stopped here on the way to the Grand canyon. Wow we got to take the full tour. Now mind you you will have to jump though hoops to go on the tour. It is worth it.

I really enjoyed the Hoover Dam and spent a few hours sitting around that area, Unfortunately there was no tours that day, with only a 45 minute drive from Vegas its a must do!

The bypass is nice, great for expedient travel. Still prefer to cross the dam. The dam is an excellent tourist attraction good for a full day. Sadly the great state of California is draining Lake Meade and the Colorado River to a point that can...More

This is one of the places southern Cali gets their water from, so I wanted to see it. It is worth going to. How awesome it is and what a feat to build. Amazing!

This is definitely worth seeing if your are visiting Las Vegas. My wife and I had this as part of a west rim Grand Canyon tour. I wish we had more time to spend as the views were spectacular.

if you can, plan for the whole day. there is a lot to see both inside and outside. plan for plenty of people to be there which will take some of your time up .

We rented a car. However, while we were at the dam and bridge, we saw several tour buses. I guess you would have to see if the tour stopped at the bridge.
