I have seen the show a couple times, but if the strip is busy it can be difficult to see. My husband and I always make room for kids who might be standing next to us, but the adults will push and shove to get a spot. It probably is a pickpockets paradise.

Its a decent entertaining show, but not a kid show. We went to this a few years ago and it was just a pirate show. This had a lot more dancing with far less clothed women. I wouldn't say it was bad at all, just wouldn't take my kids. It was a fun show and is free.

Family
I spent 4 nights here with my family. It was my second time and I think the last.

The welcome wasn't so nice as I went to the counter to check in and was informed that baggage drop-off was outside. Perhaps, while walking into the hotel and right past baggage drop-off, they could have said something, or put up a larger sign, maybe.

I ordered room service one night and there was a $7 charge placed on each order, so my vegetarian Bo Bun was $26. (That's more than have of the room rate!)

The room was ok It was clean, the bed was comfy and the bath tub was huge.

The casino itself is pretty drab but it seemed they are refurnishing it. There aren't alot of restaurants there either. Disapointingly, they no longer have the pirate show.

I went to the salon for highlights and the hairdresser told me that it was $120 for highlights, then another $110 to dry my hair. Needless to say I went back to my room with wet hair. I have never even heard of a salon charging to dry your hair after highlights in my 20 years of getting my hair colored. Let alone $110 just to dry my hair. How ridiculous.

The best attribute about this hotel is the location for the price. For less than $100 per night you are right in the middle of the strip. But if you want to do anything such as eat or visit the salon, get ready to pay an astronomical markup.

This was such a huge waste of time and energy. We were staying at the Venetian and from our room at night we could see the flashes from the Treasure Island show. The kids (7 and 14, both girls) asked if we could go see it. My husband and I had seen the show about 8 years before and we found it mildly entertaining, but it had obviously changed for the worse since then. We walked down there an hour before to try and get a good place to see the show. Even then our spot was just OK. Then we stood and stood and stood, and stood some more, progressively getting more and more squeezed as the crowds got very large. We figured that if this many people were waiting to see it, it must be pretty good. When the show finally started we were embarrassed. Our girls had to watch a bunch of trashy, trampy girls gallovanting around, and the men were portrayed as stupid or ---------. Now I am no prude, and our kids have seen things, but this was ridiculous. The kids hated it and my husband and I did too. The music stunk, the "acting" was horrendous, and it wouldn't have been worth a 5 minute wait, let alone an hour wait. My suggestion, get a room facing the strip and Wynn Las Vegas or the Ventian. From there you can hear to a certain extent the music (which sounds much better muffled than in person) and you don't have to watch the trashiness, just see the fireworks and canonball shots. There's no wait, no worry about your kids being exposed to garbage, and your feet and head won't hurt when the show is over.

We saw the show February 20, 2005 and it is horrible! It is basically a strip club show on water. The dancing isn't even choreographed well. The main characters name is "Sin" just to give you a taste of the bad taset show. It is a complete waste of time and energy. Definitely keep the kids away and save your feet for something better.

In a word Sophomoric.

Sophomoric

1)Of or characteristic of a sophomore.
2)Exhibiting great immaturity and lack of judgment: sophomoric behavior.

Show must have been written by a High School student. Was tacky, crude and disaappointing.

We have taken our kids to Las Vegas several times before and one of their favorite attractions is the Treasure Island pirate show. So we went and stood 45 minutes before the show to get a decent view. We had heard that it had changed, but we didn't realize how drastically. The show itself was cheesy, provocative, and downright disgusting. Even though it is Vegas, this kind of show should not be allowed as a street show. The kids didn't even find it entertaining because most of it was strip club style dancing and adult jokes. Even as an adult I didn't think it was good. My advice: skip it!

This show is worth the wait. It is the best show on the strip. Don't try to see it up close, you will miss the entire view. Best place to see it is across the street. It not as packed, if you try and see it from the viewing area its packed hot and you may be ripped off of you goods. So, see it from across the street.

I love the TI Sirens!!!! We saw the show for the first time last year. We are going again in April of this year. We are actually staying at TI this time. If you stay at TI they reserve a special viewing area for you, yeah!!!!! I've seen quite a few comments regarding the inappropriateness of the show for kids. Well, no kidding. The show is called sirens. You do know what a siren is, don't you? :) You know what I think is inappropriate, bringing kids to Vegas in the first place. People, they call it "sin city" for a reason. Vegas is for adults, not children. Please leave the kiddies home. When they say "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas"; what do you think they are referring to?

I had really wanted to see the old show, which I heard was fantastic, but by the time I got there, "Sirens of TI" had replaced it. Wow, talk about missing the boat! Just when Pirates (for adults) had become the IN THING again, they replaced it with this debacle. The first time I saw it, I was struck with the banality of it all. (Yes, I saw part of it again, last time I was in Vegas, hoping it had improved. It hadn't, and I fortunately had my escape already planned out.) It's basically a T&A, S&M sleazefest without even the courage of its convictions. I'm surprised it's staged out by the street, for kids to see and all. The good ship Venus...um, the "Raging Bull" sails around with a guy beating off...um, beating on some odd drums, and it's downhill from there. Bad pole dancing, bad S&M scenes, the works. To quote a friend "I sure wouldn't put "Swashbucklett" on my resume."

All it seems to accomplish is getting crowds to obstruct the sidewalk. Fireworks aren't too bad, if viewed from a distance, but there aren't enough of them. But otherwise, it's a real stinker.
