What an epic day! We are always looking for fun things to do, and with Covid , we’ve tried to do more things closer to home , and I’m so glad we decided to spend the day kayaking with Venture Out Vegas!
Our guides, Blair and Ignacio, could not have been more fun and accommodating. The company will pick you up on the strip, or if you are a local like we are, you can drive to Boulder City and meet up, and Hop into their van to ride down to Willow Beach.
We went on the Emerald Cove Tour and YES it really is that green! We had a full day on the river, approx 5 miles round trip. We stopped for lunch, swimming , and just enjoying the beautiful day- Afterwards, we went to the Emerald Cove and it was great. We headed back to Willow Beach, and never felt rushed- they definitely made sure everyone was enjoying their day.
Overall, everyone in our group agreed that it was really a great experience . Get out if your comfort zone and get out in the River with Venture Out Vegas- you wine be disappointed!

Our tour guide Blair was both funny & informative!
The kayaking took us on the CO River and the scenery was breathtaking. It was an easy trip until the wind kicked up but it was manageable. Blair made sure the ride there & back was entertaining so the adventure was very much personalized. Well worth the time & money!

Blair, our kayak instructor and tour guide asked us what was the best part of our kayaking experience which he hosted. It was hard to identify any one thing, as the entire day kayaking with Blair was exceptional! He was so personable; from the pick-up point he engaged so politely and build up the excitement of the day by making the novices in the group feel comfortable by sharing the safety rules and instructions to be successful at kayaking. Our group was a small group - 7 of us - celebrating 3 birthdays and Blair gave each one of us his undivided attention. We dubbed ourselves professionals by end of day. The day was a beautiful one and Emerald Cave was at it best! Our kayaking with Blair was the best of all activities we had on the agenda, and we had a great itinerary for our Vegas trip including Cirque de Soliue shows, horseback riding and America's Got Talent. Spending the day kayaking with Blair was THE BOMB!

We had a fab day out yesterday with Blair. The whole trip was well organised and the Emerald Cave absolutely beautiful. Blairs experience of kayaking and knowledge of the river totally made our trip. Had great fun with the water shooters although think my husband enjoyed soaking me a little too much! Oh and light lunch afterwards was very filling (Sandwiches as many as you could eat).We saw people in much larger tour groups of people really struggling so would highly recommend this smaller group.

We chose to do the overnight kayak trip from Hoover Dam to Willow Beach. Booking was super easy and the communication was excellent. They were quick to answer questions and were flexible with what gear we had and what we needed to rent. They brought multiple kayak options to ensure we were comfortable for our trip and let us choose our pickup time the next day which I thought was excellent since we weren't stuck to what time they wanted us back. They were on time with pick up and drop off and helped us load/unload our gear which was super helpful. I would book with this company again!

We turned the 3 day/2 night trip into a 2 day/1 night trip because we had time issues & the distance isn't that long. Blaire picked us up with the 2 man rental canoe, dropped us in under the Hoover Dam and picked us up the day after at the end, which is only 12 mile downriver. Blaire was fantastic in double shuffling our pickup & dropoff time to accommodate our requested changes, and charged us very little for the change fees. You want to stop all the way down & walk the trails to the hot springs if you do the full 3 day/2 night experience. The hot springs are in the top half so read up on where everything is before you set off. The company did everything right & the trip went like clock work. Thanks Blaire.

Blair and Christine make this trip a must do. We did the Emerald Cave canoe, would recommend for any experience level, Blair will assist at your own pace and some times a bit of banter to make the trip fun. Equipment and safety is at the fore front and no issues there. Groups ate small to allow a more personal experience... this is a must do foe your emeral cave experience...

We chose the Hoover Dam tour with Blair and this is by far the best day trip experience we've ever had from Vegas. It was just what we needed to recharge our batteries and experience the Colorado river. We looked at many of the other operations that give kayaking tours but Venture Out Vegas stood out because of their attention to detail, professional equipment, and private party experience. I would highly recommend Venture Out Vegas and the Hoover Damn tour to anyone who likes to kayak.

Ignacio and blair were very knowledgeable and helped along the way. The sights that you see are breathtaking

We took the Hoover Dam guided tour with Blair. It was spectacular. Blair was professional in every way. He created a relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to really enjoy the trip and feel safe. We stopped at Sauna Cave, Gold Canyon hot pools and of course Arizona hot pools. The Emerald Cave was beautiful even though we did not view in the morning. The kayaks were great and my seat really supported my bad back. Blair’s knowledge of the river and history of the area was superb. He is well read and informed. Pick up was on time. We will bring our friends back to do this.
