The thing about Vegas that is cool. Is everything goes. Especially in old Vegas. You will be walking around and see show girls, people dressed as characters from movies and TV shows. Plus I think the bars down here are better than new Vegas. The drinks are cheaper and you just seem to have a better time.

The Fremont East District is the area along Fremont Street adjacent to the popular Fremont Street Experience but on the other side of Las Vegas Boulevard. It is a more laid back, down to earth area with bars, restaurants, comedy clubs, and music venues. It is a bit gritty, but it is an area worth exploring if you are downtown.

So this is kinda of a short strip but there's tons of fun between both ends. From zipline to street performers to hair bands, from various restaurants to shopping, you'll need at least a couple hours to see it all. This is only for pedestrians except a couple spots where roads cross through, it's super well lit and easy to navigate. Not sure about bathroom locations. Very very fun.

I have been to Las Vegas about 30 times or more and have been to Fremont Street (Experience ) many times. The Fremont East District is part of Fremont Street but never gets any credit.
Once you cross N. Las Vegas Blvd. into the East District there are more bars, clubs, casinos and things to see and do. On this last July visit I wandered over to the Fremont East District and checked out the Downtown Container Park...And it was fantastic....
So if you visit the Fremont Street Experience, just cross the street to Fremont East District and have a good time checking out what is there.....I know I enjoyed it and you will probably too.
