Best massage ever.

I had the 80 minute customized massage & Natalie was incredible. I’ve had many massages in my life & this was the best, period. Using the spa, sauna, steam room was also very relaxing. The meditation room is beautifully relaxing. I will go back again.

One of the best facials ever
Sep 2019 • Solo
Having a facial is something I try to treat myself whenever I’m on vacation just to try new ones. This is one of the best I have ever had! The facility is so beautiful and the staff beyond accommodating. Go early or stay late to enjoy the steam room. Also, the products used are real game changers!

My husband and I typically enjoy spa services when we travel and saw that the Spa at Vdara had good reviews so decided to give it a try. My husband booked a massage and it was one of the best he's ever had. I booked a facial and was very happy as well. The specialist doing my facial asked me lots of questions and also explained to me exactly what she was doing and why. The head massage was the best!

Would skip if considering visiting just on a day-pass.

This is a review of the spa facility itself, not any services associated with the spa.

We were staying at the Vdara and had a couple of hours to kill, so we decided to purchase a day pass to the ESPA. $60.00 per person on the weekend gets you access to a quite small facility. There's one average sized hot tub, steam room and dry sauna. There are showers, lockers, and a nicely stocked dressing facility with the usual supplies. The staff was friendly and unobtrusive.

There are no reclining loungers and was just underwhelming overall. On the plus side, it's clean, uncrowded and quiet. But it lacks the amenities and luxury feel of other spas on the strip, for the same kind of money.

Might be nice to visit if access is included with a service (massage, etc.), but if you're just looking for a few hours in the facilities, I would recommend elsewhere for the same money.

Terrible Terrible!

Spa is very clean and it's easy to make an appointment. Also I found the staff to be generally nice and welcoming - but the amenities are quite limited and small. Don't think you can come here for a full day of relaxation.

I came here for a 80 minute personalized massage and it was TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE! The massage therapist didn't really ask me about what areas I wanted to focus on the only thing that made this massage "personable" was her asking what kind of aromatherapy/essential oil i preferred. Wow - I didn't know just asking that made this PERSONALIZED. I found her to be very inexperienced and lazy - I did not enjoy my massage one bit even after asking her to adjust the pressure. Also, she didn't ask once if everything was OK.

With the mandatory 18% tip - I was asked to spend a total of $312! Rip off!! I even complained to the front desk and all he said was..."oh, I'm sorry, but you still have to tip" He said he would talk to management about making it right, but of course I didn't hear anything. Also, I got a survey to fill out in my e-mail and Yes! Management failed to reach out again.

I guess since tip is mandatory the staff here don't have motivation to work hard. I'm very disappointed in my experience here..

Special Day Spoilt

So, I’ve been at the Vdara hotel before so this was my second stay. As I was getting married in Vegas, I thought I’d treat myself to a gel manicure. It was very easy to book an appointment, the spa receptionist was very polite and courteous.

I arrive and it’s all great, met the lovely Roxy the nail technician, she tells me to pick a gel colour and if I’m honest, there wasn’t a lot of variety of colours. They had a lot of “Vegas” colours, like bright in your face colours, no soft colours like baby pink.
Moral of this review is that I had them done, paying $138 for removal and gel and they chipped on my wedding day. This is gel, it is meant to last for 2 weeks, it didn’t last 24 hours. In my wedding photos, I had to hid my nails so the chip wouldn’t show.

I go into the spa the day after my wedding and told them that I wasn’t happy and that I wanted my money back. They did it straight away and seemed genuinely upset for me.

Get your nails done somewhere else.

What a hidden gem!

This spa is amazing! Last year I stayed at the Vdara, but chose to go to Canyon Ranch Spa because of the reviews, wow, did I make a mistake. The ESPA at Vdara is a 1,000 times better! The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing. I arrived a little before 7am and had the spa to myself for about 1 hour. It was amazing! My massage therapist, Jessica, was absolutely awesome....best massage of my life! She knew exactly where I needed attention and asked the right questions before we started to make sure she was going to meet my needs. It was an awesome sports massage with just the right amount of stretching to help rejuvenate my tired body from hiking and ATVing. My service overall was attentive and 5-stars. This is the perfect place to escape for a few hours!

ESPA spa and massage after a long day of work
Apr 2019 • Business
I just stayed at Vdara, and had the chance to go to ESPA after a hard day of work. I have been here a few times, and it is different every time I come. I always enjoy the meditation room, it is very low key, relaxing, and I love listening to the running water. The whole spa is very low key, and never crowded. There is a good sized workout area, with all the necessary equipment to get in a typical workout. I booked an 80 minute deep tissue sports therapy massage this time. The massage was just average. I was pretty sore from my previous day workout, and walking 7 miles for work today. I was hoping the massage would help fix some of my soreness. Unfortunately, the girl that did my massage was a bit lazy. It was not deep tissue at all, and I could hardly feel it because she was so light on my legs. (Even after requesting deeper pressure) The cost was $300, plus their mandatory 18 percent tip. Bad value in my opinion. The spa staff was professional and somewhat attentive. Untimately, I was able to relax and enjoy the hot tub, steam room, meditation room and sauna. They had a wide variety of drinks, and fruit, also provided razors, and all the typical stuff at spas. Not sure I would do a $300 massage again. They charge somewhere around $70 to come use the facilities, which is probably a bit over priced also.

One of the best spas ever!

Stayed at the Vdara for friends’ wedding & spent a few hours here one morning after waking up super early due to jet lag. Booked an 80-minute massage and love that guests are asked to show up 45 minutes before the appointment time to start the relaxation process. Great space and on a Friday morning, almost had the place all to myself. Great separate same sex area prior to entering the main treatment area. Selection of snacks and drinks in both areas, so plenty to tide you over if peckish. Carrie was my massage therapist and truly the best ever.
