We've been to the Magical Forest for the last two years in a row. It really is a nice family experience, BUT... prepare for the COLD. It was very chilly both times. And try to go early and avoid weekends because it gets very crowded and that takes the fun out of it.

I've lived in Vegas for over 15 years and only have been to the Magical Forest a few times when i first move here. I don't remember it being this big and beautiful as it was this year! There is stuff to do here for every age! There is a auditorium with gingerbread houses made by Casinos (see photos) and there was a choir singing Christmas carols, also there was hot chocolate available to buy (at a really reasonable price). There wasn't too many vendors besides that tho. But the forest was something to see. Houses and villages made by businesses through out the valley, coated in lights, there is a train (for kids or adults) that goes thorough the forest that i'd highly recommend! Vegas isn't really a Christmasie place but this helps!! See my photos for a sneak peak!

I used to come here every year and for $15 per person, it was worth it. Now Opportunity Village FORCES EVERY PERSON to upgrade to their passport ticket to get access to their crappy rides. I am not paying nearly $50 for two people to go to Opportunity Village. It's a waste of money just to see several trees decorated for Halloween and Christmas (depending on when you go). I am sorry to leave this bad review but I have to be transparent about the unfair price.

It magical in that people actually attend more than once. The entry price does not equal experience. Like a lot of things in Vegas, what is sold/advertised to you does not live up to expectations. the tree forest was kind of a snooze fest. ive seen better walking in neighborhoods at Christmas time for free. if you want to get horn swoggled into a time share, by all means attend and check out what's in the building.. lol

This place costs $25 for adults. All of the rides and entertainment are for kids not adults. They don't tell you that in any of their advertising. If they say they have a Forest Express Train, Avalanche slide, and Rudolph's Raceway, they need to put an age on them so teenagers know that these are little kid rides. Pretty much the only thing for teenagers or adults is the magical forest. So if you have children and can get coupon discounts, it might be worth it, but if you are just going as a teenager or adult and paying full price, don't waste your time. This place used to be free, and if you wanted to donate, you could. Now, they think it's as good as the Adventure Dome?...not even!

I know this is such a great cause but I was a little disappointed. Understanding most of the people helping are volunteers we had some hiccups this visit. First I bought my tickets ($82 for 5 people) and the person held all the tickets at once as she scanned and told me one of my tickets had previously been scanned. Not possible. We get that worked out and were never given trick or treat bags. Which is fine. We brought our own and didn't notice they were giving them out. After we made it half way through the "forest" those giving out candy straight up accused us of trying to go through twice. There weren't a lot of stations, seems like a lot of work to get a few pieces of candy. We bought extra tickets for the train and ended up paying $98. That's a lot of money to pay to then scam opportunity village out of $.50 worth of candy. I understand they probably do have people scam them so I shouldn't take it personally but I feel like it is worse to treat innocent children as criminals than to just give them candy. Hopefully they train their volunteers better and we will stick to going at Christmastime. Make sure you hand them your tickets one at a time so they don't accidentally scan two at once and if you go at Halloween- get your bag and your map.

Although it was expensive it still was quite beautiful. The rides are really for kids only, but adults could go on the train and not look dopey. If you bring a small bag of canned goods or groceries you get 2.00 off admission. I think the price should be less like maybe 6.00 and 4.00 if you bring a donation....they certainly could charge less and for big families the price is way to much.

So much fun to see all the trees. We also enjoyed the rides- especially the train. What a nice annual tradition. Next year I want to check out Halloween time at Opportunity Village.
