The Grand Canal Shoppes

The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian is like being transported to Venice. The shops are a little expensive but the atmosphere is fantastic.

This is a great place to wander around. There is some cheese involved, however if you can look past that, you can see the effort that they have gone to and it's tough to fail to be impressed.

The gondola ride is pretty nice, the people on the boat sing popular Italian songs. Very romantic. We took the indoor tour because of the heat of the summer. The only problem is the people selling the tickets, they are not nice.

We like strolling around and looking at all the shops. There were too many cosmetic shops for my taste, especially since they were all trying to lure you in (reminded us of the ticket clickers on the strip--not a good memory). We just stopped making eye contact. The majority of the time was pleasant and relaxing, especially if you like... More

Very Romantic shopping place. The stores are of course update and it really feels like you are having a walk on Venice. It might not be the cheapest place to buy in Vegas but you can find pretty coll stuff here.

Great way to stay cool and enjoy window browsing. Also a great way to see all of the places to eat that are offered at the Venetian.

Enjoyed the walk around the shoppes, did a little shopping. These stores are more enjoyable than the extremely expensive shops at Ceasers and Bellagio. A must is to stop at Sin City Brewing Co. ( I think level 2 ) and have a beer or cocktail. Lots of great conversation comes and goes.

I spent an hour strolling though here and looking into stores and observing the sights. The live statue was very cool and the stores had some cool stuff..overpriced obviously but fun to look through.

Beautiful design and layout but we were annoyed by sales tactics from vendors. Someone even offered to sell us cocaine.

Had a couple of nice walks through the Venetian to get back and fourth to our destination. The gondola area and town square are a lovely area and great if you can get a seat while some the entertainers are around. Quite posh shops in some area but most were very welcoming when we wanted to looks around
