theme. The character is running around in pajamas trying to be funny and comical. This is a dance show, I didn't pay money to see some idiot character try to entertain us via running mans and mime antics. Just when the group gets going in what would seem as an awesome dance routine, the pajama character comes out and ruins it by trying to act funny. I paid for a dance show and I got a NickJr show instead.

During the middle of the show they spend almost 30-40 minutes with someone on stage doing another comedic act. I want to say the entire show is 1.5 hours long and maybe 20 minutes of that is worth seeing and is actually dancing.

the Jabbawockeez are a dance group not comedians. Don't get fooled into thinking this is a dance show. It seems they have built their show for comedy entertainment only and to cater towards children.

I can't see how this group, the groups manager, the groups choreographer, and even MGM are satisfied with the product. Clearly they can do a lot better.

Spend your money elsewhere.

I first saw jabbawockeez a few years ago at Monte Carlo .. it was amazing then .Last night after about 20 minutes sitting in the freezing cold I just wanted to leave. They have incorporated audience participation and its so cringe
The dancing has almost dissapeared.. I mean the stage they have now is tiny compared to before . I used to be mesmerised by this group and now it feels they have given their masks away to a small ameture school dance group struggling to make it. I paid $84 for a seat to see this group and wasted my money .

Have been a huge fan of them since season 1 of abdc. Always wanted the chance to see them. Guess my expectations was too high. A good show but not as great as I thought. The dance skills were subpar. But overall a good show especially for those that never heard of them before. But for the hard core original fans, not worth it

I am not sure who is advising this crew but their emphasis is on the wrong thing. They have moved away from their personal experiences and artful story telling through dance, to a routine that is torturous to watch. Their skits situated between the dance scenes were "tone deaf" to what is going on in Hollywood (and beyond) with regards to sexual harassment and sexism. I was appalled by the nature of skits and felt that they were worse than what you might expect from stereotyped drunken frat boys. I think this show is not "family friendly" and is setting an example for children that is destructive. Most people in the audience were not entirely sure how to respond and there was a level of discomfort that was palpable. We left the show and spoke with a manager. We got a full refund, but I still think people need to know what the show is about. Management needs to reexamine the focus of the show and the message they are putting out there; time to get back to the dancing and positive storytelling that made the group so popular on TV. In addition, the theater set-up is not great and the tickets are overpriced for the experience. We took our refund and got wonderful seats to a Cirque performance instead.
