Highly recommend. Brandon our guide was very informative and helpful throughout. Stops at the Hoover Dam and Seligman broke up the long drive and the lunch was more than adequate. We were given plenty of water and snacks and Luana our driver was very pleasant and took the stress out of a long day. Once we arrived at the south rim we were given plenty of time to stop and take photos of this awesome place. Brandon was a brilliant guide and was happy to take as many photos for us as we wanted - even the 'million likes' shots :) We would certainly recommend your tour to others as we felt it was definitely money well spent, in fact we did tell a couple we met the next day who couldn't decide whether to do the helicopter or bus tour and we said to ring you and definitely book the bus tour. Thank you GC Tours for a most enjoyable and memorable day.

on Wed night I saw Grand Canyon Tours were still taking reservations for the next day, Thursday. I booked online and they promptly called me to update me on my tour pkg and confirmed I was all ready to go, <24hr booking!
Tour Guide: Irene was our tour guide and she is amazing! She was so personable, knowledgable on vegas/az/grand canyon history.. I was so appreciative of her sharing. She also provided guidance on the steps to take to ensure the grand canyon visit was as seamless as possible, down to the time we should leave the last viewing point to make sure we'd make our tour bus. Lastly, the bus we had was a mercedes benz with captain seats.. very comfortable, charging outlets, definitely riding in style. The grand canyon is truly breath-taking, highl recommended.

Where to start: my husband and I did this exact tour a few years ago. We took our daughter for the experience this time. The bus was overbooked so the driver asked the last party to get off the bus since no one offered to go to the south rim and Hoover Dam the next day. We left about 30 minutes late due to that. Our drive stated that since some recent happenings he needed time and was not going to talk for a while. Now I am comparing but my goodness the lady we had before was wonderful. I had expected the same and was disappointed. She told us so many stories of flash floods, showed us long horned sheep, took us over the Hoover dam. We got nothing except a few facts about the Hoover dam, crossing into a different state etc. maybe he was having a bad day because of asking the last party to leave but not the same! I will say that the Grand Canyon didn’t disappoint!

The Grand Canyon Basin stop tour with Mike was spectacular. The narration, the soundtrack, the smoothness of the ride, and the incredible videography was well beyond expectations. It is worth it to get the video, so you can experience the real-time experience without worrying about photos. Mike even had some semi-tamed local ravens visit our lunch site. What a glorious ride!!

Omg!! My wife and I had an amazing time on this Grand Canyon Tour through Canyon Tours from beginning to end. The tour guide, Dywan, was wonderful, pleasant and so knowledgeable in sharing the information about the Canyon as well as all the other sites we saw (Route 66, Hoover Dam, Boulder) in route to the Canyon. We were able to take pics as he stopped to allow for that. We would most certainly recommend Canyon Tours, Grey Line Bus Tours and this guide, if possible, for visiting the Grand Canyons!!!👍🏽Thx.

I really wish ZERO was an option. After booking a helicopter tour more than a month ahead of time I had to call them the day before because I realized that I never received the final details. They proceeded to tell me that I had been bumped from the tour time that I chose and that I had to choose another time, which I did and then received a confirmation/detailed email including pick-up time.
Pick up time was 9:20 am. At 9:40 am I called them because we had not been picked up. They told me that the tour time didn't have enough people so they canceled it. I then realized that I missed a call from them at 9 am. On that message, they said that a pilot called in sick as the reason.
If you are considering this company, my advice is to find someone else.

The Tour Bus vehicle was spacious, comfortable and great for getting in and out. The tour guide Adam Klasfeld was knowledgable, patient, informative and compassionate. Adam was always concerned for our safety and well being. He answered all of our questions. He knew of clean bathroom areas for us to stop. Two other travelers from Scottland were not dressed appropriate for the Desert weather and Adam provided blankets and coats for their comfort. He took plenty of priceless photos of us for a lifetime of memories. I highly recommend this tour group. Our trip was an all day event and we were extremely satisfied.

