I have been to places like Front Sight and had basic military weapons classes but if you want to advance your skills to the next level with movement, use of cover, shooting with both hands and fixing malfunctions under time pressure then Noir Training is it. I have done pistol, rifle, self defense and hybrid classes with Tim and Colton and they have gone farther in developing my skills than any other training including the military. What’s even better is even if you’re a beginner that will have you shooter like a pro in no time with making you feel intimidated at all. Don’t waste your time anywhere else go with Noir.

The excellent staff of NOIR put class attendees in scenarios to see how we would react in life-threatening events. The training was invaluable and so much fun.

My experience with these guys was well beyond expectation. I’m an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and I was very impressed with their ability to interact and instruct with a large group of civilians, both men and women. They are knowledgeable, professional and obviously...well trained. I would recommend them for any large group or individual training. Time well spent.

I did close quarters combat training with my friend who was turning 50 and, admittedly, he is the true enthusiast out of the two of us. It was more for him and I was along for the ride. To my delight, the experience turned out to be one of the coolest of my life.
Colton, our former SEAL instructor, was an amazing teacher on top of being a super interesting and down to earth guy's guy. He walked us through clearing a structure in one and two man teams, checking around corners, tactics, and even best practices for making your home less attractive to would be invaders...
Truly amazing day! Highly recommend and I can't wait to do it again.

After my initial experience with Noir Training, I felt I wanna do it again but a bit longer. From the previous 4h experience with some friends, this time I booked 2 days of a 1:1 training for myself.

Prior to the training, Colton shared all the information, provided advise and tips. The scheduling and all administrative items were efficiently handled to make the training itself run smooth from the beginning.

The warm drills and initial evaluation was efficient so we could jump right into the meat. We spent a good time in prep and reset drill, which was my biggest weakness. With the approach Colton had, within no time we could address the deficiencies and put some good muscle memory in. We continued with various other training items with target transitions and room clearing (pieing).
Day 2 we kicked off by warming up and repeating some of the previous day drills to solidify. After that we moved towards one handed operation and movements. support hand, strong hand, shooting or reloading, all had to work as if it would be two handed. Post this, we went into scenarios that combine all the individual drill. Walking, cover, reload, one handed, strong and support side. To add more to it, clearing and standing, crouching and prone position was added. While these drills are challenging with two hands, just wait till you do them one handed. Other defensive techniques were added and Colton was always up for adding a new challenge to make it demanding but fun.

If you want to solidify your fundamentals and learn the best mix of competitive and defensive shooting, NOIR training is a must. Beyond that, we had some of the best food recommendations and super fun conversation. Not just the military or Navy Seals stories but real life experience, which makes it even more relatable. Don't think twice and book your class in Las Vegas or Nashville. Don't care on wind, rain or the burning sun, real world situations are not depending on weather.

Colton, thanks a lot and I'll come back

I had a amazing two day AR 15 training with Colton. The training was tailored to my needs, the information was clear and organized, and the techniqes were presented in an understandable and structured sequence. Definitely going back for a pistol class. Colton is highly-qualified and the training is highly recommended!

What fantastic training! In two days I learned more than all of the firearms classes I have taken, and I've taken plenty. The best thing I took away was that every time Colton showed me a way to do something, he explained it. Not showed me what to do, he did that, but then explained why you do it this way. It was so much different from a simple this-is-the-way-it's-done approach. I learned so much from that and I left a better, smarter, shooter. Noir Training was worth every penny and I hope to come back!

I attended Noir training with Colton for 2-Days in late September. Safety was paramount throughout the training. The experience was outstanding in every way. Incredible knowledge, patience and teaching capability. I certainly had a steep learning curve and the drills were challenging and honestly, hard work. Measurable progress was achieved at the end of each day. Communication was superb even after the training completed. Am I a complete expert now? No, but I am demonstrably more comfortable and capable with firearms. I look forward to continuing my training with Noir Training in the future. In the meantime, I am practicing every chance I get! Thank you Colton & Noir Training. Superb!

I am a reservist mobilizing to Afghanistan and wanted to learn more techniques than those taught at the conventional pre-mobilization training for support staff. The 3 day 1 on 1 course was tailored just for my needs on the pistol and rifle as well as several other topics I would need to know well while in theater. Colton went as far as tracking down an M9 pistol for me to use(the one I will carry during the MOB). spent two days on pistol and rifle techniques and the third day on topics like room clearing, active shooter situations, and many other topics. I told him what I was doing and what I needed and he came up with a lot of topics that would be applicable in my situation. Feel much more prepared for my Mobilization to Afghanistan now. This was high level training that a lot of support troops in the military just don't get. Much appreciated!!! Thanks again for getting me ready to go downrange
