Resort fee Venetian (35 Replies)
I just read about the resort fees. Is this a fee per person or per room? (as if you don't pay enough for the room in the first place!!) I found the resort fee includes: * Daily access to the Complete Fitness Center located inside the Canyon Ranch SpaClub for up to two guests * Unlimited in-suite high-speed internet access * Unlimited local and toll-free telephone calls * Daily newspaper Is the complete fitness centre just the gymnasium? Or do we get to use the spa waters etc....More

As above, I'm guessing one has a view and the other doesn't ?! For an extra $160 I can get a room with a view plus: * In-Suite Dining – Daily Continental Breakfast for Two * Valentino or The Grill at Valentino – 20% total food bill * Zine Noodles Dim Sum – $30 off a bill of $60 or more * Canyon Ranch SpaClub – $35 off a 50-minute massage or facial * Salute Dueling Pianos Lounge – 2-for-1 well drinks * LAVO Nightclub – Complimentary line pass and admission It is the...More

That sounds like a good deal. 2009 we stayed in the Venetian at the Luxury King Suite, and upgraded while we were checking in by an extra $60 total for our 3 nights. The view was great! Had the pool and strip w/the Mirage Volcanos in view as well as the rumble of the cannons at the Sirens show at Treasure Island. Its a really big hotel room. We stayed just under the villas on the highest floor. Good luck. tripadvisor.com will assist alot with the planning of the vacations. We did not use this...More

Canyon Ranch Spa (11 Replies)
I took a look at the spa menu/prices and tell me if this is correct - at most spas, when you purchase a treatment, you have free access to the fitness center, sauna, whirlpools, etc...am I reading correctly that at CRS if you purchase a treatment you still must pay an additional $20 to use the rest of the facilities? And this is on top of paying the resort fee to just use the fitness center? I'll try to C&P the part that has me confused: Canyon Ranch SpaClub Passport Enjoy the beautiful...More

I do not know about the prices. CR expanded when the Palazzo opened so I am guessing they made it bigger then it used to be when CR was just for the Venetian. I walked through CR in 2001 and thought it looked a bit plain/bland so left after the walkthough and went to Spa Mandalay. Maybe CR is bigger better now compared to 2001 becuase of the expansion they did to the spa when Palazzo opened. Encore's spa is supposed to be large and very nice.
