I visited the Speedway for the Santa Tram and pleased I did. It’s a big display of Christmas (and some not so Christmassy) lights. I don’t drive while in Vegas so booked the tram to take me round. Not quite a “big” as I expected...More

Nice facilities. The drive out is a bit long. You have to leave early or late. The traffic is fairly bad.

The other half wanted to do a NASCAR driving experience so we went to the speedway. There are a few driving experiences at the complex from cars ranging from NASCARs to luxury vehicles. Well worth planning a visit if you're a petrol head

There is a pool beside the ferris wheel! Yes you can change there. Wear a hat and lots of sunscreen. There is no cover or shade. It's on Turn 4, beside the Earnhardt Terrace.

I didn't see any. On the drag strip there are usually bleacher stands. I couldn't get in to see. The NAS car track was all open.

What is the best way to get to the speedway from the Sahara? We do have a rental car. It wouldn't bother us to take a longer route either. Thanks, Tom

Goms, You can take the 15 North, or you can simply drive all the way up the Strip. Address is 7000 Las Vegas Boulevard North. Or you can decide to not add to the parking problem and take the bus. Your choice. Joe
