Description:

Royal Links was built to honor the rich history and tradition of the game...

Royal Links was built to honor the rich history and tradition of the game of golf. Designed by Dye International, this links-style course features holes inspired by eleven different British Open rotation courses, including the Road Hole and Hell Bunker from the Old Course at St. Andrews and the Postage Stamp from Royal Troon. Other courses in the loop include Carnoustie, Turnberry, Royal Liverpool, Prestwick, Royal Lytham, Muirfield and Royal Birkdale.Monuments were erected at various locations throughout the golf course indicating the spots where great moments in British Open history took place. A Champions Wall stands near the all-turf practice range honoring American champions of the British Open.

Golfers may choose to engage the services of a professional forecaddie adding to the "Scottish" experience. These forecaddies are knowledgeable about the history of each hole, as well the location of the 108 pot bunkers, some of which are hidden. Walking caddies are also available and are required for those who choose to walk.

Royal Links was recognized as the "Best Course in Las Vegas" in the 2006 Review Journal "Best Of Vegas" poll and one of "America's BEST Courses" by GolfWeek. Located less than 20 short minutes from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the castle-style clubhouse hosts a nationally recognized golf shop, which was ranked as one of "American's Best 100 Golf Shops" in 2004 & 2005 by GolfWorld Business. It is stocked with name brand apparel, equipment, quality art and collectables. The shop also offer rentals of the Callaway X2 HOT clubs and FootJoy shoes.

The clubhouse is also home to Stymie's Pub, an authentic re-creation of a British pub, serving traditional fare like fish and chips, bangers, as well as breakfasts, salads and sandwiches. An on-course beverage cart service is also available. An English style call box is available at the 9th tee, providing golfers the opportunity to order lunch as they make the turn, or to have the meal delivered to them on the course.

Adding some gaming excitement to the round, Royal Links offers a "Beat The Pro" challenge for all golfers who wish to test their skill against course personnel on a Par 3 "closest to the hole" contest for merchandise credit in the golf shop. Royal Links Golf Club is also features the ParMates program, a female caddy service that was designed to add a unique extra experience to your round of golf.

Fun Golf Course

This course should only charge maximum of 80$ to play there course as it's high season down in Vegas and the place is in terrible shape, I can see why the tee sheet was basically empty when I went, greens rolled aright I guess but most of the rough is littered with garbage so not sure what's going on there,... We choose this golf course to play in Las Vegas due to its quirkiness of holes, each a different golf course from around the world. When in Vegas, whacky and quirky is a must. The drive in is pleasant and the cute Castle style clubhouse is quirky with a claret jug statue on the roundabout. With a quick easy bag... More

I played Royal Links at 7am on Nov 1st. This is a seriously fun track. Lots of variety in holes and design, but not really a true links course in the Scottish sense. I love to play close to the ground on a links course, and that really was not possible on my visit. This winter season the only overseeding... More

Not sure I would pay, >$150, but had a Golfnow for $112, and well worth that. They were reseeded the Gold Tees, and moved the Gold up (eshort), or back (LONG!), so a few holes we played were really long. Course in excellent shape, staff friendly. Only drawback were beer cart prices ($5.50 for a Bud Light. Really?)

The course does a great job of showing what the Pro's go through while tackling the Open Championship rota of courses. Greens were inconsistent. Some fast some slow. Yardage book was FREE!! Only free thing in Vegas! But, they made up for it in Pro Shop. Least expensive shirt was $89!! 2 sandwiches were $31. My wallet took a beating... More

Played at the course labor day weekend 2016. First, the service is INCREDIBLE. Those guys really know how to make you feel well taken care of. The layout of the course is also fantastic. Now...the condition of the course was not as great as should have been. Greens were a little rough. On almost every green, the hole was damaged... More

Really facinating to play British Links courses in Vegas. We had around 35 degrees C (98F) but still I enjoyed my time here. Due to the dry climate the course the grass was lacking from water, it was little brown and they are doing some maintenance around the green, this means that there where areas of missing grass, would have... Royal links gives you the opportunity to play a number of holes inspired by famous links courses in the desert. If you choose the twilight rate the price is very fair. The course is in good condition and very recommendable. It is only 20 minutes from Las Vegas Boulevard.

I will say I enjoyed my time at the Royal Links. Had a great experience from the gentleman outside, the pro shop, and the bartenders. All where super friendly and nice for everything. I just don't get that in Colorado courses. Thanks I will be back on my next trip!!

Has a golf outing with a friend of mine. We had 4 courses lined up to play. This was the first and we were hyped based on all reviews we had seen. To be fair we played on arguably the hottest day of the year and the first day of Summer. It was 117 and that's a conservative estimate. It... More
