We took our teen boys to do the jump and they loved it after getting over the sheer terror of jumping off the building, We booked online and had a good experience all the way around. Parking at the Strat is free and from there you check in at the Sky Jump store. They got the boys suited up quickly and took them up. They call out their names so the people waiting inside know when to go out and see them jump. We did it in the last time slot (9-10) and views of the town all lit up were great.

The whole thing was an excellent experience. From Check in to jump the employees were kind, knowledgeable, fun and most important safety conscious. They were extremely professional and safety checks were performed no less than 4 times. I felt safe so I could really enjoy the jump. Can't wait to go back again.

I would do this again in a heartbeat! Some people may not find this thrilling but to each his own. I loved it! I did a nighttime jump and the views were great, the fall was controlled but still a thrill at 45 mph & a 17-second fall. I was very happy I was able to keep my glasses on. The safety checks were many. I asked for a little push off the edge but was denied. :) It's all up to you to take that step. Don't ponder or dwell on it, just take the step. I'm not a big fan of heights and hate being on ladders, let alone stepping off a ledge at 855 ft up. This was well worth it and maybe a bit of a confidence builder too. I bought the package with the video camera, and you walk away with a video of your jump on a flash drive, very cool to see it on video later. A friend stood in the viewing area and took a video of my jump on my way down. That was neat to see as well.

First let me say I am petrified of heights. I dragged my friend down to sky jump determined to conquer my fear. The staff was amazing. I was so nervous and they answered all my questions, even while I was on the plarform. Safety checks were performed 4 times by 4 different staff members.
The hardest part was holding onto the edge of a very small platform while waiting for your countdown to jump. Once they say go, let go of your hands and the cable safely pulls you out from the ledge and the descent begins. You feel the tension from the cable immediately and the fall was so controlled. I never felt out of control or unsafe. I went from extreme fear to exhilaration in 2 seconds. I would do it again.

Great experience for the brave of heart!! Exciting, thrilling, unique and a lot easier to step off a 855 foot ledge than you may expect. Staff were super professional, checked, double checked and often triple checked all equipment. Check in was easy, outfitted quickly in a jump suit and harness then up you go to the platform. Staff on the platform checked all the equipment again, twice, and talked me through the whole process. Harnessed up to the cables, balanced on the edge and stepped off when told to. Then the drop of a lifetime!! I purchased the web cam package, definitely worth it if you want the full proof to show friends. Landing was super soft ... bring your friends to cheer you on at the bottom!!

Like many have stated previously - call to check first if it's operating as it often closes due to wind/weather. I'd also recommend making a booking as walk-ups don't seem to be too readily available.

After a couple of false starts with closures, I finally got to jump and it was definitely a worthwhile experience.

The worst part is the anticipation, but once you're all hooked up on that ledge, just listen to the attendant's countdown and leap!

This was a great part of our adventure in Vegas and I would recommend to anyone to try. I recommend reserving your time online first and then showing up early. This jump is only about 15 seconds long, but the line can take you upwards of an hour to get to your turn. There were a few negatives. The seating while waiting for your turn is ridiculously uncomfortable, just adding a cushion to the bench would be great since you can be sitting there for an hour waiting. Signage for checking in could use tweaking, many people walked right in and immediately went the wrong way. Many of the staff were more interested in chatting with each other than helping and informing customers.

I first witnessed what I thought was a suicide jump, heading to Freemont Street one night, and then realized it was thrill ride. That was 10 years ago. Then about 3yrs ago I tried to make a reservation, but it did not work into my schedule. Finally this trip it all came together. The staff was great, they went way above and beyond safety precaution, checking, double and triple checking your harness. I had made my first tandem skydive the month before and did not get this much attention. Once on the platform, the view is a bit intimidating, but when your standing on the edge, and they make the countdown, do not hesitate, just bail off. Unlike skydiving, you have almost instant resistance and full confidence in the fall and can totally enjoy the view and the ride. If you just want a taste and feel of a skydive, this is sort of it, without the major rush. But otherwise no comparison. Would I do it again, heck yeah.

Had an amazing experience doing the sky jump. We booked online prior to travelling to Las Vegas to ensure we wouldn’t miss out. Check in was a breeze. They suited us up and took us to the top to jump. I felt safe the entire time and you are checked and rechecked about 4 times by different people to ensure you are safe. The jump itself was amazing. I paid for the video package and upon returning to the UK the USB stick would not work, but I contacted the company who sent me the digital files. It is a truly fantastic experience and the highlight of my vegas trip. Some of the staff lacked enthusiasm, but I can let that go as had such a memorable time

For the good: It felt very safe with many repeated safety checks by multiple people and the actual jump itself is very fun!

As for the bad... This thing landed hard. I've seen others say it's a soft landing so maybe something just went wrong with mine, but I had a not insignificant amount of speed when I touched down and even with following all of the safety guidelines like bending my knees, I still felt a jolt of pain surge through my foot on landing. It wasn't mangled or anything dramatic, but it is still hurting the next day. I've done various other activities like skydiving and this has definitely had the worst landing of any of them.
