Do not go here. They nickel and dime you for everything. Our $295 package turned into $1100 with all of the hidden fees, envelopes for tipping their 18% fee and all the other taxes. They called to say the limo we ordered with the package was broken so we could upgrade for $167. Then they were an hour late picking us up. The printed pictures we purchased with the package never came. I was told when I enquirer about the pictures I could print them out myself......The pictures they took were never edited or retouched like they said. They took them straight from the camera and put them on a thumb drive and sent them to us. This was after several phone calls and 1 month later.... GO ANYWHERE ELSE...........

Make sure you read the fine print!!!!! We just got married here and the experience was great up till the end. After choosing Package I, this included..
.Chapel, Background Music, Candlelight
Executive Car Transportation
Fresh Carnation Bouquet, Groom's Boutonniere
Personalized DVD Recording of Your Ceremony
*Custom Photo Shoot

So from the top, the chapel was nice with the exception that it is attached to a pretty run down looking motel. Service was very nice and the man that married us was very good and gave a touching speech. 5 stars to him.

Transportation was a very clean white Escalade. 5 stars

Bouquet and Boutonniere--kind of cheesy looking. 3 stars

DVD recording -- ok. it is what it is.

Custom Photo shoot---Now here is where the issues started. PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE .... if you decide to get married here ask all the questions and read the fine print. No prices were mentioned when we were looking at the photos, we were just told to write down the ones that we liked and they would let us know what the price would be. This is where the punch in the face is, if you do not have any pictures in your package they will charge you $195 for 3 pictures (but they did say they would be professionally printed..not framed), if you want 12 pictures on a cd that will run you $350, now if you want all the pictures they take on a cd, this will run $450!! $450 for 30 pictures on a cd, really it is all digital and on a cd that cost like $2. Then there is the witness fee (and she was not even in the room) administrative fee, and of course you then get the envelopes for you donation to the driver and the minister(they recommend at least $40 for each of them, but you can give more)

So when she handed us the bill it was for almost $800, this did not include the envelopes. When i asked what was all this for since we should have only owed $200 after the deposit you get to see where they slide in all the extra fees and upselling. They certainly try to take advantage of you on what should be your special day. We caved and spent the additional $200 for the 3 photos just so we would have some pictures to remember this day. Later we had a person at the hotel take some pictures on our phone for and that costed us $0.

Attention to detail " a dream wedding"
Nov 2019
From the first contact Patricia was great, she answered all my questions and I had many. She really took the time and was very nice. I had special requests for my flowers, music and she came through with every detail. J.R was at our hotel on time to pick us up and was so helpful with our Marriage licence application so we didnt have to fill it out at the License office. The drive to get the license was minimal and he dropped us right in front and waited, he was very accomadating and friendly. Back at the Chapel, Marrieta truly was a caring wedding coordinator and went over all the details so it all went smooth. The Chapel is very lovely I chose it because it was decorated in gold and neutral colors. It has a very heartwarming elegance. There really is a glow inside the chapel.During the ceremony Marieta and JR took the pictures and video, I felt I was with family. We had eloped so none of our family or freinds were present. The minister made some beautiful personal comments to me and my groom and that made it very special. After the ceremony They took many more pictures in the chapel and outside in the garden. Then my final request was to be dropped off at Harrahs we love to sing Karaoke at the piano bar, since we met singing Karaoke 12 years ago. I called my children from inside the limo as we drove, JR was truly a part of our Happy News, very special! So much love and JOY. we brought our wedding cake along and jr helped to get us all set for our wedding celebration. I truly want to express my gratitude for a completely amazing experience because it was perfect from beginning to my final hug goodbye to JR, I will never forget how caring people really made our wedding " a dream wedding"

Cute little chapel by the Strat!
Nov 2019 • Business
This is next to a little kinda hilarious but sketchy looking motel. Honestly this would be a cute spot for couples who want some "fun" on their stay to get that extra "feel". Right off the Strip by the Stratosphere. Decent amount of parking. Not a huge motel, but should be affordable. Might be somewhere we stay when we can both go.

Like in the movies!!!
Oct 2019
We had a wonderful little wedding at the famous chapel of the bells...
The venue is very charming and we thought it was a pretty amazing all american movie like experience. We chose a simple procedure (no elvis, etc), but in our eyes, that's the spirit of vegas: have a wild night at the casino, show up hungover at the chapel, get married, drive into the sunset...
The people there were very kind and the Reverend did a charming little ceremony, he said some surprisingly true things about us and he clearly had his heart in this!
Viva Las Vegas & Viva Chapel of the Bells!

Unexpected Kindness and Great Experience
Jul 2019 • Couples
We didn't know what to expect. We knew this was going to be a casual wedding but the reviews were so mixed we were not sure what our experience would be like.
I asked questions before we arrived, I asked about taxes and fees, and I confirmed the details 2 times. I was skeptical.
But I have to tell you that we are so incredibly surprised by the kindness, professionalism and friendly way we were treated.
My emails were responded to quickly and every question I asked was answered. We were picked up at our hotel in a new, very clean and spotless Cadillac Escalade by a very kind man named JR. Who made sure we were prepared for the courthouse, explained everything that was going to happen there and dropping us directly at the door. He opened every door for us and carried on a conversation that he actually paid attention to our responses. How do I know? Because while we were getting married, JR surprised my husband with a Swisher Sweet Cigar he mentioned in passing conversation that he wished he had for when we were done!! SO NICE OF HIM! The wedding ceremony officiant and desk staff were helpful and understood that we wanted to keep our service very basic with no frills or pictures. The start to finish was so sweet. Outdated décor perhaps but clean and in good shape. I have to believe that any bad reviews must be people who did not ask questions or prepare for the day. They are in the business to make money, they are going to charge for the extras, that's how they increase profits like anyone else. But no one tried to upsell us on anything and were perfectly understanding when we told them that we did not even want a ring exchange. We would highly recommend Chapel of the Bells. Thank you for a beautiful, private moment we will always remember.

Beware of JR and Patricia. They do not honor their business agreements. They will try and con you with hidden fees, and upcharges that are not agreed upon.
Don't trust them. I don't want them to take advantage of you like what happened to me.
We agreed upon restoring their sign. I travel hours to their business, did the work and then was told they had to go get the money. Came back later and they said they never asked me to do the work. Refused to pay me the agreed upon price and then threatened me never to come back. Please don't give them your business. They are not worthy of it.

Brides! Buy your own bouquet!! Rip Off and scammers!
Dec 2018 • Couples
Was not told that there was a price for a stupid bouquet that I could have bought from a grocery store. The older lady there asks if you want a bouquet to walk the aisle with in a way to trick you into think its free but beware! After the ceremony is over, they charge you for the bouquet when we were not told that there was a charge ON PURPOSE!!!! We asked for our money back and the lady said she cant, all sales final..blah blah blah!!
Find another wedding chapel or if you choose this one, don't take the bouquet without find how much it is before you walk down that aisle!

Exactly what you should expect
Mar 2018 • Couples
My wife and I got married here and it was the cheesy overpriced wedding you should expect from a Vegas wedding chapel across the street from the stratosphere and attached to a ghetto motel. The inside of the chapel looked like a funeral home, in fact if you watch Vegas Vecation Clark and his wife renew their vows here and it still looks exactly the same 20+ Year’s later! We had a good time and good memories making fun of it but don’t expect a fancy place and they do charge for every little thing. Getting picked up from the hotel and delivered to the courthouse to pick up the marriage license was nice. The people that run it were nice and like I said above you get what you pay for.
