Nice exhibit. The behaviors the dolphins do are pretty much the same thing you see in accredited zoos. Many pools for the dolphins to move around to. Staff is knowledgeable. The tiger exhibit is better than some zoos I've been to. They have shade and misters and one exhibit has a pool. Be there around 2 pm when they change out the big cats. There is a docent there who is very knowledgeable. I learned that behind the exhibit are separate areas where the cats live. They are quite large and they have a nursery there when cubs are born. It's well maintained and the cats look healthy. It's pricey, but if you are a Nevada resident with a current drivers license or state ID there is a discount.

As an animal lover who has never been to sea world, this was literally my favorite place I've ever been to in Vegas. After reading American Humane's review on Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden, I knew these animals are well cared for, so I decided to go. The dolphins are ADORABLE. They are separated into 1 bachelor and 2 nursing pods (male and female) that they intermix on schedules to keep the pod enriched. The dolphins were playing with balls tossing them in the air having fun, I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. The tigers, lion, and leopards that we saw were absolutely gorgeous and majestic, so close. Someone who doesn't really care for animals could walk through in 30-45 minutes but I took my time and I was there for a little under 2 hours. They had a free water station next to the cats that was much needed! HOWEVER I did give this place only 4 stars because of a few things. The leopard cages were just too small. I wish the dolphin show was more of a show than multiple trainers working all around the pool (that being said, the tricks were awesome! All kinds of flips!) Overall, I think the $25 admission is definitely reasonable compared to the other things you would pay around that price for, in Vegas.

You have to visit if your with kids, the ankle biter absolutely loved it. From the trainers interacting with the dolphins and the dolphins doing there tricks was really good to watch. An added bonus is the secret garden with the tigers and lions which is also a must when there. You can stay in there as long as you like and the dolphin show runs for about 30 minutes. I would say on entry to the lion/tiger bit if you don't want your photo taken just walk straight past the photographers, take the disgusted look and enjoy the big cats.

We paid $25 each to see sad or sleeping tigers, and one lion, in enclosures that were inadequate. One of the white tigers paced endlessly. We felt very sad to see this. Also, you could not see them clearly due to the chain link fencing. The dolphins were more fun, and they were entertaining and seemed to be enjoying their interactions with the trainers, and performing tricks. Siegfried and Roy must be turning over in their graves to see how their beloved tigers and lion are living these days. Hopefully when the Mirage is torn down these animals will be placed in a sanctuary where they can have interactions and room.

We did the dolphin expedience. For the 3 of us it was about $250 and literally lasted about 5 minutes. You pet the dolphins side about 3 times and then they scoot you to the next station where you face the crowd of people watching for a picture. Before even turning around to see if the experience extends at this new station, they ask you to make your way back to your belongings. Does come with 3 printed photos but it was absolutely something we wouldn’t recommend for the price point.

The big cat enclosures were the saddest thing I have ever witnessed and I left there in tears. All animals segregated with no enrichment whatsoever. We saw 2 leopards in separate tiny enclosures. You wouldn't even keep a dog in such a small area. The orange tiger was displaying classic signs of stress, either constantly licking a wall in his enclosure or just pacing in a repeated circle. All the other cats were just laying there sleeping... what else is there for them to do! The dolphins seemed better cared for, and we got some amazing video of a training/education session with their trainers. They seem to not do shows anymore, which is a good thing. Honestly this place just needs shutting down and the cats released to sanctuaries, where they have the space and enrichment they need. These beautiful creatures do not belong in a hotel! I hope the new owners do the right thing.

This is a nice dolphin & Lion Park. You get to be up close and personal to dolphins and lions that you normally at an aquarium or zoo or much further away from. However... when we went in April 2021, of course they were having social distancing and masks. For good reason, they were limiting the capacity in the lion area. The line to get into the lion area was 40 minutes long. There are several lions and cheetahs and you're pretty close. They were annoying with their constant notices about keeping your face mask on and they were very nice about letting just one person wait in line. So the lion exhibit is really cool. It was worth the price of admission. It was even worth the 40 minute wait. I would be sure to bring a little sunscreen cuz you are going to be waiting in the sun.

I should have realised before I entered what this place would be and had instant regret for paying into this awful place.

The lion/cheetah/tiger enclosures are tiny, one was so small it made me feel sick to see these animals caged up like this.
The dolphin pools were also tiny, the fact that the fountains and waterfall area at the front of the mirage are around three times the size of the dolphin pool says it all really.

Made me feel really uncomfortable, there is absolutely no need for this kind of attraction in 2022, send these animals off to somewhere better to live out the rest of their lives and tear it down!

This is a “zoo” plus a training facility for dolphins. Nothing special nor worth the $25 admission fee. There are only 5 or 6 tigers, lions or leopards in individual enclosures - that’s it. The dolphin show lasted only 10-15 minutes almost without commentary. Again, Nothing that interesting. There was also no seating available so you had to bake in the sun during the “show”. Not much value here.

A place where you can see some of the animals that Siegfried and Roy used in their show at the Mirage. The Secret Garden is located outside of the Mirage but to get to it you still have to go through the casino. The Secret Garden has a dolphin pool called the Dolphin Habitat. Here they have several dolphins that will do some jumps and flips during their educational sessions. The trainers do a great job educated the guests regarding dolphin behaviors. There is also an underwater observation tunnel where you can see the dolphins swimming. After the Dolphin Habitat you walk to the Secret Garden. It is extremely small, maybe houses about 4 of Siegfried and Roy’s animals. You do get a chance to see the animals up close. There are covid restrictions so you may have to buy your tickets early. Admission is inexpensive, about $25. They do honor local discounts but you must show a Nevada ID. The Secret Garden is extremely small but still great for small kids or if you are fans of Siegfried and Roy. Both of them passed in 2020 just months apart from each other. The Garden is a nice reminder and tribute to their legacy.