We had no idea what to expect having never been on a private tour. Our tour guide was Jason. Start by saying we can’t say enough about him, as he made our trip to the Grand Canyon. We started the morning with him taking us to some beautiful points, telling us the history as well as some great personal stories. About noon asked us if we were ready for a hike. We were. However, if he would of described the path we were taking I probably would of chickened out. We hike what was 870 elevation down which was about a mile long. The hike down took us 2 hours and a times the trail was 3 feet wide with a 1000 foot drop. The views were amazing. The climb up took us an hour. After our hike, Jason took us to a point overlooking the canyon where we had privacy and he served us lunch. We had ordered sandwiches in advance, but along with those sandwiches he had about six sides that included pickled onions, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, had some side, salads and pasta salad, as well as a variety of drinks that we could have along with our lunch and everything was served on China. We were amazed, and it was a great lunch, after lunch, we took in a few more sites over the next few hours and then he took us to his favorite point for sunset. He served us champagne made a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses for us and as we talked and then he left us two enjoy the sunset just my wife and I. An amazing day, and would recommend Jason if you use this tour company

We took the West Rim Tour. The whole experience was too rushed and the sightseeing time at the Canyon was kind of short. We had 1 hour at the Skywalk point, but more than half an hour we were spent waiting in the queue. Breakfast was ok but lunch was not good. After Skywalk, we went to the Guano point and I cannot say that we spent enough time there where we had lunch. In addition, many security measures were not taken at the Guano point. Yes, there were warnings, but some people didn't care about them. They need to build a fence or something. Also, a visitor had injured herself and she needed to wait for help so long.
At last, the tour guide did not keep quiet during the whole tour, it was fun at the beginning, but on the way back, the jokes and advertisements became unbearable when I was tired.

Horrible experience! Multiple tours happening at one time (helicopter and jeep) which delayed the rest of the bus tour. Should have policy about groups sitting together as our family of 4 was spread throughout the entire bus because they allow people in groups to take all the window seats leaving families (kids ages 10 and 14) that are trying to enjoy the trip together, have to sit with strangers and alone. Worst experience, wish I would have never booked this terrible bus trip. DO NOT RECOMMEND
bus driver was great as these things are the companies issues as a whole.

The VIP express is a 7 seater - not a coach. It was along the lines of a Mercedes sprinter so no, you would have to crouch to get in and out but it was way more comfortable than a coach

Hola Andrea! Gracias por el comentario. Me dejaste pensando... en caso de que el clima no acompañe... sería muy grave? Qué se puede hacer¿ Imagino que no devuelven el dinero y en mi caso de todas formas hay un solo día que puedo hacerlo.... Gracis!

Hi! I am trying to find a small group tour that starts in las vegas, in an suv or mini bus, stops in hoover dam and gets to south rim, and then while there take the helicopter tour and drive back. Is that even possible? I am having a hard time finding a tour with those specs

Has anyone use Grand Canyon Destinations Bus Tour from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon?
Written June 15, 2019
Hi, I did it in May! What would you like to know?
Written June 15, 2019
We are heading to Vegas in July and want to do a tour from Vegas to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I saw some videos on a website for Grand Canyon tours with information of types of tours. I want to do the bus tour. What are the different bus companies that do it? Can anyone recommend one? The tour discussed on the video says you see the Hoover Dam and Colorado River and buffet lunch. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
Written May 21, 2019
Yes, we went on the south rim tour. It was excellent, early start but back at a reasonable hour. The guide Adam, was great and very helpful. Recommend the buffet lunch.

I have just booked the Grand Canyon west rim tour, limo pick up from our hotel, helicopter ride landing in the Grand Canyon with lunch, flight back over Las Vegas strip then limo back to our hotel. Has anyone done this tour before? I was wondering how long it takes to get to the helicopter in the limo? And how long the flight to the canyon is? And how long you actually get at the Grand Canyon itself?

We are going to Vegas in April. Really want to see the Grand Canyon. Do you recommend booking before or do it in Vegas? I looked online and there are so many options. Is there one you recommend?
Written January 16, 2019
We booked before only because they were booking fast and I wanted to pick the nicest day to go to the canyon.
Written January 16, 2019
I’m thinking of booking this tour however the only day we can go is forecast to rain all day. Are we likely to be able to see anything? Is it still worth the long trip?
Written January 14, 2019
Is there a CHANCE of rain or will it definitely rain? The trip isn't that long but for the money you're spending if it's sure to rain the whole time I'd postpone so you can have a better experience and take better photos.

Is it cheaper booking Grand Canyon tours in Uk or Vegas I am going in March
Written November 27, 2018
You have to know which part of Grand Canyon ( west or south) rim you’d like to see as price of tour is different. Reviews on line - people recommend south rim

Hi, Denise. What would you like to know about this attraction?
Which tour did you do, and would you recommend the VIP tour?
Written September 1, 2018
We were a group of 7 and the VIP tour was perfect for us. Especially with children it's more customized. Picked us up at 7 at our condo, Las Vegas sign, Hoover Dam, 3 hours at the canyon with lunch back about 4:30. Great trip.
