Our experience at Lockdown Flamingo was great. The facility was clean, service was prompt, and a room was available without reservation. Escape rooming isn't my thing. My mind is very logical; and although I often think outside the box, I just don't get the escape room concept. It was enjoyable watching others, but I was fairly bored.

This was my very first time doing an escape room. I was hesitant at first, but I was glad I did it. It was a blast. The clues and puzzles had my full attention. I can't wait to do it again. The staff were amazing. If you're looking for fun you've found your place and won't be disappointed.

First time doing escape room, enjoyed trying to understand the clues given. Unfortunately we were not able to get out of the room. Would definitely do it again.

I booked & paid for 4 people. One person got sick & could not make it but, I already paid to make the reservation. I asked Lockdown if I could get a refund or a credit & he said I need to take it up with you-TripAdvisor. We did not have fun, & it’s suppose to be a lockdown gaming room. The man working was rude to us & was very uptight. He even belittled us for only making to the second room. First timers, I should have booked easy level but accidentally, I booked difficult-hard level. We would like to do it again just not with him & an easier level. If I can get a credit we will book again -different location . If there’s anyway you can help, credit or discount I’d really appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

A group of co-workers and I played the Project Poseidon room as a team building activity.
This was the 48th escape room I've played and I would consider this room average at best in quality.
The immersion factor of this room was minimal, it was made worse by the safe not working and the game master having to manually open the safe for us and also restart the game (which restarted our timer).
The puzzle/clue diversity was probably the strongest part of the room, good blend of clues and ways to solve the puzzles.
The automation/wow-factor was minimal in this room. There was no moment that everyone talks about afterwards because it was so cool.
If I'm in Vegas again, I would likely explore other providers before circling back to this one.

Having a fair share of doing escape rooms around the Philippines, Asia, decided to also do it in the US. Our third during the trip, I can now understand why Lockdown Las Vegas remains to be one of the top escape rooms in Sin City. Staff was friendly, rooms were unique and well-thought off, and puzzles were really challenging - even for escape room aficionados like us!
Our group of 4 friends did 2 rooms (Western and Mayan) at Flamingo, both medium difficulty (as advertised, although I would say Mayan is a step or 2 harder than Western).
Unlike other escape rooms, the ones in Lockdown Las Vegas had a unique layout of their puzzles and clues. While most escape rooms would have their puzzles and clues hidden from plain sight, a lot of the ones in Lockdown Las Vegas were already visible. Much like a Sherlock Holmes-type of investigation – one that you have to think well about and piece together. Which honestly can get confusing at first. But the good thing is that you have the necessary references ready. Thus resulting into real mind-exercise, teamwork, and all-around fun! While there were many puzzles to solve at Western, we were able to successfully escape!
Having said so, we were all pumped up for next one: Mayan! Unfortunately, the Mayan room was a tad too difficult for our group. So sad to say, while we were victorious in the first escape room, we weren’t so lucky this time around. Spoiler alert, we weren’t even 60% done with the room! Mainly because of three things: extremely difficult puzzles, poor lighting, insufficient number of game masters.
Stepping into the Mayan room, everyone was excited because the escape room really looked fun and well thought of. We really left like a team of archeologists in an ancient Mayan temple – prison cells with skeletons, ancient scriptures and all.
Similar to the Western escape room, a lot of the puzzles and clues in the Mayan room were already lying around. So it would really need focus and tough game-solving skills to escape. Not to mention, some of the puzzles of the Mayan room were a little too difficult. In fact, some were almost impossible without the game master’s help. Which in turn proved difficult to get as well as there was only one game master when we came in. So it took quite awhile (at some points) for him to come in. Since he also needed to attend to the reception and other rooms as well.
Third, there was poor lighting in the room. Understandably, this must have been the intention as it adds to the real feel of ‘ancient times’. However, it was too dimly lit in the first chamber that it was extremely hard to stay focused solving those intricate ancient writings and character puzzles. The flickering hand-held lamps were not much help, either.
But all in all, we still loved the concept of the Mayan room. Maybe it’s just not the right one for us, but a real good challenge for escape room junkies to say the least!
P.S. They provide walkie talkies for communication with game masters.

We did the western room having been re-booked by staff on the wrong day but hey, it’s an escape room. The room was very dim and the flashlights we used had no glow, and by the size of them, probably in someones mouth. We had a blast none the less and probably would return if ever in Vegas again.

We did the Mayan room, had some fun stuff but several props were not working. Didn’t look well cared for. The Poseidon was better, but all the games are lock/combo based with very little tech. Staff was friendly.

Our Mayan room usually gets 5 stars so we are a little shocked to hear that it wasn’t working properly. Would you mind emailing me so that I can make sure that these props are in working order? Me email is melissa@lockdownrooms.com. We do have some locations with lots of tech and some with more lock and key, but we have found that the tech rooms seem to malfunction more often and we like for everyone to enjoy their games! If you’re ever in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, please stop by that location. It is all tech there! Thank you for your review!
